Brill doggie break xx

Our hosts were lovely and very helpful, very clean and everything we could want. Brill for doggies like our 2 as we were right into the garden from our door. Beautiful breakfast 😋 We really enjoyed our stay..first time with our 2 whippets Poppy and Tansie xx

I was a little scared going up the garden with the doggies for a late last wee before bed with a 🔦 lol, would have been brill for a scaredy cat like me to have a couple of movement activated lights in the trees but other than that there was nothing that could have been better ..was perfect.

Overnight outside Helston on return from the Isles of Scilly

Large, spacious well-fitted bedroom and bathroom. Access to lounge area and kitchen including use of a microwave and fridge. Airy garden with furniture - although we had no time to use it. Nice touch at breakfast with croissants and pain au chocolate on offer. Very friendly host and hostess.

Dave & Bernie were excellent hosts, the lodge was perfect for us and 2 dogs really clean, big comfy bed and the breakfast was awesome. Great location to explore Cornwall. Great quality food and all for a really good price.

Very relaxed atmosphere, great hosts..cant wait to return!

What a gem..Stayed 2 nights for attending Son's wedding. Charming, helpful and kind owners Bernie and Dave make you very welcome. Lodges are lovely with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast yummy and plentiful. Loved the facilities..help yourself to fresh milk, lounge area, outside seating and bbq for summer days! An honesty chiller full of drinks of all kinds. Dave even came to the rescue when he heard my Son needed cufflinks for his suit, and kindly let him a pair of his own. So kind and much appreciated..

Great accommodation, excellent hosts

Accommodation was lovely and clean, bed was comfortable and room had everything we needed. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choices and well cooked. Dave and Bernie were very welcoming hosts and very helpful and knowledgeable on the area. The location was ideal for exploring Cornwall.

Good location,good hosts, neglected site. Anex (4 rooms ) was ok and well maintained.

Breakfast good location perfect for us.

The site was run down & uncared for. The gardens had lots of potential but where very neglected with in cut grass etc. The car park was neglected & the site had the appearance of a closed down pub.

My wife Jennie and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would definitely recommend when visiting Cornwall.

Our breakfasts were superb with a great choice of food from cereals , fruit ,yoghurts to full English cooked to perfection Liked having our own front door , meaning we could come and go at our leisure without disturbing fellow guests. Bernie and Dave were the perfect hosts they made us feel very welcome and were extremely easy to get on with. Our lodge room was large with everything you would expect it even had a fridge which was very handy ! Also having use use of the large garden with tables and chairs for our own use. Very peaceful spot and lovely to see cows in the morning and evening in the adjacent field.

Very convenient for our requirements.

The breakfast was excellent. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room was located onto the gardens in a very good position.

The room could have done with better lighting. The bathroom wash basin plug needed attention. Some bulbs had failed.

Excellent would highly recommend

The staff at Crown House and Lodges were lovely really helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast was made to perfection. The accommodation was great it was excellent value for money and we will definitely go again.

Fabulous hosts

Superb hosts, from start to finish, they made us comfortable, allowed us to cone and go as we pleased, provided extras such as use the kitchen and TV lounge, honesty bar, great location. A very personal service, an excellent breakfast and apple trees and facilities within the garden which we could have used more if we'd had better weather. Overall, an excellent stay.

Fantastic place to stay

Dave and Bernie were great hosts, really friendly and helpful. The place is an Ideal location for touring the south of Cornwall - everything within 20 mins. Our lodge was lovely and clean and the breakfast was delicious! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Clean, tidy, good breakfast, friendly owner, good value for money

When we first arrived at the property, it didn't look to great from the front, however, once we were in the lodges, I must say, they were to a good standard. Breakfast was very good, in general, very good value for money. Only downside, a little bit remote, we were walking the South West path, however, if using a car then no issue

Excellent place to stay

Right from arrival they are so friendly and accommodating and cannot do enough for you. We stayed in Bramble lodge which was stunning, spacious and spotlessly clean, the facilities are second to none and I can’t recommend a stay here highly enough, beautiful place and lovely people, will definitely come again when in the area.

Enjoyable stay in Comfortable Lodge

Quiet comfortable lodge in a garden environment and good location about 8 mins drive to the sea. The owners were friendly and helpful and provided a substantial well cooked breakfast. Access to the breakfast room was important for takeaways as pubs and restaurants were not fully open when we visited. Overall a very enjoyable visit.

Blackout curtains would have helped as the room was light in the early morning.

Great B&B, in good location close to many of Cornwall attractions

Bed and mattress was great, room was clean, owner was friendly and breakfast was perfect. Would gladly visit again. Interesting selection of puzzles and games to keep the kids entertained while waiting for the breakfast to be prepared. Thank you!

Lovely break to visit my son.

Excellent hosts and lovely place to stay

Great knowledgeable hosts who provide a great breakfast! We were really happy with our stay here as it provided an excellent base location to drive to every coast, we'd definitely return. Our dog loved it too!
