I like the architecture of the hotel, in that it is open, and trees were not cut down, but rather built around. It gives it a "one with nature" look and feel
Breakfast a bit on the expensive side and portions on the small side.

A nice natural oasis in the middle of the busy city! Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby! Very close to the airport!
All good

Cute hotel, amazing staff

Very nice place and waiting areas are like being in a natural habitat.
Very comfortable beds and near Torre Del Reformador and other interest places.
Booking should get a larger portion of this hotel rooms. I became aware upon arrival that they had more rooms and we had split the family into 2 different groups because booking said "sold-out".

We had a one night stay because we had an early morning flight. We received a very warm welcome and the staff we very helpful in arranging our airport transfer which turned up spot on time. The room was plenty big enough the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water and room was very clean. The choice of 2 restaurants opposite was a bonus.
Nothing but a tea or coffee making facility would be good.

Quiet and pretty courtyard with lovely plants. Close (walking distance for us) to excellent museums and various restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful by arranging a friendly ride to the airport at a much too early time in the morning. We would stay there again if in Guatemala City!

Great, safe area in Zona 10, decent breakfast, great staff, and a small bar for guests. My garden room was quite and comfy. My friend and I walked around the neighborhood one night, watching fireworks and finding a very fancy Penthouse restaurant/bar. with Two wonderful restaurants are directly across the street from the hotel. One is a lovely, upscale Guatemalan Heritage food Restaurant, and the other does more affordable crepes, tortas, and smoothies. I will stay here again.
I didn’t “not like” anything.

What a little gem...trees, hanging orchids, comfortable bed and close to an AA club, amazing donut shop and the best crepes I have ever had restaurant. Take some time to walk to the university and check out the museums.

I have repeatedly asked: WHY they don't have towel racks is the bathrooms? They have one small towel rack, across the bathroom from the sink, for a hand towel to dry your hands after washing. They have room for two towel racks to hang your bath towels. Why do we have to leave our wet towels on the bed or hanging over the shower curtain rack? I have never understood the logic of this. It also means that they have to wash the towels every day, instead of re-using them the second. In a city like Guatemala, where the aquifer is drying out, why do they not let us re-use our towels by hanging them up on a dedicated towel rack????????

The hotel lobby and common areas were really pretty. The room was larger than I expected. The staff was very helpful. They were able to satisfy every special request that I had. One evening one of the staff even walked with me to a nearby restaurant to make sure I got there ok. This part of the city is very safe, or so it seemed to me. There is a good restaurant directly across the street serving a mix of Italian and French cuisine, with some new style flair. I would recommend it also.
I was surprised that there was no AC in the room in a tropical location! However, that said, they provided me a big fan and the temperatures were great even though it was the middle of summer, so I didn't really need an AC, which is probably why they don't have it. It was plenty cool enough at night to sleep, though maybe not at the 66 degrees F that I generally prefer.

All was great !

The property is in a nice area. I liked the unusual design of the building. There was plenty of hot water and the pressure was good. The omelette I had for breakfast was great, but breakfast wasn’t free.
No free breakfast. Check in was slow.

I love that in this hotel, each room is entered from a courtyard garden. There are no stuffy hallways and fresh air everywhere. The staff is excellent and so friendly.
The rooms lack little details which make guests more comfortable. For example, it was cold and there are no extra blankets in the rooms...which made it very hard to fall asleep. The bathrooms are extremely small, so it is more important than ever to include things like a hook on the door to hang your pj's, and a rack for each of the two towels...there is only one small towel rack available. I also had to ask for a bottle of water for the second occupant. These kinds of things feel a little bit stingy and I am sure this is not the impression the hotel wishes to make.

location, staff was friendly
room wasn’t clean, mold on bathroom walls. Very loud. At one point from desk called us to ask us to be quiet. We were watching tv at a low volume. we turned off the TV and it seemed the entire hotel was partying. That was annoying. Acoustics were such that very noise carried.
