Really great location and really cheap price. The place had a lot of space and a rooftop. And lots of cats looking for cuddles. The staff was really nice too.
When I first arrived I was told there were bedbugs in the shared dormitory and they were working to eliminate them. I travel on a budget so I didn't mind them and went ahead. They warned me just in case so all good. There is always the possibility to take a private room, so at the end it is not something bad, just something to take into account, as they will be careful to let you know if something is wrong and offer options.

If you do not expect that everything is perfect right from the start, this is in fact a pleasant, very cheap city center refuge.
Cat allergy might be a problem

This hotel is really cheap and very well located in Chinatown.
We waited a long time before having a room available, as if the reservation had been accepted automatically. No intimacy between the rooms, neighbor watching his series at 2am. Lock broken, so impossible to close the room from inside. No air-conditioning, only fans that make a lot of noise. No sheet to cover yourself while sleeping either.

it’s great location
only cold water in the shower. very very tiny walls so you can here all your neighbours. doors doesn’t look safe. it’s easy to open even you lock it. twice men from reception enter our room without any knocking. first time I could believe it was by mistake but second time it was at 3 or 4am!!! and he for sure knew we were there. also I saw bedbugs!

Location was amazing! That's the only reason we probably will stay at Oasis if we're ever back in town. We actually stayed for one extra night because of this + the very cheap price.
- Rooftop with a nice view
Cats, everywhere! Do not stay here if you're allergic to fur. They were in the hallway, the lobby, the bathrooms, and whenever they got the chance they were in our room as well.
- Rather unclean, felt like it hadn't been cleaned in the common areas for a very long time.
- The staff was... passive. We were greeted by a guy who we thought was a guest, who said that someone would meet us up soon. Then he casually lit a cigarete in the lobby whilst we together waited for his collegue
- The night staff sat by the desk and watched loud videos and listened to punk rock music until late. Very thin slide doors to the rooms. Luckily we had a noisy fan that cancelled out the music

The staff is very sweet and loves to have a chat. They upgraded me for free to a female dormitory because they did not want to let me sleep in a mixed dormitory where only men were. If you need anytging, just ask them. Very good location in Chinatown.
The smell... The place felt a bit dark and dirty. But the nice staff balances it up!

The part time Turk receptionist was very friendly
The cat and the smells they bring together. Cat's fur were circulating in the air and the room has very poor ventilation. Curtains have cigarette smells. Room also smells bed. The air around is bad. Rooms are not soundproofed and may wake you up from time to time from sounds as small as chatting noise. Checkout earlier as cannot sleep in the room. Bed is too hard, pillow cases or maybe the cats fur causing my face to itch. No water heater and sink in bathroom. Very late lights off and elevator lights are not bright. Some places are not well lit as well.

Location, WiFi, the balcony,
Mosquito bites, and the dirty sheets, but that's what to expect from a cheap guest house in good location,

Good views of city skyline
Bed bugs ate me, toilet did not flush, cold water showers, smelly fridge, poor lighting, guests smoking inside, dodgy guests, felt unsafe for myself and my belongings. Worst hostel experience ever

Nice staff and not dusty place. Very nice location.
It smelled like cat pee there. Our private room had installed windows in the walls to the hallway which were not fit to size so there were gaps on the side of the windows, the room was therefore not at all soundproof.
