Comfortable bed, good size room, excellent shower.
The refrigerator that was provided was a little noisy.
4.3
Excellent breakfast, staff in restaurant are very pleasant.
Some noise from the road, but not enough to stop us returning.
4.3
Gorgeous pub with lovely rooms, beautifully clean and the friendliest staff
Nothing!

Lovely historic thatched pub with modern chalet-style boutique bedrooms. The room was light and airy with an immaculate bathroom and a good range of toiletries. The bed was very comfy and the TV was a good size.
Dinner in the restaurant was excellent - highly recommended! The menu was interesting and offered a good range of dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed all 3 courses and would certainly go back there for a meal again. The cooked breakfast was very good too! The staff were all very friendly and made us feel welcome.
The car park was situated in the middle of the bedroom complex so we could hear the taxis and cars moving around late at night, especially as the ground was covered in gravel.
Price-wise, it seemed rather expensive but at least the parking was free and the location was much nicer than central Oxford.

The property was very clean and calming to be in. The pub attached to the property was lovely too, with amazing staff to greet us!
There was a slight smell in the bathroom (assuming from drains) and the parking wasn’t very large (but we did arrive during dinner).

Absolutely amazing stay - comfortable room, great amenities, fantastic restaurant but most of all the staff were wonderful, and so great with our dogs. We’ll be back!

Very comfortable stay. The room was clean and beautifully presented, and the dinner and breakfast in the pub was delicious!

Good location for us. Clean. Very helpful management.
Noisy due to proximity to road (we live in a very quiet location).
Pillows too hard for us.
4.3
Very cosy
Price of meals, all quite disappointing….. far over priced
The 2 lamb dish’s was tough and exceptionally salty
The portion on cheese board was small and crackers tasted stale

Lovely pub in a great location with nice food and very comfortable room
Having to pay extra for a refill of tea with our breakfast that was already £15 each🙁

staff were very attentive at dinner. room was lovely but not sound proof. bed very comfortable and room clean.
It would have been nice to have juice with breakfast but you were only allowed 1 cup of tea or coffee included in price no other drink. No itemised bill at checkout as was told it’s just all added to card room was booked on.

The room and bathroom were clean and comfy.
The heating/cooling didn’t seem to work properly. I was most disappointed by the additional cost for the dogs which was not made clear at the time of booking. I would like to know how they justify £30 for my two dogs per night. The dogs added no extra cleaning, did not go on the furniture and made no noise! It would have been a lovely stay but this ruined it for me and I will never go back.

We booked to stay the night at the venue because we had a reunion dinner with friends at Chequers. The atmosphere and reunion meal was good.
The room where we stayed overnight was in a stable block type annex. This was not clear from the booking. The roof was leaking and the room was cold. The breakfast was awful. It looked like the bacon had been cooked previously and microwave reheated. The guy who served us was adequate.

Food was delicious, room was comfy, staff were welcoming
Lighting was insufficient and the electrical supply seemed to lead to flickering lights ( i noticed this in another room i had previously stayed in also

It was immaculate and very new decor. Very stylish, comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom and lots of thoughtful touches. A really great adaptation of some old stables.
