Food was nice.
Our room was advertised as quiet street view, They gave us a room down stairs without a view. The street was noisy and our room was right next to the restaurant and reception area which was very noisy from very early in the morning to after midnight. We also had not screens around the windows and doors which called for a mosquito net over the bed. The mosquito net was dusty smelling, had a yellow tinge to it and was covered in blood spots from I presume squashed Mosquitos.

The room location and little verandah were fabulous looking out across the pool and distant rice fields. It was beautiful and quiet, comfortable and the staff were very friendly and so helpful and good to talk to
Nothing really.

The nicest villa we staid during the trip!
3.5
Great staff, food was terrific. Pool was a little too opaque for me to swim. Our rooms after the first night were very nice. After our first night we were transferred to new rooms and staff were so helpful
Our first night rooms were horrible. No safe, no TV, no bracket for shower head and no water until morning. It is obvious that there needs to be regular maintenance to fix a myriad of minor things
1.5
Friendly staff, good location and good breakfast
No electricity in the afternoon, a lot of dead animals on the walls and on the floor, poor hygiene, cockroaches found in the kitchen, bedroom unclean and mosquito net not functioning as full of holes

Room quality and facilities are not worth the money.
4.5
The service was impeccable! Super friendly and helpful. The rooms were large, beautifully decorated and the environment like in the movies… spend very nice days here.
2.5
- very noisy at night
- help never came for the internet
- food was not removed at night

The room was neatly kept
The toilets were stained. they could have been kept better.
We did'nt get most of the free benefits promised while booking the place
we were charged 2% more than what we booked it for.
3.5
Good location, swimming pool, nature, staff, apartment in Bali style with panoramic windows.
Old hotel with a lot of small issues inside the apartment. Pure wifi. Some photos on the booking portfolio are not real or very old.

The room didn’t have windows and we closed with wooden shutters.
The sheets were super stained and the room smelled of mildew.
5.0
location, room (very spacious), pool, cleanness, kindly staff, quiet
maybe more variety of food for vegetarians would be great, and smoothie bowls with granola for breakfast would be nice 🙏

After an oppgrader from a room with loud music outside and a dirty shared kichen to a room that was a little Balinese paradise, the stay become beutiful.
I dident like staying in the first room I got. Loud music from the resturant and nois from the kichen, a sink that where leking and a toilett that dident flush and an dirty shared kichen.....
4.5
nice place near ubud, really nice staff and people there. the villas where we stayed were at the end of the garden, right next to the rice field.
the roof was a bit noisy, when it rained, but over all it was really good staying here.

we came back after some days and styed in the other room. it was nice too, the place near Ubud is calm but not so far by quick ride. The rice field view was ever better in this room.
there was not a whole wall between outside and the bath room, which can be strange for some people. you have to count with lot of insects and lizards, as it is located in the garden. but it was really nice

Tranquility, quite, and beautiful settings
When we arrived they gave us beautiful villa kayu room upstairs which was so hot, even we had fan and ac turn on after we decided to jumped into swimming pool. Our wifi, which is very important to us due to our working arrangements, didn't work.
They tried, but took awhile till they figured things out. After I spoke to the manager he offered me to switch the room which is very nice gesture. The room also appeared a lot more similar to the one that they advertised on booking.com, that I booked.
Everythings seemed good, till we looked around and figured things out.
Our headboard was broken with both of the screws poking out, seems dangerous to me. The glass windows was broken and they put tape on it. Our tv, somehow never did work. And my last day after swimming, we didn't have running water in our villa and they said it will take a little bit, but instead it took almost 3 hours.
I addressed it, when I went up for breakfast and they seemed surprised and I needed to explained it again to the staff.
If you booked breakfast included, make sure ask them which one is included or not, they didn't specified that on their menus. We did ordered americano on our first breakfast, it was included but the next day the staff told me I needed to pay, and addressed that to the owner for the inconvenience. They waived it, because it was missed communication. Some meals are included for the free breakfast but some aren't, make sure to ask.

Peaceful atmosphere and very good staff. Rani is pretty and among the best staff of all.
Lizards all around. In my bathroom, saw creepy creatures, reptile, lizards etc. Made me very uncomfortable while taking bath/shower or doing routine procedures in washroom. It was very annoying.

We stayed for 6 nights. 3 nights in one place and 3 in another, since in the fist one there were two kid around who were very loud especially in the morning. The stuff was very nice and they let us change the room. The breakfast is nice, but pretty limited. There are several nice restaurants nearby.
The wifi is not very good. The change of the room took two hours even though the room was ready. I had to go several times and recall them about it. The stuff is very sticky and they always want you to buy some tours or overpriced taxi from them. The shuttle they provide is not very nice, I used it once and had to wait for more than 40 minutes for the driver to come (and call 3 times!). So I did not use it again.

beautiful property with a lovely, traditional Balinese feel. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast was simple, but completely delicious. Proximity to central Ubud was great, not too close to be busy and noisy, but a simple 3 minute drive in.
The pool lounge area is very small, and doesn't get a lot of sun. We stayed in the Bamboo house, which was super cozy, but the lighting was very bright white, and it could use some more decor to make it feel a bit more inviting. The outdoor washroom was lovely, but might need a bit more roof for when it rains.

The stuff was really helpful and friendly. They did their best to make our stay wonderful. It is the best place we have stay in all our Asian trip.
We will come back for sure 😊

There was a magical quality to Gusde Tranquil Villas. The accommodation and garden are very beautiful. So much love and hard work have gone into this accommodation. The staff were sooo friendly and professional, especially the manager Wayan. I also met the owner Gusde who made me feel calm just talking to him. I can see why this place has such a good energy. The buffet breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Cute restaurant, great location. Ideal for solo travellers, couples and groups! :)
No complaints. Everything was done so well.
