Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Check-in / check-out was super quick and easy. Breakfast buffet was very good, with lots of options.
Found it just a little bit tricky connecting to the wifi. Once connected it worked great though.

An old colonial style hotel, with old finishes but still in excellent condition. Set on the old train station. Felt like we went back in time. It was so lovely. Gorgeous gardens and stunning swimming pool. Bradley was fantastic and so helpful, always smiling and full of joy. Very welcoming.
The bacon should kept warm at breakfast time. The hotel needs a little maintenance and upgrading

The hotel is neat and in a very good location. The room staff and reception was helpful and friendly.
We stayed from a Friday - Sunday. The geyser of our room (also other rooms) were not working. I phoned reception on our first night to report a problem of cold water. I was informed that they are aware of the cold water problem and that I should run the tap open for 20 minutes to see if the water turns warm.
I responded that I don’t feel comfortable running water for 20minutes as water is a “precious commodity in Namibia” as stated on the poster next to the shower. I got a reply that this is unfortunately the system the hotel is using.
For the remainder of the weekend me and my family had cold showers. I gave up on showering by the Saturday evening.
The hotel staff was apologetic and asked us to shower in another room. To my husband’s horror this shower was cold too!
We were informed to contact the hospitality management about this matter after our stay.
After promises of coming back to us, we emailed again about this matter and we’re merely informed that they can assure us they are working on the problem at the hotel.
Very dissatisfied with the outcome and how management dealt with this problem. Unacceptable to pay for 4star hotel service, only to have cold showers all weekend (bath plugs wasn’t working either).
Disappointed to say the least.

I said we would be back. This Legacy is a beautiful one.
It is not good to cut expenses where people can notice it.

Amazing building in old train station. Spacious, clean rooms. Nice pool area. Lots of space. Entertainment centre next to hotel with cinema and casino. Great breakfast buffet. Very friendly staff.
Pool water very cold. View from room towards the outside is not very nice.

the staff were friendly and really helpful- went out of their way with any requests we had.
we loved the Platform One restaurant too surprisingly, we didn’t have high expectations but it was quite yummy.
we only stayed one night but it was a perfect pit stop between our road trip, comfortable, clean and spacious too. location wise I can’t comment as everything was closed on Sunday, but it seemed pretty central.
AC was rattling and the chargers built into the side table didn’t work

Great location, extremely friendly staff and clean rooms. Alot of facilities such as the casino and cinemas. The croissants at the breakfast menu were delicious!
The shower facilities are not the greatest as it is built into a bath tub and leaks onto the bathroom floor.

Super breakfast buffet. Friendly and assisting staff, especially Marlene who dealt with extra requests such as transport arrangements and ensuring that maintenance attended to noisy airconditioner in our room.
The server responsible for frying eggs and making omelettes need to be able to multi task better. Attending to one guest's request at a time, when there is plenty of space on the burner plates to easily fry 4 - 6 eggs in addition to making one or two omelettes simultaneously, lead to frustratingly long waiting times when the restaurant was busy.

It was clean, it was in a good location, close to everything easy to get out to Walvis, Internet was good, pool was amazing , staff was friendly , the breakfast was awesome
On the last day our takeout breakfast wasn't ready at the time we booked for 0600 which was agreed to by hotel , the takeout breakfast menu is also not great, no bacon, sausages etc

I liked most the gardening and the layout the flowers. The place is very beautiful and appealing. Very relaxing and took off the flight travel stress . I really enjoyed the stay though a distance away from the beach.
The fact that they failed to provide the fist payment invoice receipt . They said I should demand it from the booking.com agent since I booked online through an agent. Therefore I haven't got the receipt and still waiting for the booking.com agent to email to me. So I didn't like the whole arrangement. The invoice BWP 4778.45 paid on the 17/01/2020.
