I liked the pool, the breakfast, the location, the spacious room, the staff, how quiet it was and the bar area.
Needs vegan options for breakfast. Also when using the pool it would be good if someone could let you know that a class will be starting soon and that you'll have limited time using the pool.

Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast good

I usually stay at Premier Inn, but thought I would give Holiday Inn a try. The room was smaller than expected, a little dated, curtain ripped, the TV wasn't that good, its a shame because you can stay in boutique hotels for roughly same price and they are so much nicer decorated and have a warm feel to them. That said the bed was really comfy and I had a great nights sleep. The breakfast was fantastic, could not fault. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Think I will stick with Premier Inn.

Walking distance of Spinnaker tower and Docks
Ample parking even though we had to park on the road the permit through the hotel was £5 and really quiet street
Ali on reception was really nice
Games in the lounge area for the children
Family room was brilliant and spacious
The double bed in our double room was really small it wasn't a normal double bed and definitely not adequate for 2 adults.
Breakfast was okish but the orange juice was just awful it wasn't even squash level and the pastries were dry.
Short staffed in bar left people frustrated

This hotel is well located to visit the Maritime Museum and the historic downtown of Seaside.
The beds were comfortable and we were lucky to secure parking in the hotel's parking area.
It is a short walk to restaurants in Seaside.
Breakfast was ok.
The weather was warm in July and although the hotel has A/C, you cannot adjust the temperature setting and it was much to hot for our liking.
Check-in was very slow, there was a long line of people waiting to check in and only two young staff members who were slow.

Location was ideal for what we wanted. Pool facility was.fantastic, as was the breakfast.
Parking was difficult.

Location is good, sea view was nice.
The breakfast wasn’t the best. Rooms are small but adequate.
6.0
Swimming pool and friendly helpful staff at the gym reception. Clean reasonably comfortable room with good sea view.
Tiny bathroom and luke warm shower (other guests in the lift also said the showers were luke warm. Basic breakfast I think fruit salad would be a healthier option to provide. The price has gone up by almost a third since I stayed there less than two years ago so it was better value for money before.

Top Lage, Swimming Pool und Sauna sind vor Ort kostenfrei verfügbar. Gutes Restaurant.
Unbequeme Betten und teilweise unhygienisch. Keine Klobürste auf dem Zimmer.

Location was good, not in the town centre so quieter, but close enough to walk it. Right next to Portsea common, and on 3 bus routes, so an easy walk to the shoreline. A solid 3 star hotel.
I accidentally booked an accessible ground floor room which meant noise from men revving their car and motorbike engines outside the window. Also a weird stain on the curtains that just need to be changed for minimal cost.

Decent size room with sea view & A/C. Good location.
Breakfast was pretty average. All OK but just adequate.

- Great location!
- Decent breakfast with gluten-free and dairy-free options
- Nice swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna
- Could store the luggages safely with them after arrival and before departure for a while.
- We asked _specifically_ for a *double bed* room. I am quite certain I clicked this while booking. The receptionist pointed out to me that it was not the case. Unfortunately my booking.com reservation also agreed with his point. I was and still am very confused. I left a response to booking.com, never heard back. Great going, booking.com!
- They could only provide us with twin-bed rooms (even if they bumped us to executive room -- which I didn't care much for).
- They had a really dusty/dirty fan and another machine (which was on top of a chair for some weird reason).
- The cleaning crew only made the bed of my partner because my laptop was on mine! :-O
- Insanely ridiculous prices for what it is. We had to take it as it was one of the last ones available.
- The receptionist kept pointing out that he was right (and in my opinion hinted that we should be happy for the 'executive room'). But it wasn't helping my case as I was (and still am) genuinely surprised as to how they didn't get it that we asked for a "double bed".
- Overall I wouldn't stay here again.

The staff were very pleasant,
We asked for a twin room with a shower, First room had a bath, second room had a small double bed, The third room was ok but small.
The restaurant was really busy waited a hour to be served our starter ,only two staff working the restaurant.

The staff were fantastic and so helpful. Love that there was tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits in the room..
The pool that was advertised was really not very clean.

The breakfast was good.
The room was basic for the price. The shower/bathroom was not that clean. The spa area was really unclean, hairs all over the floor and it had a bad odour. The spa is very outdated. There's no changing rooms. Showers in the spa area were dirty. Considering there was a member of staff around, didn't seem to be doing much for the cleaning and the hygiene

Breakfast amazing
Our disabled room great size and lovely touch to have water to use in fridge as mum needed to take tablets and I didn’t bring drink , wonderful place
Nothing all lovely for my family and grandchildren played a game while we had food so it wqs perfect

Excellent location, great connections to public transport and easy to find. The room was decent and they were nice to respond to requests promptly & GREAT BREAKFAST!
Staff shortage! The breakfast staff were over burdened. I felt rather bad for them and I won't complain about what was amiss as they were doing their best 😊

Spacious as booked a premium room. Hotel staff were friendly and the breakfast and dinner menu were good too

Firstly value, secondly bed comfort thirdly great breakfast if a little shambolic regarding the staff..

All was clean and nice modern
Hot tub wasn’t working and it was one of the main reasons we chose the hotel

The staff were extremely helpful. Also I had a query regarding my bill and the office staff were also extremely helpful and sorted out my query.
The only difficulty I had was a query on my bill but that was soon sorted out.

Breakfast ok nothing exceptional.
Room cold. Bed very uncomfortable and mattress badly stained. Coffee machine broken. Chair stained.

generally ok, the room was looking quite shabby and would benefit from a modern upgrade
the condition of the main room was shabby.

Car park not large enough.

It was satisfactory
I was on the ground floor room no 4, the emergency light kept making a horrific sound, I went to reception at around 23:00 to tell them that I was woken up by the sound but by the time we got back to room it had gone off, so it was as if the man didn’t believe me. It then went off again at 3 o’clock in the morning and again at 5 o’clock. I managed to get a video of this horrible sound. Luckily when I got up for breakfast I managed to show a member of staff this sound to which my reply was, ok il let maintenance know, when I handed my key card back I then showed the lady behind the counter and the only reply I got was sorry about this il put some points on your IHG account, which hasn’t been done either. I definitely won’t be going back to another holiday inn.

Room was a good size with comfortable bed. Nice big shower cubicle.
No mini fridge in room. Had to dodge the water leaks and buckets in the spa
7.0
It was clean, nice having the pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Has a gym too but I didn’t use it. The bathroom looked like it has been redone. Breakfast was amazing and most of the staff were kind, approachable and helpful. The lady who seated us for breakfast made an extra effort to get me some paper so my daughters could make a homecoming banner for their dad who was returning from deployment.
Looks a bit tired, could see wallpaper peeling in some parts. The staff member manning the pool desk was quite abrupt, on her phone, chewing gum. Pool still had 15 mins to closure and she rudely interrupted sauna session to announce pool closed at 8 (despite we having already discussed this on entry) leaving the door wide open. There was also a a few buckets collecting a leak in the pool reception area.
6.0
The gym , sauna and swimming pool although tired were more than adequate.
After booking in and opening a tab as we intended to eat in the restaurant, when we did go to eat we were shown a hand written piece of paper with about 6 items on. This was all that was available with no explanation as to why. We ended up going out to find somewhere to eat

Great location close to sea front, Old Portsmouth and Gunwharf. Facilities much improved in restaurant and bar area since our last visit. Friendly reception staff and decent free WiFi.
Net curtains in our room were badly ripped. Not a major issue bur first impressions count. Pillows were very poor.

Good location to walk to local shopping and attractions .quite hotel even although busy with parties etc.comfortable bed, would stay there again.
The only issue was the position of the soap dispensers at an awkward height.

Friendly staff especially a lovely lady called Ania who worked front of house on the breakfast shift - she was an absolute star and joy!
Lovely interior aswell.
The swimming pool and changing rooms were quite cold.

Room was good and location was perfect.

Staff very friendly, clean, modern and good facilities. For it’s class an excellent offering. Our children particularly enjoyed the pool and the restaurant was better than expected too.
We asked for interconnecting rooms for our family of 5. The rooms were quite small but i feel this was reflected in the price. As we only stayed 1 night it wasn’t a problem for us.
