About the owner: Hello Fellow Beach Lovers, I am Kathleen Reese and we reside in Tallahassee, Florida approx 2 hours east of PCBeach. My husband and I work full time and decided to buy a condo at the new, fabulous Calypso Resort, because our family (three daughters/sons by marraige and six grandchildren) has enjoyed the best, most relaxing vactions AT THE BEAUTIFUL beaches of Panama City! Buying a condo at Calypso was our first realestate investment and We have been blessed by having positive, special relationships with families who have visited. This picture was taken at the renown Front Porch restaurant a few steps away at Pier Park, right next door to Margaritaville.

We love sharing information about some of our favorite places & activities in PCBeach that many families do not know about: St. Andrew's State Park has rental boats, kayaks and provides shuttle pontoon rides to the fabulous, pristine Shell Island where dolphin watching is unusually great. Also, GulfWorld Aquarium and Zoo just a few blocks away is very special, family oriented, a great bargain and our grandkids love going there (educational too!). We decided to rent this unit just a couple of days before the trip. Kathleen's communication during the process of renting this unit was outstanding. We really enjoyed our stay here. The host was so extremely helpful and thorough with everything. I have not had great prior experience with VRBO in PCB but Kathleen the host made this an awesome experience. Nobody wanted to leave. Highly recommended. She’s really an excellent host. Great place with fantastic views over looking the gulf. The property is very clean and had plenty of room. A short walk to pier park. The pools just had new patios put in and look great. The host gets 5 stars. They made sure our stay was perfect. They were right there from the time we booked till we checked out.

After we left the host is claiming we broke a chase lounge on the patio and trying to keep our deposit. The photos shared with us showed a piece of trim falling off the chair. There was a bad storm with high winds that must have caused this to happen. Very disappointed. Feel like we are being scammed. Anyone who rents from this person should check over all furniture and take pictures when you get there to make sure this doesn't happen to you.

Loved the location of Condo! The weather was great! The only thing I would change would be beach hut. Make sure you register at the beach hut for your chairs and umbrella. Even when there is no one stationed at the beach hut.

Ocean front with easy access to the beach and swimming pools (2). Very convenient to Pier Park shopping and restaurants. The soft sand is as white and the water is as clear as any photos provided within the listing. The host (owner) was very pleasant and responsive to any concerns as well as providing insight to all tourist related questions, she knows the area.

Calypso 208 was a fabulous find. Kathleen was a gracious host with prompt communications. We found the condo to be spacious, warm and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you needed to cook in after a long day at the beach or hitting the trails. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the proximity to Pier Park and many restaurants. We spent time on the beach and wondered to trails of nearby parks and conservation areas. The Sunsets were “Spectacular” from the balcony overlooking the ocean. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking to spend time in Panama City Beach. We are looking forward to returning next year.

We've come to expect great things when we stay at the Calypso resort. The resort is our favorite place to stay and is in short walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in Pier Park. The home we stayed in was beautiful and fit all of our needs. It's spacious, comfortable, well-decorated and is conveniently located on the 2nd floor which is a short walk from the parking deck. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with. We definitely recommend staying here.

I really liked overlooking the pool from the 2nd floor. The condo was very clean, the beds comfortable, the kitchen well stocked. I also appreciated having kcups and coffee creamer available, since we arrived too late to get groceries. Although smaller than what we normally book, it served our needs well. Loved being close to the beach!

This unit was absolutely gorgeous. Mrs Kathleen was great to work with. Unit is in excellent location. Being on second floor we were concerned about noise but there wasn’t any. With Covid this unit is perfect you do not have to use elevator. I been coming to PCB for over 30 yrs I have to say this was the cleanest condo I ever stayed in and I’m picky. Will absolutely try to use this unit again.

Lovely place and beautiful beach. Easy check in out owner very responsive. Enjoyed the area booked chairs and ended up upgrading to the sand chairs to sit anywhere rather then in a line. Chairs are run by separate owners Easy to bring your chairs and umbrellas. Restaurants convenient walking distance.
