A Lovely and Homely Stay

The location was ideal from the train station walking or by car, Hever castle is a short walk away, The Greyhound Inn has a cozy feel about it, the room was lovely and the lay out of the inn was set on lovely grounds. So nice to see some of the wild life in the field opposite. The staff were friendly, very welcoming and accommodating, very clean and beautifully decorated all around the inn and room. The food is very nice, to a good selection and high quality. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to go there again.

There was nothing we didn’t like about it.

Relaxing

Very nice location. Nice assortment for breakfast and served in a timely manner.

There was no bar and check in times a bit restrictive although because we had travelled quite far they did accommodate us.

Spot on

Very peaceful and quiet.We ate in for dinner which was perfect, I had the pork and my wife had the sea bass . Also the breakfast was great.

This Greyhound is a good bet for cosy comfort and good food

Great little hideaway with comfy rooms, superb food, and fabulous customer service

Tricky to get to the restaurant without a code for the rear door.

A very mixed message, at a time when the inn was officialy closed

The fact that my booking was not cancelled even though refurbishment was taking place in the background

The breakfast was quite appalling when I had paid £125 for just one night, for one person

Wonderful stay we shall be back

Caroline was very accommodating and thoughtful and exceeded our expectations A very comfortable stay and felt looked after The hotel is very cosy and beautifully appointed with a quaint feel! The bedrooms had a contemporary feel and comfortable bed A very tasty breakfast

Not having an itemised bill - we were unable to check that we had been charged correctly - we seemingly spent £40 on drinks, which seemed an excessive amount.

I was looking for an ideal setting to celebrate my wife’s birthday. I achieved it.

From the outset, we were made to feel very welcome by the hosts. The ambience, location and sheer quality were first rate. The food was delicious and plentiful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, would certainly stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for the ideal get away.

I couldn’t fault it.

A true highlight of our time in England, close to beautiful Hever Castle!

Beautiful accommodations and waking up to the view from the balcony, birds singing, cows, sheep and roosters crowing in the distance. It was wonderful in every way from the excellent food to the friendly staff!

Location fantastic. Staff exceptional superb hosts. Amazing well cooked food.

Fantastic food and stay

Lovely place and looking forward to my next visit

Location we great and not far from Hever Castle. The room was so comfy and had a great nights sleep. Great breakfast! Very enjoyable stay and looking forward going back again.

Exceptional

The room was superb and everything was clean and fresh. The couple running the Greyhound are lovely people and great hosts. The food in the restaurant ( dinner and breakfast) was excellent and we just wished we had arrived with a bigger appetite to take full advantage.

Fabulous for a short stay.

A very peaceful location, we had a garden room on a sunny day and found it relaxing after our long drive. The whole ambience of the Inn was charming and the food and proprietors were excellent. Highly recommended.

Fabulous B & B

We have stayed in a variety of pubs/hotels over the years and the Greyhound is definitely in the top 5,the owners were fantastic,food was superb and the accommodation was outstanding.Primarly booked the Greyhound as was only 10mins from lingfield racecourse,will definitely return even when the racing is not on!!
