Extremely spacious, clean, and comfortable. Excellent value for money. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Was very warm in the room, and would've liked to be able to control the temperature in the room.

Friendly helpful staff offered us advice on where to go to for food and drink etc. Great location to walk to AO Arena, the main reason for our trip. Room was fine and buffet breakfast was a mix of fresh fruit, cereals, pastries and hot items (no pork sausages or bacon). Would definitely use again for concerts.
As mentioned in other reviews if the room is warm you can get some noise from the road outside with the window open but it wouldn't put us off returning.

Good location to city centre also has car park attached
If I’m Being picking , the room furniture and beds looking a little old now

The location is ideally placed to get me to work. Breakfast has a lovely choice of fresh fruit and there is a decent cooked breakfast buffet. The room was spacious and the inside rooms are nicely quiet unlike some of the rooms facing the busy road where the sound insulation could be better.
The radiator was noisy and the telephones have a bright display that needs covering for light sensitive sleepers.

Only 15 mins walk into the main city centre area so great location and cheaper than other hotels in the area. The room was nice, fairly clean and big bathroom. Basic amenities provided. Staff were pleasant and no complaints about them directly.
I did get checked into a room which hadn’t even been cleaned but the staff sorted the issue out. The door key card stopped working several times and it was annoying trekking back down to reception from 4th floor everytime it happened. The staff said the battery must be going with the card key door thing but they didn’t try to fix it. I just had to keep going back down to get a member of staff to open the door for me. The breakfast was very poor quality and not great. The meat products provided at breakfast were extremely low quality and not nice. (The sausages looked anaemic and ill!) Something else I noticed, I tried to book an extra night before checking in and the price jumped from £56 per night to £206 per night during mid-week. I know dynamic pricing exists when there’s an event on (match or gig) but such a mark up for such a basic room is absolutely ridiculous. Would I stay here again? Sure if it was on business and just a place to lay my head. I wouldn’t stay here for leisure purposes and I would not eat the breakfast.

If I had paid double the price I wouldn't have been upset. Any issues would be minor knit picks and unfair given the price paid. I would absolutely stay here again.
Wouldn't be fair complain given the price for a room.

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. There is no way to go to any cafe first. To have breakfast. Lunch. Do some shopping
People who are working are unskilled. They have no idea about servicing cleaning customer service serving glasses. Everyone goes on minimal knowledge and their own contribution to someone else's business.

Good location for castlefield bowl as we were going to a gig there
Poor water pressure for the shower, only vegetarian sausages and turkey strips instead of bacon for breakfast.
Only 1 big towel, no mirror near a plug socket for my wife to get ready.
Fridge in room didn’t work, no urgency from staff when notified.

Comfy beds. Clean and spacious room & bathroom. Good breakfast. Airconditioning.
No windows was a bit strange, but not a huge problem.

15 mins or so from the Arndale which is great. Felt price was abit steep when I originally booked it but by the time we got there, the size of the room was amazing, beds were comfortable and there was 2 music events on plus the Manchester Derby in the FA Cup final so overall we had a great experience.
We didn't drive but the price for the overnight car park was far too expensive, would've been cheaper to park in a car park and walk.

We loved the location, the friendliness of the staff and our clean and airy room. We couldn't fault any part of our stay and have booked to come back.
We loved everything.

Great night sleep Fab breakfast with the most helpful efficient staff ever The atmosphere in the breakfast room was brilliant the decor in there was spot on very tasteful conversion of an old building Staff on leaving were smiling and chatty with us We stay in Manchester and wild definitely stay again and recommend The Ainscow to others Wish we had stayed longer

The room was spacious, ours consisted of a bed, sofa, wardrobe and table with a chair. The bathroom was nice. The room had tea and coffee making facilities which is always a nice touch. The breakfast we had was tasty and there was a good variety of hot foods and cereal.
The carpets were quite stained, but this did not put me off.
2.5
Location, breakfast, bathroom.
Staff instantly gave us a fan early hours in the morning because we couldnt sleep
The bed (too soft) pillows (too soft and not enough in it), room temperature (no radiators where on but it was absolutely boiling in the building), stains on the bedroom floor (looking tomatoey in colour?)

Nice big room. Location is great for Spinningfields.
Furniture is a bit tired and the carpet has seen better days. The room was really warm, even with the heaters turned off, to the point that it was difficult to sleep.

It was lovely and clean and all the staff were really friendly
Small car park I had to pay to park across the road

Location is good just outside the city centre so is better for people who have an event on in the city but want to be out of the hustle and bustle.
Staff were really friendly and welcoming

Breakfast was excellent. Bar was great, staff were excellent.
Air con. Good TV/WiFi availability.
No windows. Which I knew when I booked but didn’t realise until I got up the next day that I didn’t know what sort of day it was out.
Only one bath towel and face towel, and toiletries, supplied despite room being for two people.Only 4 teabags provided. A cup each on arrival and one int he morning - not enough.
Bath v difficult to get into (I’m 5ft) as sort of ledge extends the width of the bath.
Checked in online but still had to fill out form on arrival.
Extra £25 deposit requested on arrival. Not aware of in advance.
Breakfast served in an airless room with no windows again, and no air con.
There were stains on the carpet - blood or ketchup or wine - which were a bit off-putting.
3.5
good location, clean and modern rooms, friendly staff. Pizza was delicious!
Right on a very busy main road so the traffic noise was extremely loud and disturbed sleep (when I had the window open as it was very warm in the room)
sound proof when closed however!
needs a mirror on the desk area for getting ready.

I did reservation at 12.30am on booking.com, when reached to the property staff on reception said nothing is available for tonight, I had my 2 kids and my parents with me, they were very tired, I asked to cancel my reservation and do the refund, they said call the booking.com and request for refund, I rang them twice but they said to wait, it’s been 3 days still chasing them.
