The pool, the privacy, the Seaview, the location.
Would have liked a more comfortable sofa to sit on with the family.

Loved the villa, brilliantly positioned close to the marina. Ricardo was an amazing host, very accommodating and pleasant.
Just a small thing, the pool was a great size but sand kept appearing in it. We did have some very windy weather but other pools in the complex were not affected as much as ours and I wonder did it have anything to do with the neighbours private artificial leafy fence...

Sea view , spacious villa , quietness
Pool needs some TLC , broken tiles , dirty walls . A cover would be beneficial to stop the sand gathering in the pool overnight
Some champagne flutes and larger drinking glasses would be a nice addition . Also corkscrew not useable but we managed to find a way into the wine !

Excellent villa and a great location for all the facilities and restaurants.
Just a short walk to the marina and shops.

The villas are very well located and have the benefit of using some of the hotel facilities also especially the pool. Marina Rubicon and the choice of restaurants, shops and the promenade walkway are exceptional. I highly recommend Villas Volcan for a stay in Playa Blanca. The host Ricardo is a gentleman and very helpful. We will be back at the earliest opportunity.
The beds were a little hard and uncomfortable.

The location was fantastic, lovely restaurants and a short walk to the beach. We had a sea view villa and will definitely be returning. The perfect holiday for us with an added bonus of the hotel next door, great entertainment in the evenings! Friendly and relaxing, would definitely recommend booking.

The sea view villa was in a great location, felt private but close to the marina for amenities and restaurants, etc. The pool and outdoor area had the sun all day and there was plenty of space for us to relax indoors when we needed a break from the sun. Beds were comfortable.
Decor needs updating in some parts of the villa (I understand this is being done from April 2024).

Access to the Volcan Hotel
I have rented villas in Puerto del Carmen, Puerto Calero & Playa Blanca. I generally prefer villas for the general privacy, my child’s security & private pool-side relaxation. I have never seen anything as bad as this place. I stayed in villa number 2. An always open main gateway leads directly from the external public footpath immediately onto a public laneway that fully overlooks the entire pool area of villa 2. All that separates you, your children, your possessions, from total strangers on this public laneway is a two-foot-high wall. This main access gate and laneway is shared by the guests of approximately 10 other villas in the development, and worse still, any member of the public that would simply like to use this lane as a short cut. On check-in, when initially shown our villa, I immediately knew it was unsafe, too open to the public and provided zero privacy, so requested a change of villa while offering whatever additional money to make this happen. Ricardo dismissively told me that this is it, no others available, you can make a complaint in a review when you leave. All of this took place during a heated discussion immediately on arrival in front of my wife and 6-year-old son after a day long journey and a €1,000 non-refundable payment paid upfront. If your idea of a villa rental is sitting by the poolside in the Lanzarote sun, having a barbeque, relaxing with family in a safe, secure and private environment then don’t choose these villas. We were forced to make the most of it, which meant staying off-site for most of the week OR when actually in the villa, locking the doors and drawing the blinds. I compare sitting outside in this villa to what it must be like for an animal in a zoo. A constant stream of strangers filing past and staring at you! Horrible experience! I warn all families with small children, who seek some private relaxation in a safe, secure, private, peaceful environment to avoid this place.

Fantastic location. Our villa was the end one overlooking the sea and with a very private pool. We had everything we needed, yes it needs updating but it was still fantastic! The pool was the perfect temperature and we had the most relaxing time ever. 5 minute walk to all the great restaurants and bars too!
Nothing.

Lovely villa, next to the hotel.
A bit far out- lots of walking to find anything. Difficult for older family member who was with us.

property was great value for money - clean, spacious,
and like having a private villa in a 5 star resort.
location is in a beautiful part of town, and within a long
but doable walk to Papagayo. Property manager was
great and hotel staff were very accomodating!
we spent 5 nights in puerto del Carmen prior to this -
we wish we had just stayed Playa Blanca in the
villas our whole stay instead.
nothing.

The villa was great. Very spacious for a family of five. The living and kitchen areas were comfortable and well equipped. The patio/pool area was lovely - loved the pool (cold! - but that didn't bother us). Washing machine in a separate area was really useful, The location was really quiet and peaceful which was perfect for us and the 20/30 minute walk to the beach/town along the sea was nice. The nearby marina has plenty of places to eat and drink. The market was enjoyable too. We didn't use the hotel facilities though it looked great - think more suited to couples/adults than families. We will be back! And yes, Ricardo is as nice and welcoming as everyone else says!
The beds were very uncomfortable! While normally this would be an issue, because everything else was so great they made up for it, and wouldn't stop us recommending the villa or put us off coming back.
