Staff were amazing!
Delivered our dinner to the room because of rain.
Food was good.
Did not get the room that we booked, this one was much smaller.
It was raining and a lot of water kept on falling through the roof.
Didn’t have electricity for a while

Great lodge. everything fine. spacious accomodation, good staff. The only 'but' is that the lodge is a bit to large for us. Ater travelling for years through Namibia, we prefer now smaller, more personal and cosy lodges.
nothing

Everything was wonderful! A lovely place with a lovely staff!!

Incredible place! All the buildings are well integrated in the nature, you really feel the latter is the true and only protagonist! Al the staff very nice and attentive.
Just a little more attention in the communication of the timetable of the activity so that guests are not late or in a rush during breakfast

We stayed in a big Family Villa and it was absolutely amazing! We regretted not being able to spend more time at the villa. We had Zebras and Giraffes drinking right outside our house 🤩!
The Cheetah experience was out of this world, such beautiful animals!
All staff were super friendly (except every now and then one of the drivers) and the guides very knowledgeable.
On our arrival at the lodge it was quite busy, we decided to have dinner before going to our villa. The buffet however was nearly empty and what was left, was cold. It did get refilled with fresh warm food, but that was when we were already eating what was left… The chairs that night in the restaurant were also quite uncomfortable.
However, this was just a one time thing, as the next day the chairs were replaced by comfortable chairs and the food absolutely perfect!
WiFi wasn’t working at the villa and mostly not in the main lodge, normally not a big issue, but after spending 10 days in the desert, we were a little desperate to let our families know we were still alive 🙈.

The Naankuse lodge is nicely located in the North west of Windhoek.
The staff is not trained. They have no concern for customer service. You do not receive any description of the facility and what are the possible activities.
Villas are for self catering but you do not know until you get there, and the first supermarket is an hour away.
The food is way below the standard for a lodge at this price.
The staff keep playing their RAP music and else, loud, in the common area during Breakfast and dinner.
Frankly you have to remind yourself and hope the money you pay is going for a cause. (good?? Not sure)
Not to be considered if you don't have your own transport. (the villa was 20min away driving from the main lodge)

not much . the room was clean and adequate but wasn’t serviced after our first night there and was only done after our second night
the style
if the dining area was impersonal and didn’t really capture the theme of a game park
The roads to the lodge were very bad and the corrugations were awful

It was OK but very expensive

Rooms were perfect
The food can be better but not bad

Considering that the lodge exists in order to finance the animal sanctuary, once you book this rooms you have the feeling that you are doing something good. We were staying in the lodge and not in the villas and the internal arrangement of the room was amazing, the best in Namibia and beyond. We did the jaguar experience and it was really an experience.
It is very well organized, a machine that works to produce money (for very good project indeed). Sometimes this feeling is a bit strong. Food is good but average.

The house was beautiful. The game drives were nice and informative.
The dinner as we were told it would be buffet although we were give a la cart our entire stay. The a la cart doesn’t have enough options to choose from.

1st nights dinner was unpleasant. When we spoke to management they didn't do anything to make up for it. We ended up not eating dinner that night. Luckily the food for the rest of our stay was excellent.
The lodge accomodation that we stayed in needs maintenance. This place is not worth the price we paid. We went on a game drive to see them feed the animals. The game driver was very knowledgeable and friendly. My concern was that the cheetah and lions have hundreds of flies all over them. I know this is in the bush but the cheetah stomach looked like the flies we nesting, it was not a very pleasant sight. They said they do spray for the flies but I don't know😦 other than that the animals are in pretty good condition.
Very overrated. Would not go there again.
I wondered whether the owner of the place ever does personal checks on the accommodation and the restaurant. The pool area also needs maintenance as well as the lodge that we stayed in.
I know this is harsh criticism but I have been wanting to go to Naankuse for years and when I finally did I was a little disappointed.

Perfect place to stay after arrival or before departure.
