The view outside the cottage is stunning., extremely beautiful at sun set. Matt and Caroline are very friendly host and provided everything we need at the cottage.
The wifi signal are not very stable, reading news is fine but cannot use it to streaming videos or transferring files. However, there are lots of DVDs in the cupboard. There is no phone signals at all, but that's not a problem at all.

The friendliness and generosity of the hosting couple was outstanding. The scenery and gardens were an absolute delight. The cottage was beautifully appointed and helped us relax in a ‘home away from home’ atmosphere.

The location was tranquil and beautiful. Wonderful cosy cottage with the surrounding gardens and countryside a delight. Soon forgot about the hustle and bustle of everyday life with a glass of wine in front of the firepit.
The beauty of the property and location was only bettered by the wonderful warm welcome received from Mathew and Caroline. They were always at hand to assist with any queries or suggestions to make our stay a special one.

What a gorgeous little find! We stayed here as we were visiting Eisteddfod Yr Urdd in nearby Llanymddyfri - and WOW! It was PERFECT! The cottage has everything you’d need and want for a self catering stay. The house was perfectly clean and tidy with beautiful artwork throughout. The cottage is surrounded by glorious gardens and Matthew and Caroline were incredibly knowledgeable with their stories about birds and wildlife nearby. We were lucky enough to spot a Woodpecker! We will definitely return to visit Kilsby Cottage when we have more time to enjoy it’s beautiful surroundings without the hustle and bustle of Eisteddfod competitions!

cottage was in a great location, lovely country sites, loads of places to walk as well as being a not to far car ride for a local small shop or to travel a little further for activities.
we understand the cottage is self catering and that's great, but I would recommend perhaps keeping basic condiments in the kitchen for guests.

We had a perfect six night stay in Kilsby Cottage. It is set in a private and peaceful location with stunning views over a valley. The cottage was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. The owners Matthew and Caroline live onsite and are very friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The cottage is only a mile away from the town of Llanwrtyd Wells where you will find a very well-stocked shop next to the petrol station and several places to eat.
There was nothing not to like. We loved everything about Kilsby Cottage and hope to stay there again one day.

The location and cottage itself are amazing, very welcoming hosts! Definitely recommending to take retreat in the cottage and have quiet time away from all the noise!

This place is amazing such a peaceful place to stay the accommodation has everything you need the town is just a stone's throw away the hosts are brilliant and they really do all they can to insure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable very nice people we hope to return again in the summer

What a wonderful, peaceful place. Hidden away in a beautiful part of the world that we've never visited before. The views from the cottage are incredible and you can just head off walking straight from the door. The cottage was perfect - super clean, really well equipped, lovely and warm and we felt really comfortable and at home. The hosts are lovely, welcoming people who obviously take great care of the property and the beautiful gardens surrounding. We loved watching all the birds visiting the feeders provided too. Cannot recommend Kilsby Cottage highly enough. We had a really relaxing stay and hope to return.

The cottage was lovely, very well equipped and beds were super comfortable. Cottage is very remote, but this for us was a positive as this is what we wanted. Even being remote, there are plenty of things to do within a reasonable drive.
We had some day trips out to Aberyswyth and Merthyr for various things but also spent some time in some of the local villages and nearby walking areas.
All in all was a lovely time, hosts were very pleasant and accomodating and were only too happy to help if we had any queries or questions. Highly recommended if you want a nice relaxed quite place to stay with stunning views, but still able to get into a few towns and villages for cinema and restaurants and any such thing.
Nothing, really enjoyable and no issues for us as a family whatsoever.
A few narrow and tight roads to enter and exit the property, so maybe if you are a nervous driver who does not like tight rural lanes, then it may not be the place for you.

Lovely cottage in a great location. The cottage is very comfortable and is a perfect base for exploring the area, walking and cycling. The hosts were very welcoming and were always happy to give us tips on walks in the area.

It’s just perfect! The surroundings beautiful..so peaceful and relaxing and at the same time so much to explore. The garden around the cottage with most amazing flowers..the birds and wildlife. The owners makes you feel so welcome ...we had amazing holiday ,will definitely return and recommend ☺️.
