Breakfast was very good and location excellent

The food/restaurant in house were excellent. The breakfast in particular was very good . The staff were very welcoming and helpful and the location was perfect for Barnstable. The room was very comfortable, but a little small, but given the cost I cannot complain

Floor above was very creaky when people in that room moved around, which seem to be throughout the night.

Staff were brilliant

The staff are very friendly the restaurant next door is nice and the location is great. Had a fan in the cupboard which was appreciated

The downstairs is all nice but my room was very dated with lots of wear and tear, no socket by the bed and when searching for a socket all behind the bed is full of dust so looks like never gets a complete clean, which isn't particularly nice sleeping next to, bed was a bit hard, didn't have breakfast cos at £15 plus £5 extra to the room think that is to much. For the price of the room I think it could have been nicer but the main thing that I didn't enjoy was the level of noise could hear people running above my room a lot late at night, and in the morning no chance of a sleep in as the cleaners hanging around bashing around outside the room hoovering chatting very noisy.

Location. Clean and well presented. Good decir in public rooms.

A fantastic hotel that had real charm to go with its up to date furnishings. We very much enjoyed our stay here and would love to use this hotel again.

Getting our bags from the carpark to our room was an effort, but a minor inconvenience, and a trade off against the hotel's location, which was excellent.

Clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Nice breakfast in the morning.

Had a noisy kitchen vent right outside our window, but it did shutdown about 10pm. Was able to use the hotel carpark, but was very tight. Wouldn’t like to be late in with a larger vehicle.

location was excellent, staff were great , friendly, helpful, and the restaurant was excellent, lovely food. We would recommend staying here to all looking for hotel in Barnstaple.

The location is perfect, and they also have a carpark.

Don't stay in room 301, all night you could hear the constant buzz of a generator, once you hear it you can't unhear it. Kept us awake all night.

Friendly staff.

Would have been good if there were options for a light / small breakfast.
