The staff are superb. They make up for anything a guest might not be comfortable with. The fine dining is delicious and the various flavours within the meals super.
The rooms need to be checked before the guest arrive to ensure everything is in working order.

Breakfast was great and Vusi made it more special. His attentiveness and friendliness was appreciated.
Check in could be improved. On our arrival there was no one to direct us or check us in, we wondered for about 5min before we got help.

Exceptionally friendly staff and very professional. Super efficeint. Go out of their way to assist with any request, from ground staff to senior management. Well maintained gardens, clean and spacious rooms, safe and secure. Quiet environment. Very relaxing and great spa facilities. Highly recommend
Cannot think of anything right now.

Breakfast was good, staff were great, cleanliness, location, the spa, the food
I thought paying R11600 for two nights was very expensive, the Saturday was a wedding and nobody said there was going to be a wedding so my room overlooked the wedding party and therefore there was no peace and tranquility. You shoudl have advised this to me and we could then have worke dout a new price. I wouldnt have paid R11600 .

Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very efficient and warm. Their willingness to accommodate your specific request was commendable. The service was excellent and the entire experience including dinner and high tea was wonderful. The hotel was well maintained and clean. The accommodation was excellent. For those looking for a quiet weekend away this hotel allows you to have precisely that. We had wonderful staff who were attentive but discreet. Betty, Thato, Vusi and Jane were the epitome of efficiency and warmth. we also had the distinct pleasure of meeting the owners who exuded warmth and quiet efficiency. My wife and i had a wonderful weekend and will most certainly look forward to returning. Yogan and Nalini Govender

The hotel should inform you that they are having conference guests for the weekend.
A quiet weekend away is no fun when conference guests are partying outside your room in the early hours of the morning.

Not too much.
Overall our stay was just such a disappointment. This property was so lovely a few years ago. Now it's just a let down.
When we went for dinner, we arrived at 8.35pm. We were told that we were too late for dinner. I informed thebwaiter that there was no time limit given for dinner. Reception did indicate that breakfast closed at 10am but nothing about dinner.
After telling the waiter that we needed to eat - he went to the kitchen to discuss it. All we heard was how people were screaming at each other. Eventually the waiter comes back and tells us "OK we will help you".
I sat there the whole night feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable.
The spa - what a joke! We booked 2 x full body massages and 2 x facials.
When the therapist asked me if I wanted the massage pressure to be light, medium or deep, I indicated that I needed a deep massage.
Well, I cannot imagine what a light massage would be because the deep massage was so light, I could not feel anything. It was like the therapist had no interest at all.
I was wiped down with a hard, old and wet face cloth. Horrific!!!! I get angry even thinking of this.
I walked out and told them that I didn't even want the facial anymore. The thought of these therapists even being near me was too much.
I was so looking forward to sharing these therapies with my partner - what a let down!
The food is not good. The soup we had for lunch was used again for dinner - they simply used some powder stock and then called it something else. It was very obvious.
The soup was cold too boot.
My partner had the banking breakfast. The meat patty that was part of this breakfast was the same meat patty that was used on the burger on thr previous day for lunch. It was the same patty that was used for the meat balls for dinner.
We went for our 1st year anniversary. I actually felt so hurt and so disappointed at how everything went that I left this establishment with tears in my eyes.
