Very lovely hosts, great room and breakfast and a pool table in the library.
We all had a great stay and hope to return next year.

Perfect host. The interiors of the renovated old house has been tastefully done - giving the house a character. Our lovely room faced the fields with grazing sheep. Walking distance from village centre and train station. Welsh scones smilingly provided on request.
From all our stays in the interiors of Wales, this was the best - and there is nothing I did not like about the property.

Ardwyn located in a lovely quiet little town, ample on site parking for guests. Received the most wonderful welcome from Roger and Katie, fresh coffee and freshly baked brownies. The house was decorated immaculately and it had a wonderful homely feel to it. Room was spacious and sparkling clean with a well appointed en suite. Breakfast was faultless.

Breakfast was nice, good, tasty. Liked having proper butter for the toast, always better than those frozen so called butter pats. Their options were flexible. You do have to wait a long time for it to be cooked but if you have the time thats ok.
The whole house is beautiful and true in its arts and craft ethos - we liked that.

Everything! The warmest, friendliest welcome we've ever experienced while staying in a B&B. A hot drink and cake also awaited us on our arrival , which was ready in the library once we'd unpacked.
The bed was so comfortable, we had the best sleep away from home in a long time. Breakfast was cooked to order, delicious and very filling. Lots of choice too, cereal, yogurt, berries, local honey and homemade marmalade, aswell as full English. The views from the room we were in were lovely. A pool table to use if we wished, a small bar with a honesty box and if you're a book worm the library has lots to choose from. Homemade cakes and brownies each afternoon with tea or coffee. Choice of tea, from herbal, fruit or decaff.
Kettle with a range of tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room.
Bathroom had toiletries in for us to use if we wished, shampoo, shower gel. Shower was lovely and very powerful.
A very short walk to the pub for an evening meal. A shop open until 10pm, again a short walk located opposite the pub.
The knowledge that Roger has about the area was brilliant, lots of recommendations on where to visit.
We really can't recommend Ardwyn House enough. We will 100% be back for another visit.
Thankyou Roger, Katie and family, hope you found our thankyou card and gift
There wasn't anything not to like.

The owners made us feel very welcome.I particularly enjoyed the old world charm of the place - the parquet floor , the snooker room was very atmospheric. Breakfast was of very high quality - cooked to perfection. I appreciated the high quality table cloth - quality crockery and cutlery. Our room was freshly decorated clean and quiet .You exceeded our expectations and we would be very happy to stay with you again.

a very unique and pristine house, that is only a short walk to the local pubs and river walks. We loved the ‘town’ . Roger and Kate are such lovely welcoming people and we had a really delicious breakfast. A perfect stay.

Roger was very friendly and welcoming. It was nice to be offered a pot of tea on arrival (and to be able to sit in the garden and enjoy drinking it). My room was spacious and comfortable. The house is an easy walk from the shops, pubs and restaurants.
It was all good.

Everything was superb, better than any B&B I have stayed at in Wales over the last 45 years. Finding decaffeinated tea in the bedroom is great and shows the attention to detail given by the owners to their guests.
I would struggle to find anything to improve.
