Great 2 days

Location, bohemian feel, bathrooms, laundry, quiet , dishwasher , living space - generally recommend

kitchen okay but limited, is up a steep hill and then 3 floors up and only steps. Not for anyone with walking difficulty, handicap.

The decor is amazing. Attention to detail is evident. Location is good and the hosts customer service is superb! He was also kind enough to allow us to drop off our bags earlier than the normal check in.

Homely and fabulous!!

This property was beautiful. It was in a great location close to everything. The property itself was beautifully furnished and felt so homely. We loved it!!

We were aware but the hill up to the room was steep with the suitcases. However it was worth it and the hill was easy without the suitcases so don’t let this deter you from this fabulous accommodation.

Excellent séjour au cœur de Florence !

Localisation exceptionnelle à deux pas du Ponte Vecchio. Appartement plein de charme qui nous a mis dans l’ambiance florentine, avec une belle vue sur les toits de la ville, et dans un secteur très calme. Accès facile avec code. L’appartement est propre, il y a deux chambres et deux salles de bains (+ un cabinet de toilettes). Salon confortable et charmant. Bons équipements dans la cuisine avec une belle table en bois massif pour prendre les repas.

L’appartement est assez sombre. On ne peut pas laisser les bagages ce qui nécessite d’utiliser une consigne.

Really nice apartment in great location

Great location a short walk down to Ponte Vechio and over bridge into beautiful Florence. Really nice apartment with some quirky design features which gave the apartment a homely feeling . Plenty of nice restaurants nearby for meals . Great kitchen meant we could eat breakfast in morning before heading out .

Very quirky property. A great size. Nice to have the 2 bathrooms. Air con good. Lovely comfortable beds.

The street is steep and quite a few steps up; hard work in 30+ degrees.

Exceptional

The apartment was beautifully decorated, and its location was perfect. It is situated a stones throw from the hustle and bustle of Ponte Vecchio, but you wouldn't know it as it is so peaceful. Marie was very welcoming and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to visit he beautiful city of Florence.

Highly recommend this apartment. It made our stay in Florence even more special.

Incredible decor. The owner is an interior designer, and it shows. Super special experience. Location is fantastic. We walked everywhere. Right around the corner from Ponte Vecchio.

Location, location, location. Well equipped and functioned well. Beds were comfortable. Internet was flawless. The helpfulness of the owner was much appreciated, quick to respond, knowledgeable about advice we needed.

The fact that we recognized how out of shape we were after arriving at the door after a long day and luggage. It’s a climb to the door, then five short flights. This small inconvenience meant a quieter, peaceful environment while still being only five minutes walk from Ponte Vecchio, restaurants, supermercato, gelato.

Beautiful apartment with luxurious, artistic decor that was welcoming and comfortable for our family of 4.

The location was great. The apartment was beautiful, and the kitchen was well equipped for making your own meals if you choose to do so.

The location is in the ZTL so if you have a car it’s not a good choice to stay as cars are not allowed in the ZTL.

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment and found it to be in a great spot for all the sights we wanted to see

The property was in a great location to do lots of sightseeing and close enough to many restaurants

Comfy lodgings close to all for group of 4

Great position walking distance to everything. Large and spacious. Staff were very helpful and efficient. Any questions asked where dealt with efficiently. Thank you.

The husbands not happy with 5 flights of stairs and no lift. Old buildings☺️

Perfect

Absolutely gorgeous apartment which is so wonderfully decorated. Our favourite on our trip to Italy. Perfect position- close to the Ponte Vecchio. The apartment is larger than it appears in the photos - 2 bedrooms with 10/10 for comfortable beds and pillows, 2 newly renovated bathrooms with excellent hot water and water pressure in the showers, a lounge, dining area and kitchen. Just perfect.

Very beautiful authentic decorated rooms. Right at the city center. Easy access to everywhere. A lot of markets and restaurants around. Very good nice lady the owner of the place. And one more important thing for italy is hot hot water in shower )))

Wonderful.

Top notch apartment. Great location, as central as can be. Well furnished and fully equipped. Spacious and well kept. Clean and thoroughly organized. Host super responsive and professional. Surroundings perfect - near all central attractions, great supermarket just under the apartment. I wholeheartedly reccomend.

Entrance by code only (no key), common in florence and probably safe but I'd prefer a key (we didn't ask, to be fair) or a code changeable by the guest. There is a very short but very steep uphill walk to the apartment. For most people it should be ok.

Beyond PERFECT!

This place is AMAZING, very confortable and beautiful. perfect for two couples with two full bathrooms and half in the living room. Our Host was outstanding always ready to answer our questions and setting up a taxi for us. For us the location was the best part just next to the ponte vecchio and plaza de la Republicca with many options of restaurants, gelaterias and shopping. Thank you Marie for everything! Note: The apartment is in a hill and also has 28 steps to get there, so if you have a baby trolley or lots of luggage take into the account, for us wasn’t a problem.

, but extra space and comfort worth the money!

This is a fully equipped two bedroom, 2.5 bath apartment that can easily accommodate a family (extra twin in one bedroom). It was located on the south, quiet side of Ponte Vecchio bridge on a one way street, but still close to attractions and restaurants. Worked perfect for us as we were attending a wedding and other events in Grassina area. Maria was very responsive prior to and during our visit. She helped set up taxi times for us on a daily basis and all were on time. The apartment was clean and comfortable and we felt a little more ‘local’ staying here. Plus we had a large refrigerator for drinks, cheese and snacks!

Please note that the street the apartment is located is about a one-two minute walk uphill from the base and up five short flights of stairs, so if anyone in your party is disabled in any way, it may not be the right location for you. We are both in our mid 60’s and considered the extra cardio worth the location and the space!

Excellent “classical” stay with modern touch!

This appartment in the core of one of Europe’s most beautiful cities exceeded all our expectations. Besides the location we had all comfort and my daughter was able to perform a medical studies exam online with high speed internet.

I didnot like the negative reaction of a few. It was the best stay we had in a long time.

SHABBYCHIC AT ITS BEST

This stylish, shabbychic apartment has definitely enhanced our experience of Florence. La Maison made us feel at home and Marie was an amazing host, full of great recommendations and advise. We couldn't ask for anything more. Spectacular location; just off famous Ponte Vecchio.

Beautiful old apartment near the very centre

The flat is close to the historic centre of Florence, but on the quit street which is super comfortable for a calm stay. Wooden floor, 2 big beds, great cozy living room with candles, and bookshelves. A huge wooden beautiful table in the kitchen. Everything was perfect.

There was some noise from the neighbors above in the early morning, which you could hear in one of the bedrooms.
