We loved our stay in this cute and charming brick house! Super quiet neighborhood and walking distance to restaurants and shops. Beds were super comfortable and the amenities were top notch! Would love to stay here again for our next visit to Wabasha! Thank you!!

This place has all the comforts of home! From the fully stocked kitchen to the amazing outdoor spaces, we were able to spread out and relax. Coffee in the morning on the front porch and social time on the back patio in the evenings gave us valuable family time. The house is well kept and has so much character. The neighborhood is quiet, so we were able to recharge for the next day's adventures. This is likely where we will book our stay for our next trip down.

We had a great stay in this beautifully restored home. The owners have created a charming, relaxing place to stay - with the added plus of being close to walks along the river, a gorgeous golf course, and Buena Vista Park. Perfect.

The house has everything you could need! Bring your toiletries and clothes and you’re set! Easy parking, perfect spaces to hang out and chat inside and out. We had the absolute best stay! One extra sweet touch was recommendations of restaurants/ activities from past guests. So unexpected and so cute.

We have stayed in many VRBO places, but this property stands out as the best one yet! It is incredibly clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The cookware, beds and linens are high quality. You will feel instantly at home upon arrival. It is spacious yet cozy at the same time. It is clear John and Amy have carefully thought about the needs of their guests. They are fabulous to work with and genuinely care that people have an incredible experience. You will not be disappointed in this property. 😁

I loved this house! The house itself was so cute with modern updates in the kitchen and bathrooms. The furniture (all 3 beds and living room couch and chairs) were comfortable and everything was overall so welcoming! The house was extremely clean and in a fantastic area within Wabasha. Truly a wonderful experience!

We absolutely loved this house! Everything was just perfect down to the smallest details. And so so clean! Immaculate! The digital key pad worked perfectly and we felt so secure. The beds were very comfortable, including the Murphy bed and the extra memory foam sleeping pads. We appreciated the complimentary coffee very much, and the brochures about things to do. We had a wonderful weekend, and would absolutely stay here again if we were ever in Wabasha again. Thank you!

This property was amazing cute cozy and homey super comfortable lots of activities for inside and outside the house we felt everything this property provided was super thoughtful of the people using it our only issue was knocking our shins on the end of the bed and not really having enough room to get into the downstairs bed on one side but most def a 14 out of 10 stars

Heading into the weekend I was nervously hopeful that the property would be as beautiful as the photos since I booked it for a small group of friends. The home and amenities far exceeded our expectations! The property was adorable and as described plus the managers of the property seem to have thought of everything! There were yard games in the porch, blankets for outside, wood to burn in the bonfire container, makeup towels and extra linens, an air conditioner in each bedroom, a kitchen fully stocked with all the dishes and cooking tools you could want, games, books, TV options, comfortable seating everywhere, and a bulletin board in the kitchen with all the information you needed to explore the town. We loved every minute of our stay and would have stayed longer if we could. The beds were very comfortable and the temperature in the house was well controlled by opening windows and utilizing the air conditioners at night. We were able to easily walk to the river and downtown establishments in Wabasha and cook wonderful breakfasts with all the provided cookware. Overall I would highly recommend this property and hope to have the opportunity to stay there again! We had 6 adults stay, but could have easily accomodated a few more kids or adults.

Great weekend stay for all
We had a weekend stay during a family event, with ages from 45-10 years old. The property was immaculate, games provided for all ages. Amenities (laundry, kitchen, etc) all supplied. One of best VRBO/house rental experiences ever, and highly recommend!

Wabasha Historical Home
Let me start by saying the home itself was wonderful. It was in a quaint small town on the Mississippi River in Southwestern Minnesota. We had not visited Wabasha in about 8 years and sadly it was not as vibrant as previously, but the location is great for day tripping to both sides of the Mississippi. There is a bridge in Wabasha to Wisconsin and combined with the bridges near Winonna and Red Wing makes for nice loops.
The home has lots of nice touches including the tags for local dining and the owner's "takes" on those places. The dining room is huge, while the living room is on the smaller size the bed rooms are nicely done considering two of them are really small. While there are 3 bedrooms more than 4 adults would really be tight in the house overall. The reason for this are not only the small aforementioned living room, but the fact there is only one bath tub and it is an old fashioned tub with an adapted shower. You feel like you are in a cocoon when showering and the step down from the tub is a bit of a leap of faith. Not enough places to hang towels and the sink is very small. Owners should bite the bullet and remodel with a modern step in shower and sky light instead of the existing old tub and window.
Biggest reason we gave the home 4 stars though despite all the nice touches and pleasant decorating was the check out process. We paid $80 for cleaning plus a $55 damage fee and still had a complex check out process that includes stripping the beds and gathering towels, starting the wash, and emptying garbage and starting dishes washing. For those fees all you should be asked to do is start dish washer. While we thoroughly enjoyed the home we will not stay again out of principal.
I'm sure others enjoy their stay but we'll opt for another property when we next visit.

Property was enjoyable. However the box elder bugs were everywhere. Woke up a few times crawling on our faces.

We like to stay in the Wabasha area and have stayed at two different places in the last three stays
We have stayed at this VRBO a couple of years ago. Not sure if there is a new owner. We found the kitchen and dining room to have footprints that we wiped up in order to keep our stockings clean. There were several box elder bugs - dead and alive. The bath tub upstairs is dangerous…no handrails to help one get in and out.

Adorable Home
We went for a mom’s weekend and would highly recommend this home! We decided to come down to relax and enjoy each other’s company. The neighborhood is very chill and quiet. The home was exactly what we were looking for. The beds were comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking our meals, coffee was available, there were yard games and everything was very tastefully decorated. Would absolutely stay again!

Super Cute Home in Wabasha
This charming home was the perfect location for exploring the Wabasha area. The owners took great care to make sure that we were set the entire time and even dropped by last minute to give us access to five bikes so we could peddle along the river into town. Every detail was thought of down to all the fixins for backyard smores!

Great for a girls' getaway!
The house was fantastic ~ decorated beautifully and stocked thoughtfully. We had a question about the fridge (it took a while to cool after we added all of our food for a girls' getaway with 4 of us), but Connie was very responsive. There were yard games, board games, and enough towels, soap and tp to last our entire stay ~ that's not always the case! The house is in a great location ~ we walked or biked to almost everything we wanted to see during our stay. Wabasha is a hidden gem, as is this property!

Lovely place in a great location
We loved this property! Connie was a joy via text. It served our needs (parents visiting with adult son) very well. All over the house were perfect places to sit and talk. And the design was fun and fresh and i LOVED the chandelier in the 1st floor bathroom! We loved being so close to Frontenac State Park (which was so wonderful) and the onion rings at Triangle Irish Pub were to die for.

Great Girls Weekend
This was the perfect house for our weekend getaway. The house was clean, comfortable and cozy. We had everything we needed including coffee, cooking items, games, blankets, etc. The location is a quick walk to town, which was nice since we had perfect weather and were able to both enjoy the town and the outdoor space at the house. I would highly recommend this location, we didn't want to leave!

Beautiful home; great location
This home is located just on the edge of downtown Wabasha, about a 5 min walk to the National Eagle Center. It’s also a short drive to the local market and a small, family owned liquor store. The house is very clean, comfortable and well maintained. We loved the old farmhouse decor and feel juxtaposed against the modern amenities and touches. There were plenty of yard games for all of us to enjoy. We grilled and enjoyed the patio most of the weekend. Everybody slept well (even the 4 y/o!). The host was easy to contact. She also left Easter eggs and a book as a gift for the little one. Our teenager loved this house too. We will definitely be back for another weekend getaway.

Fun for Everyone!
Beautifully decorated and fun for all ages! From my Mom-who is 90, to my teen kids, we all had a great time staying at the cottage. We could walk to downtown and enjoy meals and games at the big dining room table. The owner had lots of fun indoor and outdoor games for adults and teens. We all enjoyed our stay at this clean and inviting home. Special times with my family!
