Sitting on the deck watching the ships go by was wonderful.

The home was very large and was in a great location. Unfortunately the bathtub upstairs leaked through the floor onto the second level only after I spent awhile scrubbing the filthy tub.l for my daughter. The dishes were not clean and the floor was dirty. Given some TLC this home has the potential to be wonderful!

We had a great time. Lots of room. Wish we could have stayed longer. However the upstairs jacuzzi tub was leaking badly and could not be used. The handle on the sliding glass door was broken as well.

If you want a convenient location on Whidbey Island with perfect views of the water this is it. In the summer the evenings can get intensely sunny, to the point where you will need to wear sunblock and sunglasses inside. Maybe an umbrella on the deck to help block the sun so you can still be outside in the breeze would be helpful?
It is dog friendly, so the cleanliness of the floors left something to be desired, and the dishes needed to get (re?)cleaned before they could be used. But the linens/towels were very clean.

Location was great central point for getting around the island, was very charming and completely setup with accommodations. Host company was easy to get ahold of and kind in their responses.
I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a nice getaway :)

We enjoyed our stay! Plenty of room, comfortable beds, quiet, all amenities we needed. The hot tub was great to sit in it with the amazing views of the water. Temperature of the tub could be hotter, but overall great. Fun to have ping pong table. It was convenient to visit Langley and Coupville. Nearest grocery store about 8 min away so not bad!

The views were incredible and the house was comfortable. This was a great vantage point to sit and watch ships go by. The hot tub was nice and very clean, as was the large bathtub. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We only had 3 people but this house could comfortably sleep a larger family.

This home was truly amazing and all we could have hoped for. Three girlfriends and my dog Tucker all loved it. The spectacular view, watching the ships go by, beach access, the amazing hot tub used daily! All made for an unforgettable experience. We will rent it again. Don’t change a thing!

A very relaxing and spectacular location. A great place to unwind for a few days, kitchen had everything we needed, some furniture a bit worn but that didn’t matter due to the view! We will be coming back.

Breathtaking views. Well appointed amenities. Our only regret is that we didn't schedule a longer stay. Can't wait to come back.

Everything about the property was good - check-in was easy and it had all the amenities we could need. However, it would be good if someone from Vacasa stayed at the property once to check on it. Some things are clearly starting to wear from use - the armrest on a chair was loose, the handles on pots and pans were coming unscrewed, etc.
Additionally, the placement of the bunk beds in the main bedrooms is odd. Certainly adds more room to accommodate people, but it's exemplary of the rest of the house. If you're looking for a romantic cabin, this isn't it. If you'd like to stay here with two families and spend most of your time outside on the island, it's a great option.

Views were beautiful and house was spacious.

Property has a beautiful view and lots of fun activities- hot tub, Ping-Pong table. Nice place to stay for a night or two. We stayed a week and the home was inadequately provided with the basics for our length of stay. Examples- 3 dishwasher pods,4 garbage bags, 2 paper towels. Contacted Vacasa. They informed us this "wasn't a hotel". To keep their prices low, we could purchase all these items for our additional stay. Unprofessional. Would not use a property they manage again!

Our stay in this house was fantastic! We walked in to a house decorated for the Holidays and the warm open floor plan was perfect for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was well stocked with necessary appliances and the coffee station was much appreciated. When the weather permits there is a lovely view of the water and mountains. We all really enjoyed this home away from home!

Loved our 2 night stay here. When we entered they had decorated for the holidays and it was such a welcoming detail that we did not expect. The overall cleanliness of the home was great and the amenities kept us and our small children entertained. The quiet neighborhood made for a very comfortable stay.

We had a fantastic stay with our friends and kiddos for 3 nights. We walked down to the beach, soaked in the tub at night, played games and watched the water. The view was outstanding! We loved waking up and enjoying our coffee and watching the ships go by. The ping pong table was a huge hit with us as well! Plenty of space for us all. We would stay again!

The home could use a handyman for a couple days to fix things. Nice layout for a big family. Hot tub was nice. The loft bed had tons of dog hair on it.

The house is spacious, beautiful views, comfortable beds and well equipped. Unfortunately we had some problems related with the cleanliness of the property. As soon as we parked in the driveway and opened the car doors we smell something REALLY bad coming from the trash bins. We let the property management know and they sent someone to clean (it helped a little, but the smell was really strong). Also, there was a big brown spill inside the fridge - also cleaned by the housekeeper that went to check the trash bin. The drain on the bathtub on the main floor was clogged - we all had to use the bathroom upstairs.
Overall, the house is very well equipped, lots of games and toys (we had a 10 months old baby with us and she loved all the toys), nice hot tub. I just wished for some wine glasses (there was only one), maybe leave some cleaning products available (disinfectant wipes, something to clean kitchen’ surfaces) and more attention to property’s cleanliness.
One very positive thing about our stay was how fast Vacasa reply to all of questions and inquiries.

Overall the home was amazing. Location was beautiful and the neighborhood was nice. Short distance walk to the beach. View from the deck was incredible.
The deck railings were very dirty, so when sitting you were looking through dirt. We ended up buying a scrub mop and window cleaner and cleaning g some of the panels so we could enjoy the view.
The windows in the house were also very dirty.
The gas grill is very full of old caked on food. So much so that grilling was met with a lot of flames flaring up. That should be thoroughly cleaned for safety.
The hot tub was not locked as online listing and multiple messages said. And there was no key in a lockbox. The code worked though. So online listing may need updating.
Overall this was our chance to get away for a family vacation and it was really a great getaway. The ping pong table was a huge win for my teens.

Relaxing get away on Whidbey Island near Bush Point. Sweeping views of Puget Sound, and plenty of space for 6 to stretch out. Table tennis was a hit with kids.

House has an amazing view of the water and the ships passing through the channel. The neighborhood was quite and the neighbors were friendly. We saw bald eagles down at the beach and a great horned owl came and sat on the roof for a bit one evening. The sunsets were fantactic! Will come stay here again!

Overall a very great stay and beautiful stay however we lost power to the kitchen, some outlets in the front room with the big windows and the outlets down stairs in the game room. We were unable to use the kitchen without a flashlight at night. I messaged for help and got told to check the breaker box which was locked in the garage that we were told to stay out of so spent most the weekend with no power and lack of communication but would definitely come back for a another visit. Thanks for a good stay minus the minor set backs.

Everything was as the description had said.
Beautiful home and unbeatable view of the water. So nice watching the cruise and cargo ships, yachts etc. going in and out.
Clean with just a few small maintenance issues.
Only con i can think of was a planned outage in the neighborhood that we were not advised of. Lasted most of the day.
All in all it was a very refreshing and enjoyable week on the island.

We loved it! Perfect view, quiet and wonderful facility.

It was a lovely stay and we enjoyed the view immensely. Only things to add would be more dishes. Four bowls shared among 8 people is just not enough. More silverware would be nice, too. Also a tea kettle. We made do with boiling water in the microwave with the glass measuring cup. Wine glasses might be nice, but I can see that with a hot tub that might be a liability for stupid people who go and use them in the hot tub and then you get glass everywhere. New toaster if we are being picky here. That thing is soooo slow. Coat rack by door would also be nice as well as a bit more art on walls. Such a nice walk to the little beach/boat launch (complete with a mini ghost town and even a phone booth! That was fun to show our kids!) and a very short drive to the beautiful parks with hiking trails! We really enjoyed our stay, thank you!

This home exceeded all expectations. The pictures don’t do the view justice. It was magical. Clean home, kid friendly, dog friendly. Great neighborhood to walk and very close to beach access. We will absolutely be back!!

The house was in a beautiful location and had. Nice set up. It was close enough to things without being in town. The beds were hard but the rooms were great. The view from the loft is an amazing view to wake up to. I especially appreciated the small fenced area for my dogs. It would have been nice to have some more pots and pans and kitchen utensils but we got by. The management company was not helpful until we finally got in touch with our contact for this property. Everyone else had incorrect information about what the property had. For example, we sent a message asking how to turn on the fire place and they said there was no fire place. Later we were asking for the code to open the hot tub because the one we were given didn’t work and they responded that there was no hot tub. Both items were clearly in the house and part of the reason we booked that location. Once we got connected to our contact, she was able to answer all of our questions. Despite that interaction, we would stay here again!

We had a lovely two nights at this home. We needed a space that was dog friendly (the fenced deck and small yard area are perfect), had a reasonable kitchen space and a pingpong table. Whidbey Cedar Sunset house has all of these things.

Views were beautiful and home was comfortable. Hot tub was nice. However it was not completely clean, didn't have a completely stocked kitchen and our stay was interrupted by lawn maintenance workers nearly the entire time we were there.
5.0 / 5.0
Overall, we really love the entire experience we had at this location. 2 things that did come up for us was it seemed the people before us didn't clean the dishes, or even put in dishwasher and many had food on them and were extremely dirty. We were also going to BBQ one evening, but the bottom of the BBQ was pretty much gone, which would have dripped on Propane tank, which I felt was not good. Should be replaced. Other than those 2 things, everything else was ideal and we would stay there again for sure

As a Law Enforcement Officer your property is exactly what me and my family needs to relax. We have stayed at your property before and we plan to stay here at your property year after year. Thank you for opening your home to us.

We loved the location and the house was very large with great views. The kitchen could have used a few more glasses and teaspoon flatware as well. If the house was supposed to host a total of 4 adults and 4 kids, it didn't appear there were enough towels/washcloths/handtowels for that number. Also, the hand towels and washcloths had remnants of old makeup on them. We enjoyed the hot tub a lot!! I would rent this house again without question.

The view alone was worth the price to stay. A lovely peacefulness engulfs this entire house.

Best views ever! Watched several cruize ships go by. Beautiful house, well-appointed, everything provided.
