Enjoy a cup of coffee in the vibrant Sunroom overlooking the river. Two living rooms and 3 levels of wide plank floors, colonial style bedrooms in rustic fashion. A large farm kitchen with a beautiful gathering table that seats large groups where you'll enjoy good food and lots of laughs together. Guests have full access to both the house kitchen and the chef's kitchen with a huge commercial refrigerator for all the extra food, both are fully equipped with service up to 30.
THE BARN (where the fun really gets going)
Pool Table, Air Hockey Table, Foosball Table, Hand Shuffleboard Table, inside Corn Hole, Darts, Chalkboard Wall, Family Games, Kids Toys, and lots of Books! A cozy Gaming Corner with TV + XBOX, couches, bean bags and chairs. In the Camp Room you'll take a step outside with a T-Pee, futon lay down for the night checking out the glow in the dark ceiling shooting stars and a full moon!
Then take a climb up to the 3rd floor to the Big Screen, Popcorn & A Movie sit back in vintage theater seats, comfy couches and watch one of over 1500 DVD movies with surround sound movie experience. Hook up your Xbox or watch the Superbowl on the big screen through streaming apps. KIDS LOVE THE BARN! ADULTS LOVE THE BARN! Really, everyone loves the barn, tons of fun!
OUTSIDE
Enjoy the Back Deck Bar, Outdoor Kitchen with Grill and large Hot Tub with Bluetooth speakers. The cleanliness of the tub is very Important to us! Prior to each stay we vacuum, scrub, rinse out filter, test and add chemicals along with changing out the water regularly.
Off the deck is a beautiful staircase that leads to the backyard with a stone Fire Pit at the edge of the Baker River. Kayaks and paddles are tucked up underneath the deck on racks and life jackets as well. String Lighting between the barn and trees for great fun playing a huge selection of outdoor games day or night.
Rustic Gatherings Lodge has an abundance of bed linens, bath towels, pillows, sleeping bags, cots, floor mats, Keurig, house coffee pot, coffee grinder, French press, coffee carafe, KitchenAid, food processer, blender, crock pots, waffle irons and so much more! Please feel free to ask us just to make sure we have what you'll need.
We don't have a lot of cleaning tasks for you to do at check-out, just pile your towels on the bathroom floor and load up the dishwasher, we'll do the rest, no stripping beds.
PERSONAL CHEF SERVICES Wanna plan a special retreat, have us cook for you. We are Farm to Fork, locally sourced personal chefs, we'll cook good food the way you want, meeting any dietary allergies, restrictions, or preferences. A beautifully designed table setting for you to enjoy our artisan meal presented by generations of my family, my mama whom I grew up cooking in the kitchen alongside myself, and my beautiful nieces. You'll hear about the history of the home, what farms your food came from and how it was prepared. Truly a unique experience.

We stayed in August of 2024 and our group of 13 had a great time. We appreciated the communication and all the amenities on site, especially in the barn. We especially recommend anyone visiting to head out to Lake Tarleton to swim - its beautiful there. Thank you for everything Sandy!

Me and my friends had wanted to go on a senior trip but didn’t want to go far, we live right outside of boston and this house was perfect. We had an incredible stay and the house was able to fit all of us extremely comfortably! The host was amazing and left directions all throughout the house! We had such a good time and would definitely recommend

We had a great time- 4 families with kids ranging from early elementary to teens plus our dogs. This fabulous country home was able to accommodate us all with room to spare! The barn was a highlight, and there were so many thoughtful details throughout the house. Sandy greeted us warmly when we arrived, and was accessible if we needed anything. The house itself is incredibly charming. There is ample space for everyone, including the expansive barn which is perfect for entertaining. As well as the seven-person hot tub on the back porch that was ready for use upon our arrival. There are more than enough bathrooms, and the bedrooms were extremely comfortable. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, who were briefly at the property next door. They were very accommodating and more than willing to answer any questions I had. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Our hostess Sandy was our personal chef for the evening and our meal was absolutely delicious. She also told us the history of the lodge and the town of Warren! She was wonderful!!

What a lovely place to bring the family! We are so pleased with Sean & Sandy and the home they shared with us. They did an amazing job renovating a property with modern amenities and keeping the irreplaceable historic charm of Bailey's Tavern. The games in the barn, the screening room, nearby trails, and beautiful mountain views. We couldn't be more thankful that we chose this place for our stay. Book it! You won't regret it. :-)

We stayed at Rustic Gatherings for a family reunion of 10 adults and 3 little kids, and just had the best time! The house is great for all ages, and equipped with everything you need for a lovely stay. We had so much fun playing in the river behind the house, making s'mores in the fire pit, BBQing, and watching movies in the movie room. Sandy and Sean are so welcoming and helpful, and even went above and beyond to make sure our family found us when some of us decided to tube down the river!
Added bonus, there's a great little blueberry picking farm about 10 minutes up the road.

Everything was even better then the listing read. Space for kids and adults. Even though it rained a few days there was loads of activities in the Barn for the kids.
The hostess was wonderful and responded quickly to our questions via text.

We had a great stay at Rustic Gatherings Lodge for a bachelorette party! Sandy was so communicative throughout the booking process (as well as during our stay) and answered all questions I had. Everyone was very comfortable at the Lodge and we had a lot of fun staying there.

There are so many great things about this property, but at the top of the list are the hosts, Sandy and Sean. They are full of information about the area, incredibly responsive, so very friendly, and have put together a place where everyone in your group will have a great time. We initially searched for a place that had to have 6 bedrooms to accommodate our family coming in from South Carolina, Texas, and three New England states. What we got was so much more. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable; the living and family rooms had plenty of seating for hanging with family; the large dining-room table right off the kitchen big enough to seat 10. There is a big 4-season porch, and a large back deck overlooking a river, Just a beautiful setting. Past the kitchen was another commercial-type kitchen with a large refrigerator and huge double sink. Every pot, pan, baking sheet, cup, glass, plate, utensil you would ever need is in this house. But the best part, especially for our family with 10 adults, two teenagers, a 4-year old, and two infants was The Barn! Sure, we saw the description in the ad, but we still couldn't believe it when we saw it. Accessing through the commercial kitchen up a small flight of stairs is a small living area, another bedroom, 3/4 bath on this floor with a Game Room. The Game Room was where we spent a lot of time: Air Hockey, Pool Table, Foosball, Table Shuffleboard, Darts, another living-room area, and so many toys for younger kids. If that wasn't enough, up the stairs to the next level revealed another 3/4 bath and a Movie Theater! Big screen, great sound system, and probably close to 2000 DVDs (maybe more). Sandy and Sean have created and maintained a place where large families can come together and make a lot of memories. We certainly did, and if our family comes together again like this past Christmas/New Year, Rustic Gatherings will be at the top of our list.

We really enjoyed our stay over the holidays. Sandy went above and beyond to have the house decorated and perfect for our arrival. She also maintained great communication and had all the info I needed for my stay ready and accessible in the house. There was so much to explore in the house, and the kids really loved the game room in the barn. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to host a large group of people, and enjoys rustic charm.

Extremely family friendly! We had10 adults and 13 kids (3-13). There was plenty of space for all to enjoy. The Baker River in the backyard was the highlight for the kids. They were always out there!
After a day in the River, we enjoyed time in the hot tub, making s’mores by the campfire or walking down to Moose Scoops for ice creams.
The Barn is an awesome extra. It has entertainment for everyone from games , books, football, air hockey, wall chalkboard, shuffleboard and even a theatre with 2500 dvds. Kids and adults were also fascinated with the working record player and record collection.

I can't say enough about our stay. We were a group of 15 adults there for a 40th birthday party. Sandy was so helpful in answering questions ahead of our group arriving. Check-in process was wonderful with Sandy giving us a quick tour and showing all of the space and amenities available. The house, barn, and backyard are huge and the pictures do not do this beautiful property justice. My friends and I loved hanging out in the backyard by the river and in the hot tub. The outdoor bar is so cool. The entire house was very clean, bedrooms were comfortable, and there was so much space to hang out that people could get some time to themselves if needed. It's very close to a general store and we walked down the road to get ice cream. We hated to leave when it was over. Thank you so much Sandy for a wonderful weekend. We have already talked about returning in the future.

We stayed at the Lodge for a week to celebrate my husbands 40th and had an absolutely amazing time!! Sandy was the best hostess and the lodge provided *plenty* of activities to keep our family and friends, both young and old, entertained throughout our stay - which included sun, wind, cold, warmth and snow - gotta love New England!

We rented this for a bachelorette weekend and it could not have been more perfect! And the communication/greeting from the owner was impeccable. Sandy met us and showed us all we needed to know. Not only that but she had a cute little note and some chocolates for our group. The hospitality was so kind! She also was reachable via text which was super helpful! Now to the house - first of all, it’s huge! The pictures don’t do the size justice. When you pull up it’s deceiving from the road what lies within. The house is super cozy - from the eat-in kitchen to the multiple living rooms, breakfast sunroom, and barn! The barn, is amazing! We didn’t have enough time to utilize all that is in the barn/theatre. We were 10 people but this place can easily accommodate many more. I wish we had more time to enjoy everything. We wanted a weekend where we didn’t have to go anywhere and this fulfilled that beyond anything we could have imagined!

Sandy's home was a great location for our group of 19. The home had everything needed and more. Loved the river right outside the back deck. Plenty of sleeping space and parking for everyone. Would highly recommend for a large group gathering. Sandy was also super with communication.

This place is amazing. The game room has everything plus a theater upstairs. The key is that is all separated from the bedrooms so people can go to bed and the party animals can stay up playing games without bothering them! Perfect for large family groups!

The House was nothing but Awesome. Spacious beautifully decorated bedrooms with comfortable beds. The bathrooms and living rooms were comfortable and beautiful as well. My wife loved the two kitchens. They had every thing you need. Pots, pans, utensils, cooking supplies, etc. However, in my opinion the attached Barn was the best part of the home. The kids loved loved it. Full of games, toys, puzzles, a movie theater with tons of movies, adult games, etc. We had family tournaments on the shuffleboard and pool tables. A BLAST! We have been meeting each year for a family reunion and this tops every place we have ever rented.
The host Sandy could not have been more attentive and helpful. I texted her a couple times and she got right back and even stopped by to make sure everything was fine. She and her husband are the best! I would recommend this rental to anyone.

Sandy is an excellent host. Always available to answer any questions. The property is perfect for family time together.. from the amazing kitchen to the game room and plenty of places to sleep! The lodge has everything you need and plenty of spaces to get together as a big group, or find a quiet place for a little R&R.

The house was exactly how pictured and so much better. So much room and so much space. So much for the kids todo. Wish we could have stayed longer. The Host was Everything.. we appreciated her so much. She answered any questions we needed answered and even came by and showed us how to work her appliances the correct way. 10/10

We went up to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday with a group of 22 friends and family members and it was AMAZING. The house and barn were clean and spacious for large groups. Lots of personalized touches that make the place incredibly charming. The yard is perfect for yard games and outdoor summer fun. It is so clear that Sandy takes pride in this property and making sure everyone's stay is the very best. She made us a gorgeous and delicious cake from scratch and her husband set up a late night outdoor movie for us. We even took a walking field trip to the common to enjoy a free concert one night. Everything about this trip was perfect and we have Sandy to thank for that!

Just came home from the rustic gatherings lodge and we are sad to be back home. This home had such charm and warmth and so much to do on and off the property. It is right on the baker river, literally in the back yard with a swimming hole a few feet away that my family enjoyed. While it is secluded, the closest market is only about 20 min away which is not bad at all and is close to tons of attractions, swimming holes, etc. you will not regret staying here with your friends and/or family! Last but not least, Sandy is the most amazing host I’ve ever interacted with she truly felt like family and was always there if we needed her with just one phone call! Thanks so much Sandy to you and your family!

We were a group of 18 family members that stayed for 4 nights in July. Ages of kids ranged from 7 to 17 as well as a few in their 20s ... plus 8 adults... Despite the weather not being quite what we wanted, we still had a wonderful time! Loved the deck/bar/hot tub area! Plenty of space to spread out - especially the barn for the kids/teens! They LOVED it! Yard was HUGE and firepit area was great for gathering (once the rain stopped)! We got one day of sunshine and enjoyed the river right out back...
Having 2 kitchens was great for prepping large meals for 18!
Had a wonderful time and will definitely consider this property again!

The house has many rooms, lots of space to relax, do you own thing, or come together as the mood fits. We were four couples, longtime friends who hadn't been together for any amount of time since the pandemic and this was the perfect place to reunite. Sandy is very responsive to inquiries and the house has just about everything you'll need.

We had an amazing time at the Lodge celebrating my in-laws 50th Wedding Anniversary. The Lodge has so much to offer and the pictures only hint at the fun to be had there. There is so much to do and see. We loved the deck, watching the river, the jacuzzi was so clean, the space for everyone to spread out, playing pool/air hockey in the connected barn, and just hanging out. Sandy cooked for us two amazing meals that we enjoyed the leftovers for days following. The chartreuse board she created was a masterpiece of tasty treats and all the food was simply divine. The Lodge is homey, welcoming and centrally located to all kinds of stores, restaurants and places to explore. We can't wait to head back there!!

Big but cozy layout with many clean, comfortable bedrooms and sitting areas, a wonderful kitchen/dining area where we could gather over meals as a family and a HUGE attached barn outfitted with all the games and activities we could want— and dog friendly as well!We used the new grill and the large, new hot tub was perfect after we took a long hike at Mt Moosilauke nearby.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to stay here again.

We had a great time here, the place is ENORMOUS with a TON of character. It exceeded all expectations for hosting a Halloween themed murder mystery dinner party. Loved this place and the Owners were super helpful and generous.

Rustic Gatherings Lodge gave us a truly special and relaxing week. Our family (two teens, two adults and the Wondermutt) sorely needed to get out of the city during the pandemic, and we feel truly lucky that Rustic Gatherings and Warren NH proved to be the ideal getaway. Sandy, Sean, and their staff are very experienced, easy-going and attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed, promptly and helpfully replying to any inquiry. The house and barn are amazing— clean, very comfy, relaxed and so well-supplied. We passed many hours indoors playing air hockey, pool, and board games, and cooking in both of the well-stocked kitchens. And, there were hours spent outdoors in the hot tub and Baker River that runs through the backyard. The outdoor bar was a favorite! The local knowledge that Sandy and Sean shared took us to amazing swimming holes, quiet lakes for kayaking, scenic ponds, and the best area hikes. In nearby towns, we also found our way to an amazing Japanese-inspired tree nursery (Shin-Boku) and an excellent local pottery (Ripple). From the lodge, you can walk through the woods along a brook to get ice cream at Moose Scoops, as well as meals at a couple local restaurants. Mount Moosilauke trails are very close by, as is one of the most remote and lightly-traveled sections of the White Mountain National Forest. The Warren area is a perfect combo of “lots to do” and “hidden gem”.
We’ll return, for sure—either with a large group to the main lodge or to the new guest house next door that they’re finishing up.
