Fantastische Unterkunft in Twizel

Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber, wie auch schön und zweckmäßig mit durchdachten Details eingerichtet. Der überdachte Parkplatz und die tolle Terrasse sind ein besonderes Merkmal. In der Küche ist auch alles vorhanden. Ich hoffe sehr in dieser wunderschönen Wohnung in Twizel wieder einmal nächtigen zu dürfen.

Lovely modern house

Very modern and clean. Well equipped kitchen and washing machine. The owners were very accommodating in letting us check in early due to the snow storm, which was very appreciated. Also really liked the little cubby hole wardrobes in each of the bedrooms, great idea

The accomodation looks even better in real life! The whole place is comfortable and clean, plenty of kitchenware to cook, bed was big and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Lovely perfectly appointed apartment with everything you need, right near Lake Pukaki and Mt Cook.

How great to have such a clean, cosy, and well appointed apartment. Easy to get to, standalone, and the only rental on this property. Warmly welcomed by hosts in communication and also the way the apartment is set up. Everything you need, down to ice already made in the freezer. Lovely selection of French press coffee and tea, and the chocolates were a lovely touch. Extra heater provided for those cooler evenings, but the beds were super warm and the bathroom with heated tiles. So happy to have had time here, and I had some rainy weather and was very happy to have an inside day. Excellent, fast WiFi, and a great kitchen/bench. My choice to stay in Twizel compared to Tekapo was the right one, very close to drive into Mt Cook National Park, and a short trip from the beautiful Lake Pukaki.

Very good stay in Twizel

Overall this is great value for money, considering the prices charged in the surrounding area and further out at Tekapo. The house was comfortable and had all the mod-cons you would need for a trip in rural NZ. This includes a hot shower, a washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen. It was also very clean and warm with a heat pump available in the living room area. Also really appreciative of the owner who warmly greeted us on arrival and told us that due to public works, water would not be available for late next morning. This gave us plenty of options to work around it - thanks!

The ventilation fan in the bathroom may need replacement, it sounds really rough when running. One of the beds was a bit too soft for my friend's liking.

Fantastic holiday cottage

A fabulous cottage, clean, comfortable, with everything one could want provided. The patio was a lovely private place to chill. Twizel itself is small but with good facilities and an excellent supermarket. An easy walk from the cottage to the shops and restaurants. Easy driving distance to the lakes and Mt Cook. Loved our time here.

It's such a lovely homelike house. Got all the comforts you may need. Everything is very new and clean. Very nice decoration just like the sweet home. Love it!

The sink is bit small so need to be careful with the splash. No microwave. But overall it's such a lovely place.

All the comforts of home, except we were in the Mt. Cook range of NZ. Crystal clear skies, Milky Way shining thru every night, wondrous cold - instead of murderous heat - and all the fresh mountain salmon you can eat at bargain prices. Who could ask for more?

Nice little apartment in Twizel

The small apartment was clean and we'll furnished. Kitchen, large sofa and TV. We had 2 rooms with a queen bed in each. There was only one air conditioner/heating unit in the living room. No heating in the bedrooms, though it was warm enough. Sheets were clean. Sheltered car porch right outside the apartment. The complimentary chocolates were a nice touch. All in all, a very pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend it.

The bathroom was a little smaller than usual. The dryer was outside the room. No hot water to the kitchen sink. All small things. A few more hooks inside the bathroom would be nice.

Great place in Twizel

The whole house is just great. Spatious and well equipped. It really feels like home.

Absolutely nothing that would make our stay worse, just an observation. The house is not insulated well so in cold weather, it gets cold inside. While that is easily solvable for the guests with the heating mode on airco, I find it a pity to have it on all night and use all that energy, when you could perhaps install the heating plates into rooms and that stays warm for quite some time even after you turn that off.

A clean, modern place which was in a convenient location, close to the shops

It was clean and modern place with a lovely enclosed garden. it had everything we needed for a couple of days stay.

Maybe a corner sofa would enable enough seating for 4 adults.

accommodation was near town centre, provided all the necessary amenities and a drive away from the hooker valley track! Host was super helpful and friendly too!

WOW

The apartment was spacious and beautiful with all the required equipment. Just 3 min drive from the city and 6 min from the lake. The cottage had its own parking and a washing machine was a great surprise.

Nothing! It was simply amazing 😍 (Well, maybe some more towel hangers in the bathroom as there was only one but the apartment can accommodate up to 4 people 😅)

What a treasure to find this accommodation. It is well built well designed with a full.kitchen, lots of space, shower with great water pressure. Many little things that made the stay so comfortable like treats, paper towel and cling wrap. All toiletries, soap for clothes washer. We've stay at 40 spots in NZ and this ranks as one of our top accommodations.

Very Clean and easy to access, close to the local township meaning quick travel to shops and restaurants. Super comfortable living area and beds, great addition to have the smart tv and high speed wifi. Lovely stay and will definitely be back again!
