Stonefield house is the perfect place to stay to visit the Isle of Skye with perfect host.

Exceptional place to stay and a wonderful host. Wouldn’t hesitate in recommending.

Best BnB stay we have experienced.

This is an excellent BnB. Attention to detail phenomenal! Rooms are immaculate, extremely comfortable and very tastefully decorated. The host is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Conveniently located. The breakfast was amazing and again the host made every effort to cater for individual dietary requirements.

Best solid sleep in years!

Everything! Best solid sound sleep in years we had. The breakfast was absolutely scrumptious with a personalized breakfast menu to our own taste as well as an assortment of other breakfast add ons that were all included with our stay. Splendid time we had to relax and enjoy our time in Portree. Our hostess was amazing!! Thank you!

Snow...no fault of our hostess though but she offered us a shovel just in case. Thank you for your help and friendliness.

Amazing experience, nothing to envy to a 5 star hotel

The house has an incredible taste like home, the rooms have everything you need and the details on every little thing are amazing The breakfast is really amazing cooked entirely at home by the owner

It was a lovely place to stay.

It was in a quiet residential area. The room had everything you needed and was immaculate. Little touches like fresh milk and water in the fridge. Couldn’t fault it.

Amazing B&B on a perfect location with a perfect host!

Our stay was amazing! Kirsteen, the owner of Stonefield House, was simply lovely! She made us feel very welcome and we had really nice and funny conversations with her. She gave us good tips for dinner and places to visit on the Isle of Skye. Even for places after our stay! Also her daughter was really lovely. Together they made the breakfast a perfect start of the day. Everything what you wanted or needed was available including a fresh cooked breakfast. Our room was perfectly decorated, clean and provided with all the things you might need. Including everything you need to make a coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Even the bathroom was fully provided with soap and cotton pads for example. And the shower was amazing! The best shower we had until so far! Also it was really nice to finally have a shower which is on the same level as the bathroom floor. Like basically in all the hotels the shower is above the bath and that is really annoying. Stonefield House is located on a perfect location! Via a shortcut you are able to get to the centre of Portree within a 5 minute walk. If we return to Skye we will definitely book this room at Stonefield House again!

Lovely B&B Close to Centre of Portree.

We had a lovely clean modern room in this B&B which was located just a short walking distance from the centre of town. Our host was welcoming and gave us good advice on where to dine and places to visit. Breakfast was excellent.

Must go choice!

Amazing place. Best location, close from Portree center but away from the crowds. The owner - Kirsteen - is super-super-attentive and caring, but not intrusive at all. Helped with tons of helpful tips and even tried to help us out with a potential flat tire. Good breakfast and everything super clean and brand new. Potential issue is the noise due to the proximity from the bedrooms to where the breakfast is served, but it has never bothered us and after all it is a B&B and no one should dare to wake up late and miss the opportunity to fully explore one of the most amazing places on earth. As a bonus: a free whiskey waits for you back at the room to relax every evening.

Wow a must stay.

Lovely hosts,wonderful location in a quiet but convenient spot.Ten minute walk to local bars, restaurants and the harbour. Comfortable and spotless accommodation with an amazing hot breakfast. Would highly recommend a stay at Stonefield. Thank you Kirsteen and Ami.

This is an observation and not a complaint. A grab handle and a shampoo/soap holder In the shower Would enhance safety in the area.

You won't regret it!

Location is great : only 6 min to the centre. Room was so beautifully decorated, extremely clean and bigger than we expect it. First impression was amazing. Host is beyond kindness and we felt like home. Good feature is : only three rooms at the first floor : so you have your privacy on the highest level! Breakfast was served at the time we wanted : fresh, good and much better than in other hotels. Internet was very fast : without any small delay/ three of us were looking at the netflix at the same time. I loved bathroom : so clean that I couldn't believe it. A have not enough nice words to explain how people are taking care or guests: amazing job! Wish to go back for longer time.
