We were at The Stables over a weekend. The property is lovely, spacious, tastefully furnished and well-equipped. The surroundings are pretty, with the riverbank only a short walk away. Faringdon is nearby and we visited Lechlade, Cricklade, Hampton and Burford. We had a great time and would happily visit again and recommend this property to others.

A stunning characterful property located on a beautiful farm in stunning countryside. Lovely kitchen/dining area and beds were large and extremely comfortable. Located perfectly within the Cotswolds in easy striking distance of many picture perfect villages.

We had a wonderful stay at The Stables The location of the barn is excellent with uninterrupted views across the countryside. The property is tastefully decorated and very homely and warm. The kitchen was well equipped.
The hot tub took a long time initially to heat up as no one was staying in the property before us, over 3 hours so used lots of wood. Once it was hot it wasn’t too bad to top up the fire and bring it back to temperature. (Mind your legs where the water comes out, it get very hot!)
The addition of the games room was a bonus with table tennis and table football.
I would highly recommend this property as a fab place to stay.

The Stables was everything we wanted. Nice big kitchen/dining room to all gather in. Lovely views. Hot tub (essential for our family weekends away).
Beds really comfortable.
Plenty of parking outside property.

Great spot, great house, so enjoyed it. Peaceful and restful. Great outlook, close to the river, use of the farm land for walking, is a real bonus and enclosed garden for our furry friends is a real hit.

We had a wonderful stay in this gorgeous property over New Year. The furnishings and decor were of the highest standard, beds really comfortable and the surrounding countryside is peaceful and beautiful. Super kitchen, wonderfully appointed with everything we needed. The hot tub was the icing on a very special cake. Thank you

The stables was a perfect base to explore the beautiful Cotswolds. The property had everything you could want for and the large garden was great for playing with our dog or dining and enjoying the sunny evenings.

This accommodation is wonderful for a family. The river at the back and amount of space is wonderful. Beds extremely comfortable and all rooms well equipped.
We will stay again when in the Cotswolds.
Thanks!

Great weekend away. Fantastic property and location.

Our stay at the stables was everything we wanted for a special occasion with our family. Beautiful decor and high quality fittings throughout. Caroline was on hand for any questions. Despite outdoor freezing conditions the stables were warm and toastie! We also used several of the VIP recommendations and discounts. Highly recommend a quiet and comfortable getaway!

A lovely long weekend with family and friends relaxing and celebrating! Loved the spacious kitchen….everybody got stuck in with the cooking! Gorgeous smell from the wood fire and the hot tub was an added bonus! The property was well laid out and the beds are so comfortable. Lovely added personal extras to make our stay more welcoming. Will definitely book again.

Just returned from an amazing weekend away to celebrate my daughter's birthday.
6 adults and 2 beagles and we had so much space, the boys especially loved the enclosed garden and surrounding fields.
The set-up of all of the Camden Farm accommodations is great so much that you don't feel overlooked by anyone. The Stables are tastefully decorated and although we were a little apprehensive about being in a "barn" in the middle of a field - we had the best time. My daughter and her boyfriend even went in the hot tub both nights in November!
The extra welcome tray was much appreciated as was the underfloor heating.
Excellent home away from home - will be back for sure.

The Stables is absolutely beautiful, from the decor to the setting. We have just got back from a week at the Stables and had the most relaxing break. Country walks right on your door step with lovely dog friendly pubs. The Stables is family and dog friendly but has the up scale feel of something that is adults only. The pictures do not do this place justice. 6 adults could easily stay here without feeling on top of one another. The barn where there is a ping pong table was a huge hit with my boys as was the large private and fully enclosed garden with the dogs. Also the wood burning hot tub was a very nice treat. We can’t wait too come back and would highly recommend.

Everything was really perfect, from booking to check-in and of course during our stay. The setting close to Faringdon makes it very easy to get access to grocery, buses to Oxford and so on. Very convenient. Also for a family with teens and younger children, the fact that there was a nice garden and great shared amenities like a small football field as well as the old barn filled with table football, table tennis and other children activities made it wonderful for the kids to have fun all day, even when raining outside.
Great choice overall!

Beautiful setting and great house. Spent most of the time in the kitchen/dinner chatting and playing Uno. Very comfortable bedrooms. Wonderful place for celebrating our anniversary with family and a golden retriever. Had fun in the barn playing table tennis and table football. Husband and daughter fished in the river while i sat and watched with the dog while reading my book. Enjoyed the hot tube and the country walks

Overall a very good break in a well appointed property. The welcome pack on arrival was a nice surprise. Just be sure to take your own loo rolls as these were rationed.

We were staying at Camden Farm for our daughter's wedding nearby and it was so lovely to have the space and comfort of The Stables. The kitchen was well equipped with some lovely touches like the eggs and butter. The peace and quiet was very welcome and we slept so well in the comfortable beds. With the wedding going on we weren't able to take advantage of the amenities, but would definitely recommend this to families of all ages.

Beautiful view and so well appointed
This property was so much better than we thought - and we were already pretty impressed with the photos on the website!
Everything you could need was there, children's plates and bowls for picnics, a hand liquidiser, hairdryer, iron and board, clothes hanger and pegs plus cleaning equipment just in case. The beds are super comfortable and the sheets are so soft! (Off to buy the same ones today!) The garden, hot tub and views were the icing on the cake.
I especially loved the dressing area in the master room, such a wonderful touch.
Walking the dog was so easy from the gate in the garden straight onto the fields at the back onto the Thames path down to a lovely pub on the river. I only wish we had booked to stay longer. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful family stay at the Stables
Recently enjoyed a lovely long weekend stay at the Stables for a family celebration. The location was beautiful, with some lovely nearby walks and pubs, but easily located to drive to other beautiful places in the Cotswolds. The stables is finished to a really nice standard, very well equipped, ample parking and lots of space in the garden for a dog.

Brilliant stay at The Stables
We had a great stay at The Stables.
The location was brilliant, with the river and walks accessible from the property and a lovely garden (with great sunsets). The house was perfect for our group of 6 adults and a dog, with plenty of space - we particularly loved the open plan kitchen. The property also had a games barn and paddle boards available to use which were fun. We met the owners whilst there who were lovely and on hand to help with any queries. Overall a great stay and we would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of booking!

3 night stay - the Stables - Cotswolds
A lovely stay with a well equipped stable cottage and huge enclosed garden for our puppy to run around in.
The cottage was very clean and large comfortable rooms with a lovely breakfast area going into the rear garden.
Location was good with lots of different Cotswold activities within 20-30 mins of the cottage.
Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect everything! Love the interiors, love the space. Love the outdoor, fresh air, amazing beds, can sleep really soundly. Absolutely the best time with friends... We shall be back.

What an amazing place
We had a lovely stay , lovely host and lovely area.
The property is extremely well built, clean and finished to a very high specification, the large open plan kitchen is ideal for a group or family and with each cosy bedroom with their own ensuite.
It was just such a shame we had the recent storms to contend with and couldn't make the most of our stay, but we felt very safe snuggled up in the cosy lounge with a log fire.

Lovely place to stay
The property was better than the photos found online. Very clean and spacious rooms it was well equipped with everything you need when self catering. We had taken extra supplies as the last place we had stayed had not even a baking so we were pleasantly surprised that all needs were met and the food parcel waiting for us when we arrived was most welcome.
The only slight negative was the underfloor heating upstairs, it seemed to take much longer to heat up than downstairs. It being mid January it was certainly needed! (Might have just been me not doing something properly)
Seeing the red kites in the morning was fantastic, not a bird watcher but seeing those was excellent on the frosty mornings.
Overall a fabulous place to spend my Birthday!

Lovely Holiday Home
We really enjoyed our stay at the Stables. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious and the living room perfect too. The bedrooms were smart and comfortable and we found the ensuite bathrooms very good. We would recommend this as a great place to stay! We enjoyed the beautiful scenery and quiet surroundings. The heating was just right. We wanted to stay longer!

Would stay again
We had a lovely week in the Cotswolds staying at two of the cottages on this site. They are in a great location on the fringes of the Cotswolds - just a short drive to many beautiful places. The setting is really nice, a short walk through some fields to the river Thames and great for us as a large family spread across two cottages. The cottage was smart, well kitted out and lovely and warm when retuning from a chilly day out. We would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing break in the Cotswolds
The Stables offers very comfortable and spacious accommodation. It’s very well appointed and we had everything we required during our stay. There is plenty of outside space and it’s located in a very peaceful setting. We would like to return and would definitely recommend.

Beautiful, quiet retreat
Beautiful house surrounded by fields. Perfect if you want to get away from it all but at the same time be only a short drive to some of the best The Cotswolds has to offer (Burford, Witney, Cirencester). House is very well equipped. If I was being picky, I would say that the house would benefit from a proper patio area with chairs (there are tables with benches but they are just on the grass) and some better quality pillows in the main bedroom. There’s no DVD player, but there is a smart TV. Like all loft bedrooms, on warmer days, the upstairs bedrooms can be quite warm and whilst there are fans they are very noisy for sleeping so consider what will help to keep you cool. Overall, a beautiful, peaceful break.

A beautiful, comfortable house
We stayed at the house for one week with three young children in tow. The house was spacious and well presented with great facilities and beautiful surroundings. The added extra football table, army truck with bbq area and football pitch were greatly appreciated by the children. The adults very much appreciated the welcome pack we received!
The only slight niggles I would say would be it could have been cleaner as it was quite dusty and also one of the sofas was pretty tired and out of shape. Also so many clocks and not one of them worked!?
Apart from that we had a fab time thank you.

The Stables
Perfectly presented property for a relaxing break. Great location with open fields well away from any busy roads.
4.8
Excellent cottage although slightly remote
Despite being part of a complex the Cottages all have their own space so it was very peaceful with a very pleasant 10 minute walk to the Thames. The cottage is a very high standard with comfortable beds and is very spacious. However the supply of some basics was limited and could have been improved at minimal cost. We had to buy more soap, toilet rolls, washing tablets, and washing up tablets. We also had to ask for additional cutlery and crockery to avoid washing up continuously. Apart from these minor issues which could easily be resolved everything else was excellent.

A short stay in May
The Stables were a great location clean and comfortable with great amenities. Shame you could not say the same for the weather

Wonderful Stay
Absolutely loved our stay at the Stables. Enjoyed the house, especially the morning sun in the large kitchen for breakfast. The view down onto the river is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are decorated most tastefully and we enjoyed BBQing outside even in the freezing weather. Finally, and very importantly for us, everyone at Stay Cotswolds and at Camden Farms who we spoke to or helped us were friendly, professional and accommodating. Thank you for a fabulous couple of weeks!!!

A great countryside stay
We had an amazing time in the stables during an extended stay in November/December. Beautiful rooms and an amazing big kitchen to enjoy. Everything has been completed with a keen attention to detail, with nice welcoming touches. Would happily stay here again!

Just what we needed
We managed some time at the stables just before lockdown #2.
It was wonderful and restful. Which was a bit of a surprise as it was our first holiday away with our newly acquired dog.
But the stables suited us just fine.

Idyllic getaway in beautiful home
Could not have asked for a better place to spend a week away with the family. The Stables was not only extremely comfortable, but so beautiful.
There is access to a large garden with a BBQ and outdoor furniture, and its a 1 minute walk away from the river thames where you can swim/kayak/paddle board down to local pubs and inns. It's only a short drive to places like the Cotswold Wildlife Park and Blenheim Palace.
Would highly recommend for a much needed getaway. We didn't want for anything!

A wonderful stay
6 of us stayed between Christmas and New year for 3 nights. The property was beautiful, each room had it's own character with very comfortable beds. We especially loved the kitchen which had so much space, the added Christmas tree was a lovely touch. There was a welcome pack of bread, eggs etc which was a great addition. The area was very peaceful and had wonderful views from the bedrooms. The local pub was great and they were very welcoming. We paid such a great price for this stay and we would definitely return and reccomend to others.
