Very friendly host! He even took me to Perola with his car to hike PR10. Furthermore I had some dirty laundy to be cleaned. When I asked if they had a machine, they offered to clean it for me. The apartment was clean & well equipped. All in all I enjoyed my stay very much.
All fine

We were very happy with everything. The owner Abel was waiting for us in the middle of the night because our flight was late. The view from the apartment was breathtaking just like the bananas from the garden. To eat fresh bananas for breakfes every day is something you never forger. I definitely recommend the place, there was nothing we missed.

The owner was helpful and hospitable. He provided us barbecue opportunity as per our request. The view from the terrace of the studio was amazing. We were amazed by especially the banana and the other exotic fruits cultivation which was offered to eat by the owner. Hereby we would like to say thank you again. We would recommend this place to stay for everyone who choose this island.

We spent a wonderful week of rest in these apartments. A wonderful view of the ocean from the window, a comfortable, clean and cozy accommodation that has everything you need. A friendly host who provides valuable advice. The X factor of this apartment is the banana garden opposite where you can treat yourself to fresh bananas.

The host of our accommodation was very friendly and helpful he provided us also with nice tips for our stay.
The accommodation is very well located - a bus stop, as well as two mini mercados and restaurants are reachable within 5 minutes.
As guest you will have enough privacy due to the private property to relax undisturbed on a sunny afternoon on the provided sun chairs and enjoy the great view.

I and my friend had ground floor adjoining apartments, which were very clean, mine had two single beds while my friend had a double bed.
Also a well equipped kitchenette, with a small table and two chairs, and a separate bathroom/shower.
We overlooked terraced gardens with a lovely view of Porto da Cruz.
Our host was very welcoming and friendly, we had many nice evenings sitting out on the terraced gardens.
Also the sunrises and sunsets were well worth taking photos of, also the owner is more than happy for you to help yourself to the bananas growing in abundance, on the terraced gardens.
Nothing to dislike about the property, but the only downside was the accommodation was up a very steep road, and although at 63 I class myself as fairly fit for my age, it was a struggle, so we paid €5 to get a friendly taxi driver to take us home from the town square at night.
Just be aware if you are getting on a bit or have mobility issues.

Friendly and helfpul owners. Good location, close to nice beach and one of the best restaurants on the north coast. You can eat bananas directly from the garden. Very good price to value ratio.
Sofas were not sufficient to sleep but owners provided us with free additional beds and cots.

The host was very kind, we had a little conversation and got bananas from their own garden.
The bed was a little bit small for the two of us and there was a dog in the neighbour that’s been barking at nights.

The quality of everything was exceptional. Everything we needed in the kitchen area, heater provided, comfy sofa. Even sun loungers to sit outside as well as the outside table and chairs. The owner came by car 6 kms to meet us off the bus. The day we left he helped us down to the local bus stop. Porta da Cruz is very pretty and we enjoyed our stay there above all other places in Madeira.
