Beautiful location. Very clean and helpful staff

Location was great. Self contained and quiet which is what we wanted. Food in the pub was fabulous and worth the visit.
No toaster or microwave and pub closed on the Monday and we were not prepared for that.

The lodges were lovely and just what we needed . The restaurant food was exceptional and staff very good.

The food in the restaurant was superb. As was the service. Breakfast was also delicious and plentiful.
The staff obviously know what they are doing and the restaurant is run with a great sense of humour but most importantly with precision. Hats off to the chefs too. Great food and reasonably priced for the quality.
We stayed in a lodge with hot tub. It was all spotless and well equipped.
Our heated towel rail in our lodge was a bit rusty…. But to be honest that was the ONLY fault across the board.

The food was amazing and the staff very accommodating
The beds were too firm for our preference

Dinner was advertised as being until 8pm but the kitchen shut early for quiz night. we were not told this when we checked in. When we went for supper we were told nothing was available apart from a pizza that have to be ordered then and there. We then had to find a take away as no local restaurants were available and open on a sunday. We ended up having to drive back to Bromyard for food. Not idea. Also advertised as having kitchens so we could not cook although we have loads of food with us. Same for breakfast. Pretty poor experience. Also i phoned several times to book and no-one phoned back so i booked on line
as above just about everything. we wanted to experience the food which was why we chose it and then it was shut for quiz nigh.

The room was clean and comfortable. Pretty location with nice views. Quiet.
No phone in the room so had to walk down to reception in the rain. They charged us an extra £40 for late check out, which was only another 2 hours. Otherwise my rating would have been higher.

The studio lodge was perfect. Just the right size for a couple. Our visit was to celebrate my husband's birthday and they even popped a bottle of prosecco in the fridge for us, what a lovely touch. We booked in for dinner too, and the food was exceptional (along with the quick and seamless service between courses).
The only thing I could think of to improve was the pillows. Just a little fluffier would be great, but really that is trying to scrape for something to say.

Clean, tidy, comfortable with a large ensuite. We had a meal in the restaurant which was delicious.
Could have provided water bottles in the room but that’s being picky.

It was very comfortable and tranquil with lovely views over fields. We were welcomed very warmly. The food in the restaurant was exceptionally good

What an amazing place to stay, we travelled up from London for a wedding and were delighted we had booked an extra day. The lodges are lovely as well at the tub! Amazing views with really friendly and great staff.

The room was clean
The mattress was old, the springs popped everything you moved and it was lumpy, hard and uncomfortable.
One member of staff was dismissive to the point of rudeness....answering questions whilst walking away, not helpful at all.
We were offered a vegetarian full English as an option....this was basically a full English minus the meat! I asked if there were vegetarian sausage...and was told no did I want a meat one!
We very much looked forward to the evening meal...we were told the menu changed daily so it wouldn't be available until just before service. When the 'June' menu was handed to us it was exactly the same as the 'May' sample menu online. The food was below average...I tried the wild mushroom Risotto...it was bitter and with no flavour.
All round a very poor experience and not value for money.

Very clean, comfortable bed
There was a fridge in our room. I would at least expect a bottle of water per guest for the price. No water provided and no sign to say if the bathroom was drinking water or not x also for the price, surprised that there was no temperature control for the room, it was quite hot.

I never normally leave a comment but I was so impressed with this property. We were going to a wedding and they let us check in early and get changed for the wedding. The room was a good size for 2 people and had everything we needed.
Breakfast was beautiful. staff are amazing. Would 100% stay again.
everything was perfect

We stayed in the lodges, which I found to be comfortable and clean. We stayed two nights and ate both nights at the Baiting House. The meals were very good, although a limited Menu.
On returning to our lodge on the second night there was no electricity. We informed the Manager who did come out but could not fix it so spent the evening in darkness. Apparently this has happened before in this lodge. In the morning the cleaner fixed it by flicking the trip.
Also breakfast was a problem. When we arrived there was not a clear table, each table had not been cleared and was full of dirty crockery from previous customers.

What an absolute Gem, the location was fantastic. in fact it was so good, we booked another nights stay as we wanted to stay longer. Thus we ended up staying in both a room in the main building and a lodge. both were fantastic. Every member of staff was so polite, helpful and friendly, they literally go the extra mile constantly. the food at this place is AMAZING, every item on the menu!!!phenomenal!
My only gripe, and it’s a small one, was the WiFi was a bit intermittent.

Top stay, staff and food
Beds were really uncomfortable though

Very clean, quiet, comfortable bed, excellent place to stay.
The ensuite smells a little musty, potentially could do with a refit. the shower tray must be leaking somewhere which I think could be causing the smell, it was very clean and tidy so it didn't affect my stay.
4.5
Excellent facilities, food and location. Helpful staff couldn’t do enough for you. The lodges to the rear of the pub I can highly recommend. Tastefully decorated & modern in a very peaceful, quiet, country location.
Whilst not always a negative, phone signal was poor however WiFi was good and available everywhere. Taxis are very few if you do need to go anywhere.
