Superb

It's actually more a home than a hostel.great location in a harbor.good food and nice owner who can speak English.

Very good

The host is a very lovely lady. 7/11 is right next door and most restaurants and the visitors centres in town are within 10 minute walk. The food was delightful and filling!

The only thing was there is only one bathroom to share. And all the futons are in one room together, no curtains so not much privacy.

Lovely hostel in the heart of Utoro onsen

The host was lovely and the facility is super clean and welcoming. The food in the restaurant downstairs is incredible, don't miss it. Also excellent location, everything is within walking distance.

The door of the hostel closes at 23:00 and you can't go in or out afterwards.

Very clean and useful location

Perfect location, 2min from bus station and minimarket. Very clean and with all amenities. Common space is beautiful. Bar restaurant in ground floor. Kind owner.

Maybe a bit expensive for what it offers (futon in common room). The windows are on the main street.

Pleasant

We enyoed the cleanlyness and the small kitchen. The parking area in front also is very helpful.futhermore it is very near to the national park.

You hear the other people through the wall. There is jo elevator so you can only use small luggage.

Super cozy and convenient

The owners were so kind and even connected me with the other guests. Meals were superb, and the location is probably the best, being right beside the bus terminal and the only two convenience stores.

There are set times to using the bath. Other than that, everything was amazing!

Exceptional

The quiet atmosphere, the comfy futon, amazing food, great hosts - all you need for this place to remain in your thoughts much longer than the actual stay.

Very clean and the owner was very nice lady.

They do have an issue keeping your bags and cant take a shower in the morning.

Superb

Breakfast was really good, potato dishes (especially the scones) were to die for. The owner even asked me how I wanted my eggs done (as most foreigners don't like to eat raw eggs; I don't mind it though.) The common area was pretty big and had all sorts of things (manga, kitchen stuff, etc.) that are free to use. The English signs and explanations were really well-written, so it was pretty easy for me to understand what to do.

I was alone for most of the days in the dormitory, so I had plenty of space, but there might not be enough space if there were three people staying. I wasn't sure if they lent towels and I didn't ask as I had my own, but it would have been nice if they had it ready just in case. I also would not recommend using the coin drier on the third floor as it was full of fluff that made my clothes really linty. If you really need to do your laundry, there is a coin laundry place right by around the corner.

Lovely stay

Bon is lovely and the food downstairs is really good. Location is great for getting around the area - close to bus terminal and boat companies. The shop next door is great and cheaper than 7 11

Only 1 shower means you may have to wait a bit. Would be good to leave luggage earlier than 12 and for free but theres a bus station with lockers nearby. Wifi is slow
