Wunderbar, sehr angenehmes Hotel und Personal!

Zimmer und Frühstück waren top, Personal unglaublich freundlich, einfach toll, gerne wieder!

Die Lage, das Frühstück

Sie haben die Betten nicht gemacht und den Müll nicht ausgeräumt! Angeblich der Umwelt zuliebe. Das ist das erste Hotel (und wir sind viel gereist), wo die Zimmer NICHT GEPUTZT wurden. Die Bananenschalen lagen 2 Tage im Abfalleimer. Beim Preis €175 / Nacht !

Great location and very good Hotel.

The breakfast buffet was great. The location is just 5 minutes walk from the Downtown. The room was very sound isolated so we didn't hear any sound. There is a parking garage just outside of the Hotel and for the price its a high value for a 3 star facility.

The Hotel cleans the room every 2 days but that is ok because the lobby has towels if needed. The restaurant is decent but there are not many other services in the facility, but the location to the downtown could be the reason because you won't need much.

Comfortable, spacious, quiet with a fantastic breakfast.

breakfast was amazing with plenty of options. Location is ideal for a short walk to downtown Bamberg and in a very quiet area for sleeping.

Carpet in rooms is a little worn and stained.

Very Good Breakfast. Excellent location with underground parking at reasonable cost. Comfortable beds.

Executive room was too small for two people. Shower in the bathtub not very comfortable to use.

Unusual location was a big Plus!

My comfortable, spacious, quiet room had all the expected features of 3-star accommodation. But the hotel’s peaceful location makes it special: the Kongress sits beside the river, a very pleasant, ten-minute walk (along a tree-lined walkway) from the central area of Bamberg’s old city — quite convenient, as it turned out. It was nice to return here from the sometimes crowded streets downtown. On a Saturday night this was a welcome retreat.

Only one of the room windows opens, and only slightly. This was typical of all rooms as far as I could see.

Great hotel with a cheap parking near the city center

Nice location - very quiet and just 10 minutes walking time from the city center. Pretty large rooms with a seating corner and a desk. Awesome breakfast. Cheap & large parking garage.

Two single beds, but we knew it when we booked it, so it's ok.

Quite convenient even for just a night in Bamberg

I enjoyed the breakfast. It was diverse and components indicated quality. There was just a little queue at the coffee machine. The room was fine, certainly very quiet, nothing spectacular in furnishing, but comfortable and convenient. The garage is big and convenient also for big cars, provided they don't exceed 2m altitude - but there's also a few spots outdoors.

Some other's hair on the hairdryer, a rather weak hairdryer, a little bit of rust where the water leaves the shower - nothing major, but at that price, I'm a little more sensitive.

nice hotel in wonderful city. we’ve stayed in Bamberg four times, and believe this chain (part of Residence) is the bes

wonderful staff and breakfast. easy walk down the river to city center

many items in the gym were broken, and paying extra fee for gym usage (4euro pp)

The food was good, nice variety and tasty.

Two seperate beds instead of one big bed. (Was staying alone but like big beds.)

Was all quite OK, but not worth the money really.

Breakfast buffet was quite nice and the rooms were around the 3 star status.

Outside on the terrace was uncomfortale and done on the cheap. On Friday night we had to leave the terrace because they closed at 10:30pm. Pity really because up until then we were having a nice time there along with another group of customers. I've never heard of Friday early closing at hotel biergarten.

Comfort stay by the river near the tourist attractions.

spacious room, well managed, attentive and friendly staff. We have the room with the river view, so beautiful.

To get to the hotel is a little confusing, since we didn’t know the place well and the bus that goes to the hotel doesn’t run frequently.

The hotel was in a quite location on the river just a 10 minute walk from the main town centre. There was a good buffet breakfast and all staff were friendly and helpful.

For the price I would have expected tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
