Well located spacious apartment, with lovely host. Fine for a short stay; could do with some up-keep

Location was good Spacious apartment with two toilets / showers Good WiFi, and Kitchen well equipped, including kettle and toaster Louisa was an excellent and helpful host who communicated well and allowed us to leave our bags at the apartment early, as we had an early flight. She also gave us some helpful tips about grocery shopping / patisseries etc

Noise on the Saturday night - which we knew about from previous reviews. Better fitting windows and shutters may have helped. The fixtures were a bit flimsy, (for example the shower head vertical bar), and could do with some up to date general maintenance. We couldn't get all the hob rings to light.

Superb

Huge flat on fantastic place in the centre of Lisbon.

All was all right just some things a bit old. But for that price it was perfect.

Disappointing

We were a family of 8. All the kids are grown ups. The apartment was clean and acomodate us all. The location is central. There is everything in the apartment.

For us it was too central and very noisy all night long. The appointment has everything but not in a very good condition. We are very unspoiled travelers so we managed no problem but we didn't enjoy the apartment. We were walking all day, and arrived very late to the apartment just to sleep. We needed to choose between the strong noise of night life and some air in the room. We were there early October and it was still hot with windows closed. No AC and only two fans for 4 rooms. The apartment is a bit strange with the way it is built. No window in one room and no window or fans in both of the bathrooms. Everything feels like if you touch it it might break. Some of the things are broken or about to be broken. We slept in 6 different places during our 15 days touring in Portugal. This apartment was the last one for 3 nights. We gave amazing feedback to the others. This one was not great for us.

Great value

the locating amazing!! the apartment is very big and comfortable. we are a family of 6 and had LOTS of space. the only down side is that it’s on the 4th floor, but its worth it.

Exceptional

The location was absolutely excellent. The host was very nice and friendly. perfect breakfast place next door and a nice small kitchen with all the necessary facilities in room.

Only problem was no ventilation in the bathroom and not enough hot water as the apartment is for a family.

Nice environment seems to be at home 🤗

Everything was almost perfect,nice view reminds you that you are in holiday

Need a little change those sofas are old and uncomfortable could be changed and please there was no lights in upstairs other things are like a real home I will chose again This apartment thank you 😊

A big comfortable apartment in the heart of Lisbon

The location is fantastic, in the heart of Bairro Alto, 5 minutes walk from the subway and waliking distance to most attractions in Lisbon. Also the train stations to Sintra (Rowsio) and Cascais (Cais do Sodre) are pretty close. The space was ok for our two families (4 adults and 3 kids. One of the rooms was very wide with a private bathroom and a cabinet for clothes. The other 2 rooms were less spacious but adequate for a stay of a few days. The bathrooms are not very big but clean and well equipped. The living room is wide and has a great view of the sea and the roofs around. The table is perfect for 6 people, but we managed to have meals in 7. Each rooms has air conditioning, which we did not need to use though. The host was very nice and spoke a perfect English. Check in was fast and simple, check out was even simpler (we left the keys in the flat and closed the door behind us).

We just report 2 issues which are not meant to be negative comments, but a warning for future guests: 1. The flat is on the 4th floor and the stairs are quite steep. No elevator. Not a problem for most people (and for sure not for us, actually we enjoyed climbing the traditional stairs of the building), but some guests might consider this as an issue if they travel with elder or impaired people. 2. The road in front of the she can be noisy at night, especially if you occupy the bigger room or sleep on the sofa in the living room. It's mainly trams and other vehicles, but you will not be able to sleep with the window open. The situation is much better for the other two rooms.
