served a purpose for our travels

walkable to town,parking at rear

bathroom shower went all over the top as fauty,,had to use the spay handle,,,rust around the toilet cupboard,,sink was blocking up

Not a Hotel!

Location and price..you get what you pay for! Room size was fine..

No human contact over 5 days .On arrival I checked out the kitchen..it was filthy..dirty dishes in sink, fridge was very dirty..no milk ,tea or coffee as stated in booking. Bedroom..sheets were clean but the pillow had a sour smell.I bought a pillowcase for my own comfort. Throughout my stay the towels were not changed and room never cleaned. The place should not call itself a Hotel...is more Air B&B without any service.. I couldn't recommend it....

Would definitely use again if/when I return to Cambridge

Clean, great location for the railway station and a 15-20 minute walk into town. Easy access and a tea/coffee pantry with a vending machine.

Very very bad

I did not like anything. It was horrible to stay here because they did not clean the room before we stay. I saw hair in everywhere, dirty towels used by the ex guest, full of bin….

I did not like anything. It iş a big regret for me. I just stayed on the chair all night because it was impossible to put my hand on the pillow used by the previous guest

Qualitat-preu molt correcte i adequat

Instal·lacions molt noves, molt ben cuidades i molt netes. Habitació molt gran i espaiosa, ben il·luminada. Tot i no estar al centre s'hi arriba amb molta facilitat caminant 15 minuts. Zona molt tranquil·la i silenciosa.

En no haver-hi ningú la comunicació si tens cap problema no és fàcil. A vegades hi ha algú però no sempre.

Buena relación calidad-precio

Habitación muy amplia, con una cama muy cómoda y el acceso mediante pin hace que sea muy fácil acceder al alojamiento sin necesidad de hacer el checkin en el mostrador.

Quizás el único pero es que el baño era un poco estrecho, pero todo lo demás estaba bien

Unfair fine for broken online check in system

The online check in system was broken. We attempted to call the property multiple times but the phone just rang and rang. We were then fined £50 for not completing the online check in. Now no one is answering the phone when we try to call to query this erroneous fine. Definitely avoid staying at this property.

Very easy self check-in. The room was very compact but had everything you need for a short stay. The whole place was very clean.

Reasonable stay close to the train station

A nice simple stay right by the train station and not too far from the rest of Cambridge.

Not much cooling for such a warm day, there was hair on the floor and the apartment hadn't been vacuumed properly, and the bathroom is incredibly tiny.

Very clean, but too pricey

Our room was spacious, very clean and in a very good condition. Big windows allow a lot of light in. The location is good, it takes around 15-20 min to walk to the city centre

With all the good qualities of the room it's quite overpriced. However, everything is more expensive in Cambridge. The bathroom was very small, the sink was right in front of the toilet, so when you sit - there's a sink in front of your face. In the morning the kitchen opened late, 8:15 instead of 8

Very good

Location is nice an central to the train station, ARU and cambs shopping areas.

Only issue I had was that the shower was place really high up and would spray over my head - so I had to hold it and shower, which was kind of annoying.

Amazing place for a short stay in Cambridge

Location was great, staff very fantastic and very easy accommodating. Very clean and modern and comfy bed

location! easy walk to and from the train station even with a case. walkable to city centre. lots of restaurants on Mill Road plus few supermarkets. room was large, spotless and comfortable. recommended.

nothing really. i guess lots of rooms in a large house but no noise. we had a double room at rear, number 11. I’d stay again .

Very clean and tidy near to the centre of Cambridge and very close to the railway station

The shower had no pressure but the hand held shower worked but obviously I had to hold it

Very central location, decent size room.

Quite noisy from traffic and upstairs guests, a lot of light through the windows at night made it even harder to sleep and the front door was unlatched 80% of the time, so security is a bit suspect. Someone tried to enter my room in the night, without success, fortunately.

Clean, comfortable room in a good location just be prepared for a very small bathroom

Clean, comfortable room and the hotel is in a good location. The online check-in and key code access worked and parking instructions spot on.

Possibly the smallest bathroom in the world, couldn't use the sink with the door closed. The lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room, coffee only available downstairs from 8am Bedside lights didn't work, raised on day 1 but not fixed, and one bedside "table" was missing.

Cambridge House is a clean, extremely well-maintained hotel

I'd like to thank the young lady who welcomed me to the hotel and showed me to my room which was conveniently located on the ground floor. I was offered a cup of tea and this was much appreciated after a hard days' work.

I wasn't aware that there is a vending machine to buy drinks and snacks but this was out of service anyway. I can't claim this was a disappointment because I wasn't aware of its existence.

Good location, business travel-friendly

No frills hotel for a great price, good for work travel. My room was quiet despite being right near the train station - good location to reach anywhere in central Cambridge. The room was nicely decorated and comfy bed.

The rooms need deadbolts or chains that can only be operated from the inside. As a solo female traveller, this would make me feel MUCH safer. As it was, anyone with the code could have entered at any time. Also, what is this bizarre boarded-up door situation in my photo 😅 gave quite a creepy vibe just outside my room..

Very clean, fine for work related stay, better value for money a few months ago.

Room is very clean, very functional.

Actually I think it is getting a bit expensive for what you get, previously this room was around £50 which I think is fair, but now roughly 70 is quite steep for such a basic room.

Pleasant

The location was ideal for my purpose. Close to train station. The staff were doing their best. Certainly could do with some training but considering this was a guesthouse not a hotel, it was fine. It should not have been advertised as a hotel, though.

1) They were not very flexible with changing my booking dates upon request. 2) Initially, I requested a room on the ground floor, but it wasn't until I got there that I was told sorry we gave your ground floor to someone else. 3) Extreme noise from the building next door, drilling through my wall, hammering, and banging. This was all whilst I was having an important work call conference. 4) No fridge, kettle, tea, or coffee in the room.

Exceptional

I needed to stay in Cambridge for a couple of days - this place was great location wise and was exactly what I needed. The room was exceptionally clean, towels & toiletries were provided and the bed was comfortable. The WiFi connection was really good, so much so I was able to work from my room for one day without interrupted connection. The staff were friendly and I received regular text messages each day to let me know when I could receive complimentary refreshments.

I had to ask for the WiFi password - it would have been useful to have a laminate on a notice board, just in case a member of staff wasn't available to give this to me.
