High quality in a central location - absolutely brilliant

This hotel is easy to find and centrally located making it perfect if you are going to an event in the town. Parking on site was as described. The room was of high quality, a good standard of decor and the facilities had everything we needed. Breakfast didn't disappoint with everything cooked to high standard and good sized portions. The staff were really friendly and we highly recommend this.

I can't believe this doesn't have more stars!! They would be well deserved

Stayed for one night on business and I will definitely stay there again when I am in the area.

The menu in the restaurant was very good and the food was excellent! The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable!

Excellent!

I liked everything! From the comfortable quirkiness of the spotless hotel with all its amenities. To the very friendly staff, for whom nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

Fantastic stay. Lovely staff that made you feel at ease.

it was away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, but the town was 5 mins in a taxi. Hotel is quite small but all the staff were lovely and so welcoming. Big shout to the boss, Sat I think her name was. I couldn’t get a cab back to hotel and was myself in a strange city. I phoned hotel and she called me a taxi and made sure I got back in one piece. All the staff were so kind and friendly. Food was great, beds comfy. I’d defo recommend for a stay.

some of the stairs to rooms were quite steep, but apart from that it was great.

Exceeded all expectations

For a 3 star hotel it exceeded my expectations in every way. If we are comparing to a Premier Inn there is just no comparison! Personal, friendly, attentive service. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable and very clean room with a lovely bathroom. Fantastic view of the park. Every single communal area shows attention to detail, even the smoking area is spotless and inviting. These guys deserve a brilliant review, and I’m very pleased to leave one. Booking.com however, well I ticked the box marked “one person” and they booked a two occupant stay, so I likely paid over the odds for an unused breakfast and half of a giant kingsize bed. But the hotel was so good I didn’t care about the money.

You could have provided the vibrating smoke alarm we discussed, as I’m too deaf to hear yours. However, I’m so delighted that you thought about it and advertised it prominently, and I did say I wasn’t too bothered, so no harm done there. How lovely it is to see a hotel thinking of hard of hearing guests, and thoughtfully displaying the info in writing at the desk. Bravo!

A great hotel with a lovely restaurant

Very friendly staff, very clean and well equipped rooms, lovely big and comfy bed and the restaurant served great cocktails and good food.

rooms and staff excellent. Pre booked personal choice breakfast was a great idea and exceptional. nothing was too much trouble . the staff were fantastic , friendly and very socialble ..the bar area was a little small and too close to the dining area. however, we were out and about a lot and only had the occasional drink in the bar. would definately stay again and would certainly recommend a stay for anyone visiting the area.

Better than any pictures online.

Loved the restaurant here, the meal we had and the breakfast on the morning was beautiful. We left our keys with reception while we went out in the evening. Came back at 2am and was no problem letting us back in the hotel and giving our keys back, was a great little touch. Rooms was spotlessly clean. The place is a little dated but honestly really recommend this hotel it's so nice.

I enjoyed my stay.

The breakfast was adequate. The dinner was good and the room was excellent.

I was hoping I could get a co-driver for the journey back but in the end this didn't matter as the journey back was ok.
