Surprisingly nice stay and great value. Great location. Highly recommend when staying in Apollo Bay.

Having not stayed in a YHA for nearly 40 years we were blown away at how nice it was. Room was plain and simple but very comfortable, and the shower and toilet facilities were also great. Nice kitchen and eating area. Great location too.

Sign saying kitchen not open until 7:00 am was not helpful when having to leave earlier. But door not locked so we used it, but did try to be very quiet.

Great typical YHA experience

Stayed for long weekend as a family of 4, kids age 8 &10. Great cheap and cheerful typical YHA experience. Bunk room comfy, shared bathrooms clean, good kitchen and lounge facilities. It's not a luxury hotel but a great alternative to staying in more expensive self catering accommodation when you're mostly going to be out and about. Kids felt welcome.

Excellent accommodation choice

Clean and well equipped bathrooms, excellent range of equipment in the kitchen, large room with balcony, friendly and helpful staff. all I could ask for really.

In winter, the hostel seemed to be very quiet and there was lots of space for everyone to hang around. The 4 bed female dorm was warm and the beds were comfy.

This hostel delivers on what it needs to - an affordable, clean and comfortable place by the coast. Superb location. Quiet. Large kitchen and lounge areas.

Private room, comfy bed, heater, fan, balcony with fresh air, great pillows, lots of blankets for warmth. Staff were lovely. Kitchen was good. Fire place was so nice! Couches were comfy and huge. So close to everything we needed, walking to food. Didn’t need to use our car at all when staying there. Other guests were quiet and lovely too!

Well run Youth Hostel

Simple and clean double room. The shared bathroom was new and very clean. We enjoyed our one night stay here and would stay here again.

There were a lot of flies in the room even though we kept the screen door closed all the time

The guy on reception charged us for towels and then we found 2 complimentary towels in the room.

Great for a short or long stay

Its modern , very well equipped kitchen facilities and lots of lounges and places to relax . Great Wi-Fi and very clean modern bathrooms . One street back from the beach and restaurant's

It was a pleasure to stay here - clean, quiet and modern.

Quiet location, but still very close to the main street and there is an amazing restaurant directly opposite. The facilities are clean and modern. The private room I booked was more like a hotel than a hostel. It had a view of the bay, a balcony and at the end of the stay I didn't need to strip the bedding like most hostels. Would absolutely stay again!
