Lovely 'full English' breakfasts.
Quiet evenings.
Large car park.
Convenient location
Lovely shower.
Would like to have known of smaller options for breakfast.
An easy chair in my bedroom (for reading in the evenings).
A wardrobe (though I managed OK with the hooks and coat-hangars)

Nothing !!!!! All brilliant.

Great location. Comfortable rooms.
All good.

The room was clean and the bathroom has good water pressure.
There was no towel rail, so nowhere to dry the wet towels. There was no table or chair so we had nowhere to sit other than on the beds. No breakfast, or dinner included. Nowhere to put our clothes nor store our cases so we had to constantly step over them, which was hazardous.

The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Location and view were really good
Pre-booking food 48 hrs before you actually intend to eat is a bit unrealistic. We were told the bar closes at 7pm.

Serve yourself breakfast in the room worked really well.
Closed at 7 pm - a little later (eg 8 pm) would have been nice

absolutely wonderful very clean and best comfy bed I’ve ever slept in

Breakfast was sparse and we had to eat in our room off paper plates and disposable cutlery but there was nowhere to sit.
No one actually showed us to our room or helped us with our luggage. All the cups and plates etc were disposable and weren’t automatically replaced. The toilet was on a different level and the room was actually quite cramped. Very poor for the amount that we paid.

The couple were a good pair for the business & the food was exceptional. I'd been coming to the Dales since being a kid in the 1960s & remember the pub & it's fellow hostelry the Craven Arms well. Breathtaking view of fields & forests from our first floor window at the front of the pub
Nothing comes to mind. Pub hours varied but with another similar cosy pub 250 yards away what's not to like? Bar a bit noisy when locals in but landlord has to look after his bread & butter regulars.

Gorgeous property- massive rooms with lots of lovely extras. Sarah was amazing with our requests too.
Only thing to make it better would be to offer a cooked breakfast! Although the continental selection was really good.

Spacious, comfy room. Amazing bed!
Beautiful views. Really quiet.
Lovely little touches in the room such as selection of tea and toiletries. Felt luxurious.
Was on the expensive side for this type of accommodation.
Would say food in the bar/restaurant was a bit overpriced too, but nice to see a few vegan options.

Fabulous English style breakfast set us up well for the day, hot, well presented and very tasty.
Nothing, thoroughly enjoyed the meal

The view from the room was gorgeous. Upgraded room was a good size. Lovely window seat. Sarah was so helpful and friendly.
Plenty of choice in the DIY breakfast. (We didn’t opt for the cooked breakfast due to cost.)
Ample parking.
We paid for an upgraded room (over £100 pn) however it was not equipped with basics you would like/expect at that price: a wardrobe to hang clothes (only a coat stand in the corner with hangers), or a television (which is nice to have to relax in the evenings when there is nothing else to do close by.) The mis-matched furniture was comfortable and adequate but noticeable.

position
no tv in room & pub shuts early

The location, views and room were very good.
Staff were nice.
The pub closed very early and was not somewhere to sit and have a drink at night after a day's walking. The pub stopped serving meals at 7.30 and you had to book in advance specifying what you wanted.
Breakfast was continental . We would have preferred a hot breakfast and would have expected it to be included in the price. No TV in the room.
