Quirky but beautiful hotel with parking, in a great central location, with very friendly staff.

Great breakfast. Beautiful building with adequate parking. Very friendly staff, who recommended things to do in and around the hotel location.

No herbal tea sachets in the room.

Very friendly helpful staff, good quality room and value for money

I was greeted on arrival by a lovely lady who was so friendly and informative, straight away I felt relaxed. The room was spacious and comfortable with a good quality ensuite bathroom. Food and drink at the adjoining pub where good quality and value for money

Only gripe was I booked a double room which I assumed meant a double bed not to single beds pushed together!

Een erg mooi hotel in een historisch pand. De check-in is efficiënt en duidelijk. Dan kom je in een verzorgde ruime kamer. Ontbijt was heerlijk! Voldoende parking.

Pleasant and relaxing.

Location excellent for the event I was going to. Clean, comfortable room. Enjoyed two dinners I had there.

Very enjoyable. We'll be back!

We thought the breakfasts were exceptional and provided more choice than other places. Our bed was very comfortable. We had an evening meal on Sunday which we enjoyed. Very helpful reception staff who gave us help with our cases.

Nice location, good all round accommodation

The room was situated at the back of the hotel and was quiet, as requested ahead, so we were grateful for that!

The bathroom was a bit tired looking. Broken and cracked tiles, some stained.

Beautiful hotel, fantastic staff, and proper pub food meant we loved our stay!

Staff were fantastic, evening meal in the bar was delicious and catered for vegans so made me very happy. Breakfast was served cold, so they very kindly deducted the cost, although that was a slight downside, I would definitely stay here again, and would highly recommend.

Good traditional style hotel

Large well equipped room. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The bathroom had been refurbished. There was a good selection of teas and coffe in the room. Everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good with a varied menu and served until 11am. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We didn't think the breakfast drinks were good. The coffee was much too strong and the tea wasn't hot.

Lovely hotel but would not want room 17 again. Second visit booked after you hosted my nans wake.

Location great. Staff friendly. Breakfast good value.

Bed very firm. Pillows firm. Noise from corridor sounded like a key pad entrance? Lots of lights but not bright enough for makeup etc… toilet angled uncomfortably.

Very comfortable room. Spacious and clean. Large bathroom with good supply of towels. The breakfasts were very good . Staff in all areas were very pleasant and helpful.

Breakfast was fine. Service was good. Location was excellent for my onward travel.

Room 19 in no way can be called quiet. Traffic noise was unbearable but considering the age of the building not much could be done about that. Very small bath and poor shower let the bathroom down.

Lovely little hotel / bar. Would recommend stopping here if your passing through.

Loved the room decor and its old fixtures tied in with the new. Rooms are lovely size and very clean.

Friday afternoon had to go and track down some one in the bar to check in. No one answered the phone and office was empty.

was goid but felt something missing..ambience,? bathroom a little outdated very small basin, no biscuits with the tea tray, very hard pillows. we treated ourselves to this hotel bit dearer than we normally pay so expected touch more. had good time though

The building was beautiful, the staff were very welcome and helpful. The room was lovely and perfect for our stay. The pub was great with good quality food.

Location was good , arrived early in the morning for a wedding, staff got the room ready with in half an hour of us arriving, excellent turn around by all , thankyou
