I had a great time at Harvey's guesthouse. Nicholas and Robert were welcoming and attentive. The historic building and antique decor added charm, and the breakfast with fresh croissants was delicious. The vintage family photos in the breakfast area created a nostalgic atmosphere. I already miss the hospitality of Nicholas and Robert. Highly recommended for a memorable stay.

Arriving at Harvey's Guest House was so welcoming and especially lovely after a long drive. The night porter, restaurant staff, cleaners and management were all fantastic. The room too was gorgeous and clean. The house is also central and only a few minutes walk from the city. I had an appointment to attend early in the morning and management was incredibly obliging of my needs regarding this and I am incredibly grateful to them and everyone on the whole team for looking after me during my stay!

The staff was wonderful and helpful. The breakfast was very good and children eat free with paying adult. We recommend this guest house to anyone.

I received a very warm welcome on my arrival. The man who checked me in was lovely and even got my bags from the car. I was only staying for one night and arrived late and left early .

We loved the welcoming of all the team ! Everyone was very kind and smiling with us. Breakfasts are fabulous and really not expensive !
Our room was on the street side and without double glazing, it was quite noisy. No wifi available, even thanks to the password it did not work. The room as a whole was nice with a small downside for bedding.

It was very clean and the people were very nice
The double bed wasn't that wide, for a couple it's fine but for a group of friends it's pretty cozy

very friendly people, loved the ambience of an old family home.
a bit shabby, bed was a bit uncomfortable, room for 4 was just enough. upper floor.

The staff was incredibly friendly. They were always there for any questions. Through their suggestion we have had great experiences ! The breakfast and the location were good. Everything is reachable by walking / public transport. All in all a great place to stay. We did not miss anything.

Really nice and cozy place in a nice old style house. The receptionists were really nice people, always ready to help with directions and recommendations of places to eat and visit. I really enjoy it there and would comeback for sure.
The bedroom was cozy and with good accommodations and was good to have there at my disposal the water heater for a cup of tea or coffee
Nothing to complay. It was even over my expectations

Great location, close to airport and a lovely, older house with character, staffed by efficient and kind people. Comfortable beds and decent shower.
Wish there would have been a heated towel rack in the bathroom--I love those over here in Europe!

Visited Dublin for the Marathon so wanted somewhere reasonably priced (£75 per night) and fairly close to the start/finish area. If you want the Ritz book somewhere 10 mins down the road and pay extortionate prices. Harvey's is clean and tidy with absolutely superb hosts. Very welcoming and friendly. Extremely helpful. WiFi available and worked for me unlike other reviews I read despite being on the top floor.
Thanks a million Nicholas
The interior is quite dated and could do with some upgrades to spruce it up a bit but not an issue. There is a lot of road noise. Sleeping the night before a marathon is impossible even at home but I would have struggled here if not running. Possibly something to look into but it is a capital city and you'll always get noise at night.

Harvey’s is fantastic find in the heart of Dublin !!
It’s steeped in history and has a unique style … it was peaceful in the evening and the bed very comfortable. Also it had a handy parking space for the car which was very handy and the hosts were great. On returning to Dublin I hope to stay again !!
Thanks for everything!! Stephen & Marta ✌️
