The location is really good, it is close to the airport. I could reach the place easily from the airport by taking a bus and then walking 5 min. There is a restaurant nearby that can be helpful if you arrive before 9pm.
As a female solo traveler, I was concerned with the safety of the surroundings during the night, however I felt pretty safe. The pension is located in a residential area so it was very quiet.
After checking the reviews from previous guests I knew what to expect, it didn't surprise me. The bathroom is inside the bedroom, there is no walls or doors, not a problem to me. Unfortunately the I couldn't open the window in my room, as I was in the top floor and the window couldn't hold its weight and would close shut. A bit inconvenient as I wanted to open it after taking a shower.
The room could be cleaner, especially the floor.

near by airport
no taxi axess no information no contact no body in there and security is not really good
3.2
Convenient, value for money, close to BER airport
Fridge in room was either turned off or not working
3.2
Nothing
when you walk in it smells bad in the hallway.
we arrived at 19:00 at night, outside was -5 and in the room the heater radiator was cold as ice, and the window was opened.
the room is very tall, and keep in mind that the heater radiator was very small for that room, after we started it, it worked for 1h, after that it stopped for 1h, 1h30 min, it worked in waves. The blankets that were provided we summer blankets, the pillows were 50 years old, only after 100 explanations we managed to get 2 more summer blankets to stay worm throughout the night.
when we asked the owner and explained the situation they stated that they are not a hotel, they are a pension what do we expect. not nice for 65€/night.
the fridge is rusted, the bathroom is useless, you are better off without a shower, then to shower there, i have seen shower for truck drivers on the highway more cleaner then this one.

This is an unique property unlike any other I’ve stayed at. The two most critical features for me are that 1) it’s relatively close to the new Berlin Willy Brandt airport (BER) for a simple overnight stay to catch a connecting flight, and 2) it was very cheap compared to other properties offering a private bed and bath. In that, it served its purpose. It was also clean, tidy and offered most features of a standard hotel room. So far, so good…
It was difficult to find the entrance after being dropped off at the address after midnight, and there are apparently no staff at all, or even a management office on site. I didn’t see another soul during my whole stay. My room was identified by its number in an email before arriving, and I was informed it would be unlocked with the key inside. That was true.
After ten minutes of wandering in the dark I located the unmarked entrance door around back and went upstairs to find my room. When I opened the door I found a tiny attic room with only a skylight for a window in the low, slanted ceiling over the bed. It was a bit shocking but in due course I discovered it had all the standard features of a hotel room, including a compact refrigerator and wall mounted TV with cable. But everything is compacted into something like 12‘ x 10‘. The decor suggests a dark medieval chamber of sorts. it was also very clean and suggested a good deal of thought had gone into the room’s features. Still, my initial impression lingered that it might well pass for a midway point for a human trafficking ring.
More important than the size, the Wi-Fi hotspot was weak and unreliable. This proved to be a problem because I needed to check in for my flight, which I had to delay until I got to the airport. Not ideal.

- Location, very close to the airport. There is a bus station 3 min from the pension that goes to the airport, it is 8 min ride and it is not crowded. Price is 1,70€ and you can buy ticket from the driver. Just bear in mind the bus goes every hour, so make sure to check schedule. Also, nice place to eat nearyby (Gasthaus Zur Hecke).
- Fairly clean
- Check-in is a bit confusing. When I arrived there was no one there (and it was well within check-in hours and I also specified my time of arrival in advance). I tried to find reception (behind the house, in the dark corridor...), but all doors were closed. After 10 minutes of wandering around, I decided to call them. Lady over phone was nice and it was easy from there, but the whole calling thing is very inconvenient. I have EU phone number, so for me the price of the call was the same as in my country, but for some travelers it would be really expensive. Maybe object should send check-in instructions in advance if they don't plan to be there.
- WiFi connection was terrible. It kept disconnecting every 10 minutes.
- No soap in the room
- Pillow is really old and uncomfortable. It really should be replaced.

Close to airport
Spider webs on the walls, soap not provided.
Very basic accomodations

Nothing.
Very small room. Anybody 6 ft tall will be banging their head on the low ceiling.

Close to the airport (by car), public parking nearby, great room design (unique combination of a bedroom and a bathroom :D ). Honestly, it looks much better then it sounds. The room is very stylishly decorated and has almost all the necessary facilities. Not suitable for a longer stay, but perfect to spend a night before a flight.
Nowhere to hang clothes (some kind of a coat hanger bar would have been a great addition to the room).

It is cheap
.Too many smokers in the compound. Bed spread needs a change

Literally nothing.
Do not book!!!! Some sort of hostel for Russian men. No manager or reception. Got put on phone to someone who would no accept my booking. Told to wait in some sort of communal room with three beds and three Russian men in it. Only one person was able to speak German with me and no one spoke English. Outnumbered by Russian men whilst wearing blue and yellow for Ukraine. Ran away and booked elsewhere. Will investigate refund and compensation.

Great location for flying out of BER
a bit hard to move large luggage in and out of the halls and into our room in particular

I liked the self-checkout after 00:00, my flight came late and the host allowed me to check in.
There were no blankets, but I was so tired, I covered with my winter coat and slept perfect
3.2
Convenient location from the airport. Great place to spend the night after arrival or before departure. The room and bathroom were clean. Friendly hostess who was always in touch.
I wish I had a more comfortable pillow.
3.2
Good communication with the owner via Booking.com messages and quick responses, very helpful. Access to kitchen. Possible late check out
Old looking rooms. Heating was switched off centrally during the night so the room was freezing, as the heaters weren’t switched on until I got there. I had to sleep in my clothes.
