Great location
The front desk staff (N.) was very helpful. We were allowed to store our bikes in the basement while we stayed at the hotel. Great pool at the partner hotel.
We were first given a room that was very close to an outdoor ventilation which was noisy. The staff was kind enough to change our room.

Hotel Patani is in a great location, on the edge of the historic centre and a very short walk from the waterfront. Our room had a large balcony which was a lovely place to enjoy a meal and relax, with a great view of the old town up the hill..

The staff here are very helpful, very friendly, very welcoming. The hotel faces on to a busy / noisy road, but once you cross the road, you are in the town, and there you can find good fresh coffee and food, shops, souvenirs etc.
Pictures of a spa / jacuzzi and sauna, descriptions of 'beachfront property' -- these were misleading. There is *no* public spa or sauna. "These are in certain rooms only. And those rooms are not finished yet". The 'beach front' is simply not true: the lake is 15 minutes walking down a side road behind the hotel. The only view is of the road, and the castle in the distance.
Breakfast is a sweet-lover's dream. Biscuits, chocolate, pastry, jams, sweet bread. Boiled eggs and sliced cheese/ham, a bowl of apples/bananas--I think this is a standard Italian breakfast though, it just wasn't what I was looking for.

Central location between the old town with its lovely bar and restaurant options and also Lake Bolsena.

The staff were wonderful! The location was perfect - a short walk to the lake and the old town. The restaurant was very good and the breakfast was perfect.
Our room was comfortable, but there was a heating problem that couldn't be resolved quickly. Other than that, basically perfect!

Very helpful and friendly staff.Good location.
Quiet basic breakfast, but flexible to accommodate us for dinner as the children wanted pizza. While they didn't had it in the menu, they made it for us.We appreciated that. But the breakfast was mainly based on croissants and sweet stuff. Some ham and cheese, no salads, no eggs.
Price of the rooms quiet expensive.

Comfortable bed and a bathtub! staff were very friendly and helpful. Dinner was delicious and we had a good breakfast.
The hotel had just opened so not everything was functional but it didn’t not negatively affect our stay.

NICE VIEW FROM BALCONY
Near everything you need in Bolsena
Bolsena is a small town so most things are reachable by foot from this hotel
Very noisy outside of the rooms, found it hard to sleep. That Is all

Good central location, spent some time wandering around the town and it was a lovely place to explore the castle and the lake. We went to the pool at their partner hotel down the street which was great and right on the lake. Our room had a nice sized balcony with a great view of the castle which was lit up and beautiful at night. Breakfast was really nice as well, it had a big spread that was delicious. Secure private parking lot was nice as well.
Apparently the air conditioning is not on 24/7 which is not listed on the booking information. This was frustrating as it was very hot and humid in our 3rd floor room. Had that information been listed, I would have picked a different location. The next day the front desk staff said that after September 1st, the air conditioning is only on for a few hours a day. This was unfortunate. The bed was very firm, which was fine for me but my wife was not able to sleep well on it. Also, the doors weren't sealed so you can hear everything that happens down the hallway and in your neighbors rooms. For the price I would have expected the air conditioning to work and it to be a little quieter. The doors to the balcony sealed and were insulated and quiet, but then the door to the room was thin and not sealed and was loud. I would go back to Bolsena but would stay in an AirBnB instead. This place honestly wasn't bad, the staff was super nice, but the AC issue was a pretty big one.
