Magnifique séjour

Chambre spacieuse avec vue magnifique sur la mer Notre chien a été reçu comme un prince avec un bon gros coussin et une pochette cadeau pour le chien Piscine intérieure chauffée magnifique Repas et petit déjeuner copieux avec beaucoup de choix

Magnifique établissement

Le cadre et l’emplacement de l’hôtel étaient magnifiques. La déco et tous les espaces qui sont charmant et très accueillants.

Nous avons annoncé via la messagerie de booking que nous venions pour fêter l’anniversaire de notre enfant afin de voir s’ils pouvaient avoir une petite attention pour lui. N’ayant aucune réponse via booking. Lors du Check in j’ai rappelé cette info a la personne au Desk et durant tout le séjour rien n’a été fait pour mon fils. Nous sommes très déçus qu’un Hôtel de cette catégorie ne se soucie pas plus des demandes de clients lors d’occasions spéciales. C’est triste et decevant…

Very good experience that can be improved

It’s a very aspiring project with great potentials. -The buffet was great value for money. I honestly don’t think they make a profit from the food -They go above and beyond for dogs, excellent welcome kit and very thoughtful details -Privacy and comfort. The rooms are great.

-Some accesses to various parts of the resort could be improved with a more intelligent way. If you have mobility issues this is not your place. -Hard to find someone at the reception desk at night -Overall the staff is great but they need some better management. Opening hours were not followed and some of the staff is indifferent to your needs and don’t go the extra mile for the price paid.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel , le petit déjeuner, la plage privée, la salle sport et la piscine intérieure ,tout était parfait. L'ambiance de l'hôtel est chaleureuse. Notre suite était magnifique. Le personnel à l'écoute.

Le parking extérieur à 25€ ! Très peu de personnes parlent français Beaucoup, beaucoup vraiment beaucoup d'escaliers

Situation de l’hôtel donnant sur une crique, l’ habitation tout confort avec vue sur la mer. Le petit déjeuner et repas buffet avec un très grand choix.

Spectacular location, pool and private beach but maintenance and room issues were terrible

Location and facilities

TV and air conditioner didn’t work, lighting flickered and shower soap dispenser broke off the first time I showered, flashing open my finger. Issues were reported 4 times over five days but they were never fixed (soap dispenser was the only thing attended to, they reattached it on our last night). Also the private beach was very littered, no one cleaned or supervised rubbish.

Cosas que mejorar

Las clases de gimnasia con Viqui.Una profesional de los pies a la cabeza. Fué encantadora. Debería tener su propio canal de YouTube. Gimnasia a escoger la que quieras. Sonia es la encargada de informarte y apuntarte en las clases que te interesen. También destacar la piscina, el Spa, el interior del apartamento y las vistas, así como el restaurante de la playa. Todo el personal muy amable.

El checking. Hay un mostrador en recepción vacío, pues el checking, tanto de entrada como de salida lo tienes que hacer tú mismo. Eso sí, hay personal para atenderte en cada paso fuera del mostrador. Por lo que aconsejo que, antes de llegar al hotel o antes de salir, es recomendable que lo lleves hecho para gestionarlo in situ de forma rápida. Es una apuesta novedosa la de leer el QR, ya con los deberes hechos, que no sé si deberán cambiar en momentos de máxima afluencia, pues se les puede acumular mucha gente en recepción en un momento. Se verá en un futuro. Repito, importante realizar el checking antes de llegar o marcharte. Hacer mención en que el cheking se puede hacer en español, alemán, inglés y francés (con sus correspondientes banderas), pero en cambio, el hotel está en la Costa Brava (Catalunya) y se han olvidado de eso. ¿Que ha podido pasar?? ¿A quien se le pasó por alto?? Si quiero hacer el cheking en català NO TINC OPCIÓ, deberían pensarlo y añadir el català y lo mismo pensaría si estuviera en Galicia o el País Vasco. Ya bastante que le hable al personal en castellano para que nos entendamos, y no me importa, bueno un poquito, sí, que además tampoco tenga la opción de hacer el cheking en català. Cambiado de tema, en lo que respecta al bufet del desayuno, el zumo de naranja es muy malo, natural no es o dió la casualidad que los días que estuve no hubo suerte. Aunque había más surtido de sabores, pasables Sobre la habitación nos tocó la B84 que está al final de la montaña, en la punta, por lo que recomiendo coger siempre habitaciones que no superen el número 10, que también tienen muy buenas vistas y no tienes toda la subida por delante. Pobre de ti si te olvidas algo y te acuerdas cuando estás abajo 🤗 Respecto al parking, no puedes dejar el coche en donde la entrada del hotel, salvo el tiempo necesario para que te den las llaves y accedas a tu habitación.

It was good value for money since I got a discount with booking.com. I enjoyed my time!

My room was amazing - super comfy bed and a stunning newly renovated space. Everything was decorated nicely and it felt chic and fresh. The view overlooking the beach was breath taking! I also thought the gym was very well fitted out with plenty of equipment. The breakfast is delicious with heaps of options. The staff are very nice and helpful. Also there’s Netflix in the room which was a win.

The private beach is gorgeous but you you have to pay to use the sun beds. This felt odd since the beach can only be accessed by hotel guests who are already paying to stay in the hotel. The beach bar is so overpriced and the food is average! You also have to pay to use the laundry service and bring your own soap. Make sure if you get a room with a kitchen, bring food from the supermarket in town. There’s only a small super market in the hotel which is good but doesn’t have everything for a longer stay.

Bel endroit belle résidence mais isolé de l’extérieur

Très bel endroit, appartement spacieux, très confortable vue mer de la terrasse

N’ayant pu réserver sur Booking.com 2 nuits consécutives, nous avons donc réservé de façon distincte2 nuits ! Le logiciel était d’accord… Sur place il nous a été dit qu’il faudrait quitter l’appartement le matin et refaire un enregistrement pour la nuit suivante. Nous avons bataillé sans résultat ! La résidence était quasiment vide ! Le lendemain matin avec nos valises, nous avons expliqué notre cas à la personne de l’accueil . Celle ci très surprise nous a laissé repartir dans notre appartement ! Nous aurions pu y rester tranquillement ! Une fois sur place on est captifs! Il faut prendre la voiture pour aller à Tossa, boire un verre ou manger …. Un seul restaurant ouvert le soir à la résidence sous forme de buffet. Gênant d’autant que la route est tortueuse … Grosse difficulté pour se garer si on n’utilise pas le parking de la résidence hors de prix!

The views and location are beautiful, Cala Giverola is really nice. Apartment is fine, lacking some privacy for shower/toilet.

To anyone thinking of booking this resort, beware: this is a kids hell! (We travelled with a 14yo and she was annoyed by all the young kids too). This resort is big, has LOTS of children between the age of 2-10yo. The breakfast room is a living nightmare: screaming, running, crying children and babies everywhere. The food quality is ok-ish at best. The pool area: utter chaos and not usuable for adults since it's filled with children (and I mean FULL!). There is no way to relax around the pool. We literally didn't use it once in 4 days. We 'escaped' the crowd by simply booking a long lunch and dinner at the restaurant near the beach, where it was quiet and relaxed. Food was good, wine was good, service was slow and a mess.

Beautiful Property

It’s a beautiful property set amidst nature with direct access to Giverola beach. Once in the property there are a lot of activities to keep one engaged. Breakfast spread was vast and well laid out. Plus supermarket on the hotel premises is a big plus.

Since the property is on a hill slope, there is a lot to walk. So for elder people and people with kids, I would refrain from recommending as they don’t have any provision for golf cart to transfer people around. Also, since the hotel is not exactly located in the town, so food options are limited to those available in hotel unless one has car to travel to nearby towns and other beaches.

a really great family mini-break in a beautiful resort/location, they just need to improve the food.

the variety and quality of food in the restaurants didn’t match the look and feel of the resort. the two pool restaurants served the same food during the day (one was sit-down, the other was take-away and service was slow) and one of the restaurants had the same menu for day and night so if you were there for a longer stay (we only stayed two nights) I think you would tire quickly of the food. the buffet breakfast was great but the buffet dinner was expensive for the quality and variety on offer. it would be great to have more food options for kids and the ice cream truck was unfortunately never open (maybe because it’s only April?). If they improved on this I think it would be 10 out of 10.

Apart from that it‘s a great place!

Very nice resort at a beautiful location. Excellrnt breakfast (although with little variation, after a few days one felt bored)

Unfortunately every little thing costs extra. The resort seems completely to be optimised on profit. No drinking water, no coffee and tea refills, no free shuttle and no WiFi in the rooms!! There’s no a la carte restaurant for dinner, it closes at 4pm, which forces you to go to the more expensive buffer.
