The room was spacious and no complaints about.the bathroom.
There is a small deck with a table/2 chairs and you look out on a huge lush hill with a rock outcrop and hear birds.
Breakfast is a baguette which is delivered to the table on the deck around 6am. There is butter and jam in the frig and you can boil water for coffee or tea. There is a microwave.
There is a TV that has Netflix.
Ropati Tinau is the owner and he will help you if asked to arrange a tour..
He also rents cars/motorcycles. He is very approachable/friendly as is his 2 staff.
The pension is about a 15 minute walk from the main area of the village.
There is a supermarket, food stalls, dive shop, Yacht Club that has excellent fish starting at 6pm very reasonable prices.
They can drive you back. Details at the bar.
There is a small beach beyond the Yacht Club.
Upon arriving/departure transportation is included.
Payment for stay is cash only.
Nothing I can think of.

Quiet, relaxing place with all the amenities we needed. The host was great to organise a rental car, restaurant booking and local advice. The aircon was also very helpful!
The wifi was a bit slow but still worked for basic internet
10.0 / 10.0
Quiet and away from the roadside, close to a public beach for snorkelling. Breakfast included, 2 restaurants nearby. Being able to cook for ourselves and having our ‘own place’ to look after. Orchid gardens. Walkable to town.
I liked the simple convenience of staying here.

Great place! The owner and all the staff are so helpful. He came to pick us up at the airport and showed us around, giving us the best info on how to get around the island. The place looks nice, breakfast is fine(fresh baguette and homemade jams), the location is perfect (close to the main supermarket and to the yacht club, a great place to have drinks and get dinner).
We enjoyed everything

Basic apartment but all works and is clean.
Stove, water cooker, micro wave and toaster provided.
Comfortable bed.
Free Airport shuttle service
Friendly owner, providing a lot of usefull information.
Car rental option
Perfect and quiet airco, if needed. Plus fan
Practical little town Fare with sufficient food options, a beach, supermarket and the yacht club etc
Terrace fine.
Plastic cover of mattress
Hot water and new pad for washing the dishes would be helpfull. Now we used hot water from water cooker.
Possibility to open windows without getting insects in would be nice.
Two normal reading lights .
Led spots in kitchen instead of the rather cool light of the tube,
Wifi weak at certain times.
Was the limited availability of hot water in the shower an incident ?

Easy walk into town and the staff were very helpful. The room was spacious and the vanilla iced tea at check in was amazing!
Some very small issues with a few ants in the unit but that has to be expected in Huahine!

The owner was so nice. He picked us at the airport and showed us everything in the village - where to find the necessary stuff. Everybody was very helpful and nice. There was possibility to rent the car right at the place.
The room was well equipped with all needed.
Every morning we got fresh bread.
9.0 / 10.0
The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. The bread delivered in the morning with homemade jam was so lovely! Additionally, it was great that the property had an option to rent scooters, cars, or bikes.
The beds had a plastic covering that was a little bit uncomfortable. Also, the rooms were close together so you can kind of hear your neighbors if they are loud, but nothing to complain too much about!

Hosts were terrific. Delicious bread and jelly, well appointed rooms.
The main switch for electricity turns everything off, even the outlets, so you have to sleep w the outside light on if you want to charge your electronics.

Our host Tinau was extremely kind and helpful. He was available all the time and gave us good advice. He picked us up at the airport, gave us bread daily, fruit....The room was spacious and comfortable. There was a little patio in front of it. There is a beach close to the property and town is only 1 km away, so easy to walk to. We rented bicycles and a scooter directly from Tinau which was convenient. Overall we had an excellent stay at Pension Fare Ara Huahine.

The owner is the super star! So pleasant and helpful! He went to pick us up from airport and gave us a detail local guide and tips of this island! I don’t think I miss anything when we were at his place!

The host is very nice and helpful! He took us on a little tour around Fare when we arrived and he told us about all the sightseeing on Huahine. The room is nice and clean. The terasse is very good. You can rent a car at Fare Are, which is very convenient.
Be aware that the small rooms do not have an oven in the kitchen, even though it says so in the description on booking. The small room does not look like picture on Booking.com . The room is nice, but different than the pictures.

Tinau is a superb and attentive host and the bungalows are well run. Very easy scooter and car rentals on site and the 20 minute walk into town (and to a very beautiful beach) is easily doable. Spacious and clean. You can buy vanilla beans from Tinau for a better price than anywhere else on the island.
We would have liked a bigger outside area with lounge chairs to lay down. Be careful with the clothes line outside, it left rust stains on some of our clothes.

Tinau and his staff were wonderful. The best host we had. Tinau was very informative on things to do on the island. Free use of the cruiser bikes. 2 scooters to rent- the best views and turquoise ocean is found at the south end of Iti. Perfect snorkeling spot with small beach just 5 minutes away! Don’t forget happy hour at the yacht club take the bikes or it is bit of a walk. Best prices in town for drinks and an excellent dinner -Large portions you could definitely split.
Rooms were a little small but affordable.

This cozy, roomy, and private apartment had everything we needed to make our 4 day stay on Huahine very comfortable. Tinau ( our host) goes to great length to make sure you’re satisfied. He provided us with bicycles that worked well riding on the hotel side of the island. We’re not big resort people and this beautifully equipped apartment was ideal for our independent travel style. It’s an amazing value! We would absolutely stay at Fate Ara again.
There wasn’t anything not to love about this property.

I thought the host, Tino, made every effort to make my stay as comfortable as possible - he was really awesome and accommodating!
I wish it were closer to town, where all the shops are located, but it’s not a big deal because it was about a 20-minute walk.
8.3 / 10.0
Location was great a short walk to to Fare, nice local feel to the place, and Tinau was an excellent host
Beds and pillows were bit uncomfortable
