The location is very convenient for visiting Masada, and the staff suggested a late check out as it was Shabbat and I had to wait for evening for a bus after visiting the site. Coming back to a shower and the pool after a very hot morning on top of Masada was a delight! The Friday night meal was delicious.
The bathroom could be a little cleaner and whilst the room was serviceable a little bit of colour or art etc wouldn’t go astray.

Awesome location. Clean refreshing swimminingpool. Complete breakfast. Nice reception. Simple but good room.
Very, very noisy when buses with students arrive at the Hostel. For me it is ok when staff uses guest facilities like swimmingpool. But then they should blend in like proper swimming outfit, no eating in the pool, no playing loud music.
There were used Tuna Fish cans in the hallway. Strange.

We had a great one night stay at the hostel because we wanted to walk the snake trail for sunrise, the room was big with 3 bunk beds and 2 single beds. We arrived late, but just in time to have dinner (extra costs) which is served until 8.30 in a buffet style, everything was delicious. In the morning we took the trail, and returned for breakfast around 8.30, breakfast is served until 9.30 and was delicious as well. After that, we enjoyed the pool until we left around noon. The hostel is located just at the entrance to the snake trail in the middle of the desert.
All good!

Great location near ein gedi sights and especially Masada, super good value, amazing pool! Good breakfast with plenty of food and spacious dining room. Friendly staff. Would love to stay here again.
It could be a little cleaner but definitely adequate.

location at the base of Masada Park, a few meters of park entrance, ideal for the snake path at sunrise.
every room has 5 beds, but the price is not adjusted to number of guests, so we felt price was expensive for two guests.

Great location for a hike to Masada and travel to the Dead Sea. Big choice for breakfast, clean comfortable rooms.
Quite expensive for a hostel.

I rate the accommodation as a youth hostel! It is not a 5 star hotel. The hostel is well managed. Very helpful staff at the check-in. The rooms are functional. It has a pool. The location in the desert is unique. Personally I think it is a nice hostel. Clean, lots of parking. Also, you can hike from there to Masada early in the morning to see the sunrise. Me and my group (was there with 18 people) were very satisfied. Really a good youth hostel.
I had a misunderstanding with the front desk regarding dinner. They refunded the money on my credit card within minutes. Again: Staff was very accommodating.

Very good hostel. It is the perfect location if you want to climb Masada in the early morning.
Very bad management of noise. There were some kids staying in the hostel that made noise all night long. Was impossible to rest. This is not acceptable, specially in a hostel that promotes to climb the mountain at 5 am (before sunrise).

I like the proximity to Masada and the fabulous breakfast.
I am very sad that they stopped serving dinner. The price stayed the same, but includes one less meal. The area is remote so it is important to be able to eat in the restaurant.

Good location, next to Masada. If you want to see sunrise at Masada , this hotel will be your best choice. Also not far from Dead Sea as well !! Staff is friendly ! Compared with other hotels in Israel , this hotel price is reasonable and super clean.
Breakfast is great too .
If I come back to Dead Sea next time , I definitely will stay at this hotel again.

Amazing hotel. They let us check in early as our room was ready, which was a big plus! The facilities are amazing, beautiful pool, good sized room and clean and breakfast was great! The location is amazing at the bottom of Masada.
We didn't have a car and only used the public busses which were easy enough. The staff at reception also helped us to book our bus to Eilat 🙂

The pool in the midst of the desert - that was our wow-effect! Thanks to the Massada Mountains right behind it stayed cool (but never cold) despite high day temperatures. It was not a 'simple youth hostel' but a great hotel with very nice large rooms, a fridge, separated shower, toilet and water basin in every room. Breakfast buffet: super!!!! It is the only hotel in Masada, surrounded by the desert and mini canyons landscape - what an experience to sit on your big veranda at night and listen to - nothing! Quietness. And look at the stars. We used also the free outdoor fitness park on the grounds of the hotel, at night, always well-illuminated. Great starting point for an early morning Masada tour, via cable car or by foot. You save the traveling time because you are already there!! An extraordinary place!
