It was nice and relaxing

Kitchen in room with all things needed. Close to sea and town. Staff friendly nice cooked breakfast

Bed was slightly hard and uncomfortable but I do have bad hips so for others could be ok

Cannothow this property gets such a high ra

We only wanted a simple breakfast which was provided buy the owners which was good.

I read the reviews but nobody seemed to mentioned two main complaints.1/ The hotel is near a busy road and the noise is very intrusive especially when your trying to get to sleep.2/The stairs leading up to our room were challenging when you start to descend especially when your elderly you have to be very careful and this should be more prominent in the information on this property.3/The room we were in was very small with tired decoration and furniture.

Great value for money, perfect hosts and would stay again

Best thing about Steam Packet is the hosts. They are very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is great and very good value.

Mark was very welcoming and an excellent cook breakfast was great, we would definitely come again.

Exceptional

It was an excellent choice for our trip to visit family and friends in the area. The breakfast was great, it was also very useful to have self-catering facilities in the room. Arleta and Mark are very welcoming and friendly.We will definitely return.

Stress free comfortable stay

Very welcoming and helpful hosts. Spotlessly clean and comfortable room with a mini kitchen. Great breakfasts, with a good vegetarian option. A well stocked bar with an interesting selection of ales and ciders. Public transport options are very accessible with bus stops just outside, and the railway station is two minutes walk away. A pleasant short riverside walk takes you to the town centre.

Mark and Arleta were perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. We really enjoyed our few days away in Littlehampton, and will certainly visit again.

Excellent location opposite a bus stop and a train station but still with river side views.Owners were very friendly and helpfull

Littlehampton itself was quite than I expected but I was told it picks up in the summet

A perfect stay, lovely room, great hosts, ideal location, will stay there again next visit.

Everything was perfect. Room exceeded expectation. Hosts were exceptional. Location was ideal for me.

Very good place to stay while exploring the attractions in the area.

Good location e.g. easy walking access to town centre, swing bridge, riverside walk, beach. Bus stop for 700 & 12 bus very near. Excellent and ample English-cooked breakfast and also cereals available. Very friendly staff.

Minor point - regular good coffee and tea provided but no decaf tea or coffee provided; no shampoo provided.

I'd be very happy to stay again if I'm back in the area

Comfortable room and bed with a nice view. Very amenable host. Considering the room is above a pub, it was never really apparent especially when bedding down for the night.

A great place for a short break - a pity we were unable to spend any longer there.

It was great to have kitchen facilities in the room - a very pleasant surprise and much appreciated for making snacks and keeping a few bits in the fridge. We had a lovely view of the river with some beautiful skies and sunsets and the room was well furnished with a comfortable bed and roomy bathroom. Mark and Arieta were excellent hosts, kind and caring. The breakfasts they provided were excellent too!
