Great view of Lake Toya from the huge room window! Modern room design and layout!
Slightly far from city centre if you want to watch summer fireworks. Room sinks not user friendly. Breakfast choice is limited.
4.2
Although it’s away from Onsen street and train station, but it provides shuttles between station and hotel, this is very nice.
The environment and atmosphere in hotel are super, and the staffs are all great. They solved almost all my problems with really nice attitude.
I have really nice meals there.
If you enjoy quite, away from people and crowd, this hotel is your best choice.

Loved the modern and clean rooms, the thoughtfulness of the staff. It was so relaxing and zen, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast every morning was different and absolutely lovely!
Only downside is that it’s far from the town itself - around 20-25 mins drive, so if you don’t have a car this is quite inconvenient. But if you do, highlight recommend staying here.

Service and scenery
Sink too near tap, kettle not able to fill water.

View
Food so cool

Hotel room was as expected.
Not too impressed with the breakfast. Selection was minimal.
4.2
Room size, clean and customer service
breakfast should have a choice.

The location of the hotel is great. The idea to put a hot tub at the balcony is appreciated.
I do not like the design of the bathroom, especially the tap and sink in the bathroom.
4.2
Amazing hotel, super stylish. Huge rooms, all with own rotenburo on the balcony and lake view,too.. In addition a fantastic onsen & rotenburo for all guests. Tattoo friendly, too 😀
Staff was super nice plus they have free shuttle service from/ to JR station. Also they shuttle guests to the fireworks section in Toyako Onsen.
The food was exceptional.
We enjoyed every minute in this hotel.
It's not so good to reach without car. Other than this nothing to complain.
4.2
The view was great looking over the lake toya. Hotel staff who can speak Chinese really provided exceptional service and looked after us.
We didn’t know the hotel provide pick up service from station as we do not speak Japanese.
4.2
Fantastic views of Lake Toya from our room, great coffee and tea provided in the room, private outdoor balcony Onsen. The dinner and breakfast were both excellent!
I wish there was more to do around this location, more to shop/see/eat. However everything within the hotel premises were great
4.2
The private open air onsen was good, even it can be seen from outside. Room size was big, the bed also was comfortable.
The location is terrible, surrounding has nothing, only residential area. And there is no public transportation to toyako onsen city if you do not rental car. We did not notice that for dinner course menu we need to reserve in advanced, there is no restaurant surrounding. Luckily we still can get the set menu.
4.2
We had an excellent time staying at WE hotel Toya. The room , onsen and overall service was excellent during our stay.
Hotel seems a bit understaffed. We would like to stay more options for dinner and breakfast. We only have Japanese style dinner and breakfast, but would like more options.
4.2
Bar, dining area and views were pleasing to the eye.
Staff were friendly and hard working
The food was average, the location was in the middle of nowhere I highly recommend a rental car.. the spa was closed our first day although they offered free drinks at the bar to compensate.
The toilet was very bland (white walls), dusty, quite depressing and the toilet paper was very thin and cheap.
4.2
The room design and the remote location of the hotel (away from town)
I can not thing of any!

One of the Chinese staff was extremely friendly. She drove us to the nearest restaurant in lunch time and brought us to a farm buy milk puffs.
location is inconvenient when you don’t hire a car
4.2
Superb design, big bed, great view, fantastic experience
Private onsen could be placed and hidden better

the location is awesome!

Amazing view, outdoor private bathtub on the balcony, spacious room. Very good breakfast. Beautiful decor. Quiet location. Friendly staff.
While the available food was very good, there is no room service or snacks in the bar and the dinner (7 course meal only) has to be pre-booked. Hotel sells “cup noodles” etc, as a workaround, but that’s a bit below expectations. So plan your meals ahead.
A very specific thing, as I had to wash baby bottles every day - the “low hanging” design of washing basin taps made my task quite difficult.
We also missed a spa offering (even just an in-room massage or treatment).
4.2
Love the room with the view of the Lake Toya.. So peaceful. Excellent staff and food.
I love this hotel and will come again. It would be helpful though if the menu could also be in English and tag labels on food at the buffet table could also have an English translation.

Cleanliness and nice room
Nothing

Room size and design is really fantastic
View options from room is great
Breakfast is tasteful
would appreciate if there are:
- more options offered for activities in and around the hotel
- some more food options offered during the day & evening

Very nice staff! They are always friendly and always try to help you with everything. We stayed for 2 nights and needed a lunch, and there is no option for lunch actually but they made us some food. It was really nice because you can’t find any food outside hotel on January, 1.

All good except the F&B could be better to have explanations on food in English :)
4.2
The room was very big compare to other hotel in Toya. The interior was very nice.
Locate in the north of Toya lake, but quite far from toyako onsen. The price quite expensive.

Everything: we were more than surprised by the nice staff, the hotel design, the warm welcome! Absolutely amazing. The private onsen on the balcony, lake view from the room, big rooms, comfortable design, sweet welcome surprise in the room and during check-in. Awesome spa area and the best food. Private and free shuttle to JR station and onsen street if needed. Free parking and parking service. WOW!!
Thank you - we will definitely come back ❤️
