The location was fantastic
For the price, the room didn’t meet my expectations in the slightest. The bed was uncomfortable, the toilet and shower were dirty. There was no plug or light switch by the bed. It was cramped and very uncomfortable.

Location was good for Airport
The rooms were very basic and the road noise was excessive.

Nice little hotel just a hop, skip & jump from the airport.
Tiny room and cars revving in the early hours.
1.0
Dirty bed linen. No tea or coffee facility in room.
Had to change rooms and no one came to help me move.
First room smelt musty and dirty . Not value for money at all . Location was good due to proximity to airport. Won’t be staying again I’m afraid after this experience.

I have stayed (and reviewed) this hotel so many times I have lost count. It is the almost always the cheapest hotel at Birmingham airport and so it is my choice when I have a 6am flight out in the morning, to avoid the hassle of getting taxis and get a longer stay in bed. It is an early 80s idea of a budget hotel so a little tired and not how you would do it today 40 years later. But it does the job and this time I have moved them from an 8 to a 9 because the for the above average rather than ok service in the bar and restaurant from if I recall correctly a waiter called Matt.
It is an early idea of an early 80s budget hotel, so whilst adequate and well maintained it is a step back into what we wanted 40 years ago. Nothing really wrong with what you get or how it is delivered, but just those little niggles such as a socket provision that predates the tech we now carry reminding you that when this hotel was built we did not have laptops let alone phones and tablets with us, with the only plug in carried likely to an electric shaver.

Good location for overnight beside airport. Very expensive for a "budget" hotel. Room very basic, no hairdryer etc For twice the price of normal budget hotels would at least expect that. No tea/coffee facilities in room, available of 1st floor but not great if you are on the 6th! It was clean and quiet. As long as you are aware of what you are getting, grand for a stop over.
hairdryer in room. If an overnight business traveller, you will likely be travelling light therefore need the essentials! No sockets beside bed!

Friendly staff, open all hours, clean and comfy bed.
Tv didn't work and I reported it but nobody came to fix. Very disappointed with that as I'd flown in and wanted to rest and watch telly and have a lay in in the morning.

We booked through booking.com and got ripped off as was much cheaper to book straight with them! The man Anthony on the front desk was amazing as we ended up upgrading our room amazing man,
Don’t stay in the budget side as it is a budget lol there’s budget then there’s way below par! The restaurant was clean all facilities were good

No tea facilities in the room having to go to a separate floor to get a drink

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, comfy beds, room spotlessly clean
No where to park outside for my husband to drop me off. I'm disabled and cannot walk very far, we chose to park in the airport car park which cost £5 and my hubby walked me in to the hotel. There is a pull in outside for 'hotel use' but there is a £100 automatic charge for using it. Don't be caught out!

The location is ideal if you’re travelling from Birmingham International, the lobby is lovely and well decorated too.
The rooms were like something out of a prison documentary, literally felt like we’d been incarcerated. The shower and toilet were both in separate cupboards that barely allowed for a whole person, the sink was in the bedroom next to the bed and the floors were squeaky plastic lino. The pillows were flat and hard, the mattress wasn’t much better. The tv is bolted in place but not well placed for watching tv from the bed, so we got a great view of it in negative due to the angle. Very little sleep, would feel right at home if I’d been incarcerated before.

Free tea and coffee once we learnt where it was as no one told us on arrival . Power shower was fabulous. Food was good staffing fair as the lovely gentleman kindly asked bar staff for a cup of tea for me and they forgot . Clean rooms .
Car park cost me £25 not £12.50 as stated . Some staff could be happier . Would be nice if staff informed you of tea/coffee on first floor or put kettles in rooms . Service charge on food is disgusting we’re in the uk not America . Rooms are very very small we know it’s budget but this is the size of a prison cell
