Good location (walking distance from the basilica and a 15-20 min walk to the bus terminal. Easy! Clean room, clean bed, super host.
It was all good :)

Luis was an amazing host, super friendly and helpful and he made me feel very safe as a solo female traveller. The guest house has everything you need and is right by the centre of town. It was lovely to meet his family and stay in such a welcoming place while I was in Santa Ana.

.Luis and his family were so nice! They always up to help, give recommendations and even to have a nice conversation
The facilities are great. You can also ask Luis for bike rental which are very cheap.
The wifi signal was weak in most of the locations

We stayed here as part of our 7 week backpacking trip through central america. This was by far our favourite place we stayed. The owner Luis and his family were the loveliest people and Luis was always on hand for any questions or recommendations. Kitchen facilities were very good and the room was clean and decent size. If you’re looking for a cute home stay where you will be well looked after then this is the best place for it!
Not many other travellers but it was low season

Tolle, gut ausgestattete Küche, große Gemeinschaftsbereiche mit gemütlichen Sitzgelegenheiten. Gefiltertes Wasser gekühlt und ungekühlt!

Location was fabulous! So close to main city square, but far enough that didn’t hear the free concert that was also there.
Luis the host was excellent. Unfortunately I got food poisoning during one of my outings, but Luis was great trying to get me back on my feet again. He checked on me and suggested restaurants which might do me some good.
Luis also helped arrange transportation with a company to visit Santa Ana volcano and Lago de Coatepeque, which was worth the cost.

Great hostel! We had a very comfy bed, our room was spacious and had a ceiling fan and private bathroom. Very well equipped kitchen and nice communal space. The host was so so helpful with information in English and Spanish and the family are very friendly! We had an excellent four night stay, fairly central location, only a 5/10 minute walk to the main plaza, and a 30 minute walk to the main bus terminal by the market (Terminal Fransisco Lara Pineda). You can easily get to la Ruta de las flores from here, as well as Juayua, Joya de Ceren, and Tazumal.

Absolutely loved this guesthouse. Perfect location, easy walk from main square, but still quiet. I slept very well. Although sometimes you can hear noises from next room, everybody is respectful here, no loud parties or conversations.
Luis is a wonderful host, he helped me with lots of advises and arranged a number of transfers.
Great breakfast as well.

Stay here! Don't even think about anywhere else in Santa Ana. This guest house was fantastic, my partner and I were so comfortable with a large room, personal bathroom, great shared kitchen facilities and close enough to stroll to everything yet in a nice quiet spot that it was easy to sleep every night. But the main reason we loved our stay was the owner Luis, who was brilliant. He cooked us a different delicious breakfast every morning and was always available to give us tips and tricks for exploring Santa Ana and the surrounds. He even picked us up when we got stuck in the rain one night on the other side of town! We felt at home.
Nothing.

Luis must be one of nicest people we have ever met. He is so helpful. He arranged our transfer into Nicaragua sorting out the paperwork needed to get it. He give great advice on things to see and do. He is such a lovely man to talk to. All his family are lovely. The breakfast is great. Our room was very clean and quiet. We loved all the places you can sit and chill.

Luis and his family were so kind and thoughtful during our stay, it really felt like home away from home! Breakfast was delicious and different each day and the private room was clean and comfortable. Hot showers too which is a rare find in Central America.
Everything was wonderful, we couldn’t think of anything to improve!

Location is ok. Hot water. Owner can supply info.
Dorm room quite small, it should have been arranged for 4persons but put 3bunks which made 6 people hardly have place to stand. There are only 4 lockers. Curtains can only cover one side and thus can’t tell privacy protected.

Buena ubicación
Todo limpio
Personal amable y eficiente

I loved staying in this place! It felt like home. Luis and his family are so kind and helpful. It was clean, hot showers, great kitchen to cook, nice chill area. Location is perfect, and I met such nice people in the guesthouse. Luis told me how to get to all the places I wanted to visit, which was amazing. I highly recommend to stay here. Would love to go back.

Luis and his family were so welcoming and unbelievably helpful and knowledgeable, and this vibe rubbed off on the other guests as well.
The dorm room is small but clean, and the kitchen is very well equipped. There are lovely hang out areas that feel like part of the family home (because they are).
Location is on the edge of central area, giving perfect access without the immediate area being too noisy.
A lovely cooked breakfast is available for $2.

I was here about 1 month and I felt totally comfortable! Location and Kitchen is great, and its easy to meet people cause it’s rather small. The hostel is very sweet and lovingly decorated and has a very family atmosphere. Especially Luis and his family are so warm, nice and caring that you feel like home. I was also sick during my stay and they helped me a lot and accompanied me to the doctor. All in all they are one of the most amazing people I have met on my trip, thank you for everything<3

The owner Luis is just so caring and helpful whether it comes to finding tours and suggesting things to do, to catering for dietary restrictions for breakfast.

What a beautiful stay. After 10 months of travelling, in and out of many hostels, it was super wonderful to stay here with Luis and his family. His home is a few blocks from the main square, super quiet and peaceful at night despite being so close to all the action in town.
Luis & Jennifer are super accommodating and welcoming. Each morning we got cooked breakfast, even when we left early at 7am for the volcano hike they ensured our bellies were full! If you're looking for a chill, cute place to stay with a family feel, this is definitely it. Thank you so much once again Luis!

Luis and his family are the nicest hosts ever!! Helped in every way so make my stay the best possible and explained a lot of El Salvadors culture and latest development.
Room was big, clean, comfortable, with enough space to store thinks and aircon.
Breakfast was tasty and enough with a lot of coffee.
The guesthouse is located centrally so easy to walk everywhere.
nothing. everything was perfect.

Luis who runs the place is a fantastic host, he speaks excellent English and is a fount of knowledge about visiting places in Santa Ana and the local area. Nice location about 5 minutes from the town square, 20 minutes from the bus station. Delicious breakfast, and different every day

Luis and his family are really friendly & he is helpful (he knows everything about tours & buses), the house is a calm place to stay and it's close to the main park in the city. Breakfast has also been really delicious and for a good price!
It was rather dark in the room and really warm without fresh air in the night. The fan helps a little but with four people we left the door open.

Luis is one of the nicest, kindest and most helpful people I have met. Such a lovely, family run hostel which just gives the whole place such a nice, welcoming and relaxed feeling. Luis helped me arrange transport to the volcano and to my on-going destination before I’d even arrived. He was happy to chat about the country and very helpful with info about the local area. Comfy and clean room. kitchen you can use and the included breakfast was very tasty. very central to the main square, only a 5 min walk

The kitchen was great, very good equiped! Location was great, 3 minutes walk from the main square and also a very safe location. ☺️
The dormitories very a little bit hot during the day, but it was fine in the night with an open door.
