In summer months, the home is a short walk to the public beach at Chambers Landing, known for its pristine views of Lake Tahoe. Visitors can also enjoy the public sandy beach and historic restaurant, bar, and pier at Chambers Landing.
Your home away from home is close to Meeks Bay, with a terrific sandy beach and paddleboard and boat rentals. Located on National Forest Land, the Meeks Bay shoreline is popular for its beautiful scenery, clean beaches, and easy access. The area offers a high concentration of recreation opportunities including swimming, biking, boating and hiking into the nearby Desolation Wilderness.
Ed Z’Berg – Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen, and juniper. Another attraction is the Hellman-Ehrman Mansion (also known as Pine Lodge), a summer home built in 1903. Winter visitors to the park will find over 20 kilometers of marked cross country ski trails and a heated restroom in the General Creek campground.
D.L. Bliss State Park is open to vehicular traffic in the summer, where you can enjoy swimming or scuba diving in the crystal clear water of Lake Tahoe, picnicking, relaxing on the warm sand of Lester Beach or Calawee Cove, and access to hiking the Rubicon Trail, Lighthouse Trail, and Balancing Rock Trail. Lester Beach is a popular location to launch your kayak, paddleboard, or canoe.
You won’t want to miss the icon of Lake Tahoe, Emerald Bay, a short drive away. Emerald Bay State Park boasts 360-degree picturesque views that encompass Emerald Bay, Fannette Island, Eagle Falls, and Vikingsholm Castle.
Just a few miles down the road you’ll find Homewood, Alpine Meadows, and Squaw Valley Ski Resorts. The Magical West Shore has great options for whatever you fancy: snowshoeing, snowboarding, downhill or cross-country skiing, sledding, and more!
Interested dining options? We recommend the Fire Sign Cafe for breakfast and lunch. The local market is convenient for a quick stop and West Shore Pizza is sure to please.
To experience all the gambling and nightlife that the Lake Tahoe offers, South Lake Tahoe/Stateline is about a 30-minute drive.

We chose this house for our annual family vacation that includes family members ranging in age from 26 - 88. Growing up we had a vacation home in Tahoma and wanted to relive the summer experience and fun that we were blessed with for 25+ years. The house was beautiful and location was excellent. The Moana Beach was quaint and the locals and guests were friendly. Our only negative was that the steep driveway hill and interior stairs were difficult for my 88 year old father. In addition, the location of the kitchen on the top floor made it challenging to get the ice chests and groceries upstairs. Despite these challenges, I would definitely return because of the amazing location, view and amenities. If you love the convenience of walking to the beach, floating in the lake this is the place for you. If you don’t want to bring your own food and beverage to the beach, you have the option of walking to Chambers Landing for a cool beverage and lunch.

Love the location, access to private HOA beach.
House well equiped.
Electronics good.
Towels a bit bedraggled.
In the end, only five useful days for an expensive home.

Amazing Location
Our stay here was great. The house was clean and spacious. Although the kitchen was older it was large and very functional with a great selection of cookware. The location was amazing and being able to walk to the private HOA beach was fantastic. We would love to stay here again.

Reviewer Comments:
This lake house was well located and the HOAs private beach was great. The house was mostly comfortable, but has a few quirks. The homeowners desperately need to update the stove in the kitchen, and if not that, at least get some pots and pans that work with the stove they do have. Don’t plan on doing any fancy cooking... you won’t find what you need for anything except super basic things. The furniture in the living room was an odd layout, it’s all turned away from each other, not conducive to conversation or family time. The beds are very firm. All that said, the house was comfortable, gets a wonderful breeze off the lake, and the management company was absolutely fantastic and extremely helpful! The thing we appreciated most, in this time of pandemic, was their cleaning. The management company has a great cleaning policy currently and we felt safe being there. That comfort, in particular, is worth a lot. We didn’t do much around town because of covid, but the house is well located to many activities. We saw some great wildlife during our stay!

Fabulous!
Such a wonderful home! Very spacious home with lots of places to hang out. The pool table brought lots of laughter to our evenings. The beds are very comfortable and the kids loved the bunk beds. The towels were folded very pretty too. This is not a home or neighborhood for loud partying. It is exactly what we were looking for! You could hear the small creek behind the home from the 2 deck areas. The private HOA beach area was nice but it is rocky so bring water shoes. We couldn’t find the keys to the kayaks but had fun nonetheless. Would have liked a little bit later for a check out time but it’s everything you would want for a relaxing getaway!

great stay
Beautiful home that has been redone. Beds are very comfortable. Downside is that master upstairs does not have a shower, so you have to go downstairs to use one of those bathrooms

Quick summer weekend trip
My family stayed over a late summer weekend at this wonderful house. The location of the house is ideal if you like to live in the lake as we do (kayaking, swimming, etc.). It takes about 120 seconds to reach the beach from the driveway. You can also quickly (120 more seconds) walk up the shore to Chamber's Landing for a bite to eat or have a drink at the bar right on the pier.
The house is clean and comfortable. The heater works extremely well. It is also very quiet at night, so you can sleep well. I highly recommend this as a beautiful destination right at the beach.
