We were extremely happy with our stay. The location to town was perfect, our room was extremely clean. The manager, Gordon was a pleasure. He offered restaurant suggestions that were fabulous. We'd stay again if we are back in the area.

Gordon is a very nice person, I liked the kindness with which he treats his guests, he is a person with whom you can talk for a long time. The place was amazing and he gave some good tips for my journey.

Cosy, wonderful location and we loved the hand written note on arrival! Facilities in the BNB (kitchen and lounge space) were lovely and appreciated after a long day of travelling.

I don’t usually leave comments, but my stay at Oronsay B&B has been unbelievably wonderful. One of the hosts Gordon is literally a cartoon character came to life, soooooo lovely and nice!!! Please, everyone, if it’s your first time visiting Skye, listen to Gordon’s recommendation!! He only recommends the best of the best! Our experience on Isle of Skye got ten times better with the addition of Gordon. Really felt hospitality. If you need anything, let Gordon know, he’s got you! The rooms were great too, got everything you need for a comfy stay, the living room is big and clean as well. 5 star review without a doubt!!

Friendly welcome and very clean comfortable room.
Easy walking distance to restaurants, etc
Our host, Gordon , knew all about the island, best restaurants , advised on the sights not to be missed and how to get there.
Ample car parking , very convenient.
Nothing really.

I had a wonderful stay at Oronsay ! The private room was comfortable, and having a private bathroom was a great bonus. The room was clean and well-maintained, and Gordon was a gracious and accommodating host.
The location was also fantastic - it was in a quiet peaceful area and close enough to all the attractions and amenities I wanted to visit. Gordon was very helpful and made it feel like home. The beautiful surroundings, climate, cleanliness, the dining area are all exceptional and we can't thank enough for whatever is provided.Highly recommended !
Nothing, everything is more than perfect

The walls are very thin. You need to be aware of this if you are not used to noise from other rooms and guests at night.
Much better insulation to keep the noise down.

Gordon, the caretaker was absolutely fantastic. He kept the place very clean and tidy and also was able to answer any questions you heard about Skye in great detail.
Honestly, I can’t think of anything

Excellent location. Gordon is a wonderfully helpful host who has great tips on places to visit, best times to go, and things to look out for. It's a comfortable room and if you can stay 3 days in Portree, you'll hopefully catch all the important sites

The room was big and comfortable. Also, Gordon (the administrator) was very nice and it was a pleadure to share with him. Totally recommended.
It would be very nice if they can add a little oven to cook

Gordon, who welcomed us, is the nicest housekeeper you can imagine. He was very friendly and helped us planning our next day with recommendations and public traffic plannings. Thank you. The rooms were very cozy.

The B&B is located in a quiet neighbourhood only a five minute walk from the town centre. The rooms were exactly as shown, the entire place was simple, but very clean and tidy. There's only four rooms in the B&B and it had a very familiar feeling, which I liked. My highlight was the host Gordon! He is the nicest man and was so helpful in getting to know the area, recommending places to eat and things to do. He was so attentive and we were able to store our luggage after checkout and have a nice cup of tea with him until our bus arrived.
There was no breakfast but there's a dining area with a toaster and microwave and a kettle in the room. We were also recommend a great place for breakfast.
I can't think of anything to be improved! I honestly didn't want to leave because I felt so comfortable there!

Location is superb. Like the fact that everything is on the ground floor, making it accessible & convenient for people who travel with big luggage. Gordon is a fantastic host, giving lots of tips for sight seeing. We chose room 3, family room, so we have an extra single bed to plonk both 2 pieces of big luggage.
Would be better if there is a fridge and a kettle in the dining room for guests to use. We have to bring out our own cups and kettle from our room to make our own breakfast. Breakfast is not provided in Oronsay.

Great location. 5mins walk to town center. Hosts(we met Grace and Gordon) were very friendly and very responsive over text. They let us know in advance there are no breakfast at the moment, and we were okay with it. When we arrived, they surprised us with welcome beverage and snacks. our room had a separate door from the main entrance which I preferred. The room is gut renovated and impeccably clean too. I would love to be back again.
If I have to name some area of improvement…The mattress kinda squeaks. It was comfy nonetheless. Also I could hear footsteps and toilet flush sounds from other rooms at night.

The nicest hosts we've encountered, superb hospitality and great room

We were delayed by car trouble and the girls waited up very late to check us in! Also got us extra blanket snd space heater that late! Super close to city center! Also flexible check out!
Parking on site was confusing and awkward. No breakfast as advertised and no reduction of rate.

Grace, who greeted us, was quite nice and kindly made us a breakfast though it was not originally in our agreement. She was kind and pleasant. The view is nice.
Very bad beds (extremely small cheap twins with dreadful mattresses), a shower which was nearly impossible to work (terrible Byzantine controls, NOT the usual UK sort); no temperature control in room; an extremely loud and obnoxious (US noise levels of garbage!) party across the street on Saturday night which went on for hours. Generally cheap furniture and furnishings, which is a pity. Could be nice. Wifi also quite spotty.
