Beautiful location great staff
Water was not hot in shower

Breakfast was freshly cooked every morning, was great😊
The only improvement would be the to improve how much hot water is available for a shower.

Sehr hellhörig, besonders in Poolnähe.

Love these little shacks by the sea. I always stay here when I’m in Amed.
Central to a lot in town (within walking distance).
30 second walk to great warungs on the beach & magnificent views of Mt Agung for sunset.
Friendly staff & super friendly resident cats.
The laid back vibe of these shacks is perfect.
Cold air con is great & bed comfortable.
Nothing I didn’t like

The pool was lovely with very easy access to the beach. We enjoyed the breakfasts sitting by the pool in the shade. Nice warungs on the beach next to the property. The garden was lush and shady and afforded privacy. Gorgeous views of Mt Agung at sunrise and sunset. It was an easy walk into Jemeluk where there were more trendy restaurants and cafes and music bars. Beach was clean and the water was so clear.
The bathrooms needed a bit of TLC and the rooms were very dark but the outside veranda with day bed was very welcome.

The location was good, it was close to the beach
Lights didn’t work, doors didn’t lock and the staff weren’t very friendly

Tynde trævægge i hytten
Megetsimpel morgenmad
Virkede slidt og forladt

Beautiful green premises, large bungalow with garden view and patio. Perfect location, next to the beach, my dive centre, my fave massage spa in Amed, good warungs, supermarkets. Friendly staff. Beautiful friendly cats. I loved my stay and extended twice! The management can easily organize trips and help with laundry, bikes, or else.
I have booked a Bungalow with garden view through booking.com, but upon arrival I was given a standard bungalow (considerably smaller). The management said this is the booking they had received from booking.com
I showed them the price I paid and the photos of my booking and they moved me to the place I had booked, after the first night, because it was busy upon arrival. I appreciated their swift care in addressing this, although I was basically downgraded for the first night. I have addressed the case to Booking.com to find a solution for the first night which I had paid for a larger bungalow, but despite a first operator who understood the error, the second one dismissed my case stating that I was finally moved to the accommodation I had booked - true, but only on the second night of my stay. I should have been reimbursed the difference from booking.com. I did not expect booking.com to disregard such error, due (according to the hotel management) to booking.com's wrong communication of my booking. Very disappointing.

Bungalows were very sweet! Large rooms & big beds. Personnel was nice a very helpful. Pool wasn't huge but very nice.
Beach access for several good spots to eat & tables for sunset drinks.
The sea salt harvesting area was kind of dirty and not picturesque.

Beds were comfy and mozzie net over bed is great, nice garden ambience and right on the beach
Air con not working well so room was horribly hot, not their fault, but crazy barking dogs much of the time, would not swim in the pool as very cloudy and clearly not as clean as it could or should be.

Direkter Strandlage. Freundliches Personal. Schnorchelausrüstung kann in der Unterkunft geliehen werden. Fliegennetz über Bett und kleiner Kühlschrank.Viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Supermarkt und Restaurants zu Fuß erreichbar. Gute Drinks an der eigenen Strandbar.
Keine große Auswahl beim Frühstück. Jedoch sehr lecker.

The location and vibe of this place was great! Right on the beach, fabulous pool, staff were very helpful and lovely.
The bedding in this room wasn’t great - pillows were mouldy, mattress a bit uncomfortable and felt dirty.

The location, the pool, the beach bar. There was also a lady who was farming salt which was lovely to see. Staff were very helpful, even helped me plan a suprise birthday breakfast!
The atm near the property was out of money and the next closest was quite far, but the helpful staff offered a lift for me to get there. The room was not soundproof, I would describe it as a modern museum of every sound you’ve ever heard at once.

Bed was comfortable
Too noisy, staff not helpful, basic breakfast, no blanket on bed , no fridge in one of our rooms .

Very traditional. Close to restaurants and the beach.
A little dusty due to openness. A little noisy with scooters and local dogs barking in the wee hours.

Amazing location on the beach, beautifull garden and bungalows. Found a few bugs in our bed but nothing unexcpected. Toilets are a little weak, making me wonder about the rest.
But the beach access made it amazing
Proximity to main room making it very noisy but we got a great price … guess it explains why.

Excellent place! Nice staff, good food, beautiful pool with sea view, excelent location. And the beach is nice, with some good restaurants. I also recommend diving with the guy, dive shop named Dive With Jim, perfect experience!

Literally on the beach, lovely staff, cosy villa, mosquito net on bed, back drop of Mount Agung which topped it off for us . Oh and excellent food and chilled account of guitar on evening

The place is as the photos indicated, I like the traditional houses and the settings overall. It’s actually what we preferred instead of those modern establishments. It is well-built with wooden parts that gives it a rustic feel. The location is great, being on the beach and quite central in the Amed strip. We opted to rent bikes to get around but walking is doable still. There is a salt farm in the premises which was quite nice to see, the lady explained the process so that’s educational for our kids.
The 2 ladies in the kitchen were the only ones that are nice and helpful. One of them also helped with check-in. Too bad the rest of the staff ruined the experience for us.
I travelled in a group of 6 and took 3 rooms. Room 3 was with a sea view. It was ok but right next to the kitchen/reception area where the staff get together and talk so loudly between them. The noise woke us up early every morning when they cook and chat away. One young girl screamed behind me when I was sat having my breakfast, to call her colleague who was at the beach bar (far away from the breakfast area) to let him know some people have arrived to check in. That was quite a morning jolt.
The staff needs training on hospitality. They’re quite young and you could tell they were only there to get their paychecks. Through my conversation with my group, I found out that the staff were extremely friendly with my western family, but I was treated like a mere local that doesn’t deserve the same treatment as the rest of my group.
We rented 3 bikes from the staff (our mistake). They over-charged us and after we made a deal they said we have to return them in the afternoon (which makes it a 6 hours rental). We said 1 day is 24 hours. They insist we have to pay even more. We settled on returning them in the morning. The next morning the guy with the golden chain came and barked at us, saying we are already 1 hour late in returning them and we had to pay extra. He then demanded that we give the keys back, which I did. We just woke up and he was so aggressive and treated us like criminals. I asked if it was necessary to talk to me in this tone, he was surprised that I called him out on his attitude. I guess it was normal for him to act that way. Again, maybe because I’m local?
We were going to stay another night but decided to move along considering the staff’s attitude.
Room 6 & 7 was in the garden area, quite ok although we were only provided paper thin bed sheets as blankets. Didn’t help that the ac units are pointing directly to the beds.
It’s quite noisy in the night time, you could hear the traffic, dogs and people talking all around.

My little bungalow was gorgeous, with a view of the pool and the sea. The beach is a couple of steps away. The staff were wonderful and helpful. It’s a beautiful place to stay.

Nice and cosy garden, run by a very friendly family, close to the beach, rooms are simple but very practical with a very nice terrace to the garden…
The pool is very nice even though the picture promise a bit too much.
Breakfast variety is a bit minimalistic… especially for children…

Location ..close to restaurants and bars on the beach , snorkling with the tropical fish is a 10min walk down the beach..and the room was comfortable and clean .
Walking distance to Supermarket with ATM, Spas, local Muso Club with pool tables .
No Coffee and Tea making facilities available in the room

Breakfast included a lot of fruit.
The location. Nearby restaurants and beach.
Flexibilty from the staff.
Unique rooms.
The first days we had room 10, near the entrance. There was a lot of noice from the street. Motorcycles, dogs, people, etc. Difficult to get a good night rest.
Room 4 was much better. Quit and you could hear the oceanwaves. Very nice!

authentic beach villa experience. rooms were great, rustic. location was excellent, right on the beach and close to convenience stores, restaurants etc. liked it so much we extended our stay.
had to change rooms from the detached poolside villa to a semi-detached garden villa when we extended our stay. unfortunately, the garden villa was very noisy overnight from drunk neighbours, traffic and barking dogs.

The design is good
I rent 2 night at superior room with sea view. But the view not really can see the view, because faced by plant. And my terrace face to kitchen which is public space so little bit noisy. And the water heater can not work!! I was complaining with staff since day 1 but dont get respons. in day 2 they just reach me out and they were offering me to taking shower in another room because the staff already going back home :\ SO I DONT HAVE hot water for 2 days stay. And WIFI is SO BAD

Beautiful location, pool and garden.
Sadly, dogs barking at night.
