Rien

Lovely staff, great quality vs price, we went there during the winter and the room was always warm. The hotel did everything to provide us with a good stay. Wifi was great, breakfast altough small, was also amazing. Speciall the eggs and coffee. We def recommend
Nothing to add here, really.

Easy to find, good location, close to Euston, friendly staff, quiet room, very small and basic but everything you need for a night or two base in London. We pretty much showered and slept and left so not a huge use. We were on the ground floor and I feared it would be noisy but it was fine.
Room was very hot, but fortunately could open the windows as we were on the ground floor, not sure about higher up. Still pricey for the room, I know it's London but £170 for one night, the most basic room really. Only one bedside table on one side of the bed. No hand towels in the bathroom only 2 towels for showering. Not a big deal but could be better I guess.

The room was a little small but adequate for our need. The breakfast was lovely. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
The shower ran slow, however we all manged to have a wash.

Location
Friendly staff
Friendly and reasonable breakfast
The rooms were located on the fourth floor, top floor, with extremely steep narrow steps. They were like broom cupboards: one step out of bed, into the minute bathroom, a tiny washbasin and no shelves. No room to swing a cat.

Fantastic stay, really great value for money. I travelled with my 3 daughters, and we shared a quad room which was super comfortable. Breakfast was great, and kids under 12yrs eat free (which, happily, was all of mine). The staff were really lovely, and everything ran smoothly. A fantastic option if you want to be close to Kings Cross but still quiet.
It's not a 5 star hotel, so there's not the extra touch of ALL the fancy little details, but it's perfectly adequate.

The staff of the kitchen crew were incredibly helpful to me. The location is wonderful- and near the Russell Square Underground station.
I had a very narrow bed in a small room. This was ok for me - I am short. But it would have been difficult for a large male. However, the hotel warned me about this in advance.

The hotel is situated walking distance from the British Library. My room was very nice, very clean (newly decorated?), and so was the bathroom. Good breakfast. Excellent staff (especially the ladies in the breakfast room.
No lift/very narrow stairs, BUT you would expect it in old British houses :) The bathroom was nice and quite big, but the shower was a nuisance. It had a strange shower head, probably to save water, but in my case it did not work: the shower took me twenty minutes or so (instead of five), PLUS washing myself under trickling shower was only annoying and not pleasant. The water was nicely warm, though. Also, the shower curtain was rather short and the floor was badly levelled so much of the shower water went straight into the room! You could see that the floor around the bathroom door had already been ruined by the water!

It was more than I expected.
A lovely family run hotel

Less than 10 mins from Euston Station in a very nice location on a quiet street
I requested a soft mattress and it completely met my needs
The room was tiny for the price
The door lock was quite tricky (mentioned to staff on checkout
The room definitely needed an expel air because it was such a small room
There was a really bad ‘lip’ between the room and bathroom which I tripped up on so I placed a towel across the space so that it didn’t happen again (very dangerous!) Photo below
I wasn’t able to switch the overnight lamp off and had to loosen the bulb
I booked this hotel as it was advertised as being in Camden but it took me 40 mins to walk there. If I had looked in more detail I would have seen in the description that this was the case

Really helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was very good, and the hotel is close to the underground allowing easy access to visit the London sites
The breakfast room is small and both mornings we were sat opposite the food so constantly had people around us whilst we were trying to eat

I really like the cosiness of the accommodation and it is ideal for where I’m travelling to

It was near major attractions.
A bit too compact.

The location is good for travel to London center and Camden market.
The bath room is small and there is no airco in the room.

Location is great!
The rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly.
On ground level there is noise from the underground during the night and the rooms are very basic and small for this price.

Fwiw - I am a solo 38 yr old female with a mid range budget , travelled Europe in 3 star hotels and needed to book last minute after getting off the euro star last at night . I’m not snooty but I work hard for my money and travelled from Australia , I want my $$ to work for me. This was a rip off if I wanted breakfast if still have to pay 10-13£ ( can’t remember the exact price) .
First impression when booking was nice , photos make the room look clean and bright. The street frontage is nice too - the rest is all down hill
Location to kings cross is good.
Hotel is old and run down.
Room standard very low , no water pressure difficult to completely wash shower gel off , toilet broken and kept running after flushing. No aircon .
Up on third floor which is so far up there are so many stairs and the staircase is narrow. Difficult to manoeuvre luggage up and down. No lift.
felt unsafe lots of solo men boarding there , for a young solo female it’s not suitable.
Beds are horrible, can see and feel the springs when pulling back the sheets, bed covers were stained and not washed.
I checked in around 11:30 pm after attempting a shower and dealing with the pathetic water pressure and the general feeling and quality of the hotel I checked out and didn’t go back.
I spoke with the night staff who were friendly but offered no help when I said I couldn’t stay there.
Called hotel next day to rectify and possibly seek at least half of my payment refunded I was told to email , which I have , twice.
So far I’ve had no response or follow up.
This is a very over priced hotel , more like hostel conditions.
I’m not being picky or difficult when wrote this review , just my impressions and thoughts on the whole experience.
I would like to speak with the hotel owner/manager further about this, given I have emailed and called with no successful response.
Cleanliness, the standard of facilities is low , more 2star and hostel type accommodation

The location was great and when I checked in, the woman at the desk was welcoming and helpful. I interacted with someone from the cleaning service and she was also accommodating and pleasant. There was instant coffee in the room which I always appreciate. They do offer breakfast, but I didn't try it.
The room was very small, and I could hear everything that was happening in the hallway and the room next to mine. The water temperature in the shower was also a bit inconsistent.

Location
Tiny room for the price of much larger ones elsewhere. WiFi was not working the day I checked in. No air conditioner or even a fan.

Excellent location, delicious breakfast, charmingly decorated rooms. I would stay again.
Some staff members were really quite rude, sometimes to the point of it being comical. Breakfast service was chaotic, eg you had to ask for tea but the first morning, I had to ask for it three times and then finally got it five minutes after I finished eating. The second day, I gave up and just got juice. However, these were minor issues.
