Everything was so relaxed and comfortable.
Room was a standard double and the bed was very comfortable. The room was described as cosy but ample room to access both sides of bed and walk around. Bathroom good Size and shower spacious. We didn't feel at all claustrophobic.
Great location and wonderful breakfast.
Brian and Lorraine were so welcoming .
A bit hit and miss in Budleigh Salterton for eating out. Most places closed , although vuaured 16 to 20 July, or only open specific times. Check online first and reserve tables.

Brian was very pleasant and friendly
The rooms were very dated. Shower was grubby. Disappointing front of hotel as its on a housing estate. Very dated reception area. Not really a hotel more of a bed and breakfast

The hotel was a nice size. Very cozy but with lots of space. The couple who ran it were very welcoming, friendly and open about sharing their knowledge of the local area. They gave the impression that they genuinely enjoy getting to know their guests and we were very grateful for their hospitality.

Shower in bedroom 1 was the only thing that let the whole thing down, but wouldn't put us of coming back because everything else was so wonderful.

The breakfast was hearty with the choice of fruit juice, fresh fruit, cereals and a full breakfast. However they were very accommodating and would adapt to your personal requests. The staff and proprietors were welcoming and so very helpful and friendly making it a home to home experience for everyone. The hotel was a fifteen minute walk from the seafront and town, and was located in a quiet peaceful area with some wonderful views.
