beautiful rooms, friendly staff, and an exceptional breakfast, making it a great choice
Absolutely beautiful hotel! A friend and I decided to take a short trip to Kuala Lumpur for 4 days, as we were staying in Singapore beforehand. The room is stunning. A spacious room with a large bathroom that can be closed off with sliding doors. Additionally, there is a small living area by the windows, providing us with a view of part of the city from the 37th floor. We particularly enjoyed sitting there with a cup of tea in the evening! The bed was very comfortable, but keep in mind that the TV doesn't have Chromecast options, which is a pity. Fortunately, we could play music via Bluetooth through the TV. On each floor, there is a small hallway with a coffee machine, chilled tea in the fridge, and a hot water tap. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and checking in and out was smooth and quick. To reach your room, you need to take at least two elevators, which we personally didn’t mind. We decided to include breakfast - and we were very pleased. Breakfast is on the ground floor, where we were warmly welcomed by Vincent and the team at Botanica+Co. The options were incredibly diverse and extensive, featuring various cuisines (including the classic Western breakfast) with organic vegetables and fruit. The drink selection was also very diverse and delicious, served buffet style. It’s probably the best hotel breakfast I’ve had so far. All in all, we are very satisfied with our stay at Alila Bangsar - I’ll keep this in mind if I visit Kuala Lumpur again.
In terms of location, it’s a bit disappointing. Situated in Brickfields, we found it somewhat uncomfortable as two young women to walk around in the evening. We didn't dare to take the metro/train to Alila at night. Fortunately, Alila offers chauffeur services, and with Grab (which was incredibly affordable), you can reach the city center in just under 15 minutes. KL airport is approximately 50-70 minutes away by car, as it’s quite far.

Pleasant staying experience
Ambience and interior
Hotel noted on baby cot request and mentioned was available. However, when checked in room no sign of baby cot. Didn’t want to go through the hassle again of asking so we made do with the king size bed.

Great stay!
Beautifully designed interior, swift check in and check out process, powerful air conditioning
Sound proofing wasn’t the best, we can constantly hear doors being closed from the room. We couldn’t switch off lights in the bathroom and suspect the switch might be faulty but we found out too late during the night so we just left it be

Worth the price
The style and design of the hotel is very attractive, and the furniture chosen is excellent.
1. The environment outside of the hotel 2. The way to the parking is opposite from other hotels in Malaysia

Decent stay however room service wasn’t a pleasant experience
The facilities were nice and so were the staff.
The room service! I ordered mee goreng at 11pm for a hefty price and it did not deliver! It was basically cold and I assume they did not defrost it properly. It wasn’t enjoyable to eat at all. Disappointed
