it would be perfect if the shower case could be larger

Very friendly staff and great location!
Unfortunately, we were not really happy with our stay at Hotel Holiday. Although the location really is great, the hotel has seen better times. It really needs to be updated - our bed was really uncomfortable as if the mattress was 20 years old and our room had mold above the window. Although the staff was very friendly, I would not recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for one night whilst travelling through Italy. The location was very nice and we had a room overlooking the lake. It was only a few minutes walk to where various restaurants and bars were located, it was nice to explore. We ate in the restaurant at the hotel and the food was exceptional. The setting was perfect with a nice terrace and grassed areas with cabanas. Friendly staff as well.
The room was quite tired and would benefit from modernising.
We came down for breakfast 45mins before it was due to end and there was nothing left. We managed to scrape some cake and a couple of bread rolls. We asked the waiter for some eggs along with some toast and also some milk for my coffee but only the eggs turned up. We chased several times but gave up in the end. It was a shame as it sort of ruined our experience in the end.

This is a beautiful property on the shores of Lake Bolsena. Take a room at the front of the property and you will get a balcony with uninterrupted views of the lake. The rooms a re a good size and have a fridge which is handy. The hotel itself is immaculately maintained and the pool area is very good indeed with plenty of sunbeds (some with their own curtained areas) well manicured lawns and hedges and service from the pool bar. Parking is free and plentiful. The location is excellent and only a ten minute walk from the ancient town centre. On the way you will pass a few pleasant bars and eateries. The owner and staff are very helpful and friendly. Curiously the air-con is controlled at the reception desk so if your room kis a little warm tell them as you leave for the evening and they will adjust it for you.
Once we had sorted the air-con, nothing

The bed a hard and pillows were hard and flat. No kettle in the room . Can't even boil hot water.

The pool and lake views were great.
The bed wasn’t comfortable, the room was small, the air conditioning could not be regulated. The price was too high even for a tourist town. The wine prices were ridiculous. The staff were slow to serve at the pool bar, especially for how much we were paying. The wifi was terribly slow!

Excellent quite location with beautiful lakeview, nice pool area
Room was small, balcony no privacy

quiet location, good sized swimming pool, attentive staff, very clean.
The bed was too hard for us. If we stay there again we will specifically ask for a room with a softer bed - more suitable for elderly person with problems with arthritis/rheumatism.

The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating - extremely important for me travelling in a wheelchair.
My room was spacious.
The location was absolutely right for us - so close to the lake.
The breakfasts were so well organised, adjusting to the COVID situation.
The dinner was absolutely delicious.
Thank you ☺
The shower step was too high for me (room 53)
The room was spacious, yet I could not move down the sides of the bed as they were too narrow for my wheelchair.
To be fair, it was not advertised as a room for people with disabilities.
4.3
The location is just perfect
Breakfast was not satisfying, but this might be due to the COVID rules.

Bolsena is a beautiful and ancient town on the side of Europe's largest volcanic lake. The old town, with its narrow winding streets, is set upon a hilltop with more modern environs sweeping to the shore. This hotel is at the end of a long promenade that runs along the lakeside to an area of pleasant bars restaurants and other hotels next to a small marina The hotel itself is lovely. It is typical of many family run Italian hotels. Elegant; a friendly welcome; fine food and plentiful breakfasts. They have clearly thought covid issues through properly and there is no buffet at breakfast. Instead they provide an order form the night before and you simply tick what you want and it is brought to your table the next morning. There is no skimping on the food..there was plenty with eggs cooked to order. The hotel has ample parking and is set in beatifully kept grounds with a large swimming pool. There are more sunbeds and seating areas than the 20 rooms in the hotel could ever need. There is a poolside bar which provides waiter service for cold drinks and hot food..
The hotel itself is a matter of yards from the lakeside. We chose a balcony room with lake view and we are so glad we did. The view was stunning providing an uninterrupted vista right across this beautiful expanse of water.
The bed was made of two single matresses zipped togethrer providing a queen sized bed that was very comfortable. The room was large with air-con and a good sized bathroom with over-bath shower. Cleaning was excellent and the who;le experience was well worth the money.
We ate in the restaurant on one night and were glad we did. The food was very fine indeed and our waitress, Steph, a great help.
I would commend this hotel. It has the best views in Bolsena, by far.
